Well, one of them had substance - Palin had to pay the state back almost $8500 for the trips she took her props, I mean kids, on. Several of the other resolutions were whitewashes. The per diem she has taken is pretty chintzy. The Wasilla hillbillies need as much dough as they can get, and when the state coffers began to dry up they simply moved on to new ways to get money.

Good riddance, Sarah. You coarsened the political discourse and you are now reaping what you have sown.

The LOSER pays against lawsuits, ethics complaints, etc... We would get rid of a huge chunk of these nuisance complaints.

There is movement to destroy this woman and it is really a shame that people have nothing more to do than waste the AK taxpayer's money. Venture to say that all of this is politically motivated and it is an embarrassment that politics has resorted to this. The liberal agenda is striking below the belt and a blow to the women's movement. Say what you want but I have spent 30 years fighting machines that have nothing more than destroying the character and personal lives of hard working women. It amazes me that it is acceptable for some politicians to not be targeted and others to be continually assulted. A couple of months back a doll company wanted to make dolls in the likeness of Obama's daughters and there was a huge backlash about it. Months later unflattering things are said about an ex vice presidental canididates daughter and pictures are photoshopped with her handicapped son and people claim that she cannot handle the heat. There is a double standard here that is WRONG>

The law needs to be changed so that if someone files against another and the charges are found to be false, the one that made the false allegations should be required to pay all the legal fees, including those of the courts and the defense.

She is right – lawsuits are a distraction – and that one (Jones') took the U.S. Congress months to straighten out, including Impeachment Trial, with salvating Republicans and Admiral Rheinquist centerstage.

Can't CNN report any actual NEWS! This is just a Palin press release. What CNN should of done is interview those that filed the complaints. i.e. Given them a chance to back up if the filling is legit or not.

This way the public can determine if the people doing the fillings are the jerks or not (i.e. just doing this for political reasons).

SO while I believe Palin has little to no merit as a leader, I have to take her side on this one thanks to the bogus job CNN does as a news service.

Why didn't the report name the charges filed against Palin? The answer is CNN doesn't care how frivolus they are, the headline is what there after. I don't find Palin to be the best candidate but the more they go after her with the help of the liberal MSM the more I will root for her to put them all to shame.

She scares the hell out of the Elite Political Class including Republicans. Thats why she is ridiculed by them.

I think there should be an easy way to handle this. Hire a taxpayer funded group that handles ethics complaints, with a contract that can't be broken. Let them handle all ethics investigations. Since the contract can't be broken or changed, state officials can't really influence it (and it would be a private entity, so couldn't even threaten firing members of it)... but at the same time, if people want to file frivolous ethics complaints, this group keeps track of the amount of time and effort, and bills the person who files it. I mean come on, what proof does whoever filed the "paid interview" complaint have?

Of the total of 19 ethics complaints that have been filed against Palin or her staff, “15 have been resolved without any finding of wrongdoing, and four are now pending,” Friday’s statement from Palin’s office also said.
