These guys will rebuild & retrain and are vowed & committed to hurting America and her interests. We can't just leave. I am also well aware that our very presence in muslim & arab lands provides the fuel & justification for some arabs & muslims to continue to fight against us. However if we are trying to win hearts & minds in the AF-PAK area, we must first clear away--destroy--the extremest elements in that area. The situation on the ground must be secure in order for elections to be held freely, for aide workers to operate, for schools to be built, for reform to take place. We have to wage & win the war first and then bring in logistical and humanitarian efforts.
