WASHINGTON (CNN) – The Republican National Committee will unveil a new Web video Thursday critical of President Obama's plan to revive the economy.
It is the third such video released by opponents and supporters of Obama's stimulus strategy in the past 24 hours. The Democratic National Committee released a Web video criticizing House Majority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, for recent comments he made on the plan, and House Republicans have issued their own video critical of the plan.

Every time the Republicans open their mouths I'm hearing the "wah, wah, wah, wah, wah" from the Charlies Brown cartoons. Its just more whining. Sick to death fo hearing it. They can't do anything right, and now they're trying to shift the blame. Pity that some idiots in this country are falling for it. I thought the American people were brighter than that. Where is my gas tax granted free textbook that President McCain promised me? I voted for that one economic policy stance alone...the only economic policy stance that President McCain and Graham seemed to have (other than the fact that because I don't have a passport; henceforth I believe that all brown people are Muslims and all Muslims are Terrorists).....Country First!
I won't to know why the media allows the crap to hipe either party to go on. It doesn't bring the country together. Their purpose is to product rating which we fall into that trap, bigger ratings means that those in media get to keep their job and paycheck.
Any basic study of economics will demonstrate that as you remove resources from the economy (taxes), those resources are no longer available for productive use (business generating value and paying employees), and the standard of living for everyone declines. Guess what, the decline is just getting started, and the big O wants to accelerate it.
The more poverty, the more misery, the more the non-tax paying voters depend on the government for bread crumbs, the more securely the Democratic party holds power.
And to think the RNC wanted to do nothing, how much more screwed would we be?
Stimulas plan will in the end cost much more than the 787 billion they say.
My next worry is the health reform and how they want to pay for it
1) they say raising taxes will fund part of health reform.
2) saving money from medicre and medicaid.
When was the last time any goverment said they will save money and actually save money.
It is 100% the opposite.
Anytime government gets involved in running anything it usually ends up costing double and triple their original estimates.

Perhaps if the Republicans hadn't blocked so much of the direct spending in favor of tax cuts the stimulus would be working better.
Other than the economists that are in the tank for Obama, the vast majority of those who know anything about economics understand that the Obama plan wasn't going to work. The libs bought into it of course because of their mindless idol worship. The incoherent wasteful spending was the last thing our country needed.
Boner told his constituents that jobs were being created several weeks ago (I saw the video of the speech).
He then went back to DC and said no job were being created (Isaw the video of that speech).
Ohio needs to put his feet to the fire and get the truth.

Obama’s poll numbers are going into the tank. It reflects serious misgivings about the administration's policies at a time when the bad consequences of those policies have not yet been felt. Taxes are going to rise; deficits are going to soar; unemployment will remain relatively high and growth relatively slow due to Democratic policies that weaken the economy, even after the current recession ends; and inflation seems almost inevitable. And that assumes the Democrats don't succeed in passing tax-and-trade or socialized medicine, in which case the adverse consequences will be much worse.

One of the big differences between socialism and capitalism is the methods used: socialism is basically to help all, not like capitalism which breeds more greed. Capitalism is also good to a point. When that point reaches the levels reached by AIG, Goldman-Sachs, Bof A, Bernie Madoff, Enron, etc then we have problem. Capitalism should reach everyone, but it doesn't. The rich get richer, and the poor get poorer, and where did all the tax breaks under Bush go.....to the wealthiest and the big corporations, ala Exxon (where they kept having record profits during the fuel crises because the could charge what they wanted).
