Because, unlike motor vehicles, owning a gun is a right not a privledge. That right says that congress will not infringe on an individual's right to keep and bear arms. Registrations and permits are an infringement to that right.

There are tons of laws on the books about firearm regulations....I know, I teach firearm safety, usage, etc....the laws aren't enforced. Most states have some sort of registration, counties and cities the same. We don't need more laws....what we need are much stiffer penalties for those that commit crimes with a firearm. Our nanny-liberal judges let criminals escape on technicalities.....and then they also shorten their sentences for "good behavior..." We have the laws, we just need to punish offenders.

He is a leader who doesn't hide his head in the sand when the going gets rough. He doesn't put this country in harms way, and then goes off for a round of golf. He doesn't leave the country to a corrupt Vice President, who doesn't answer to anyone. President Barack Obama will be remembered for more than governing, he will be remembered for his integrity.
