Palin set to let the tweets 'fly'

Sarah Palin tweeted Friday that her new, personal twitter account would be established later this month.
Sarah Palin tweeted Friday that her new, personal twitter account would be established later this month.

(CNN) - Sarah Palin says she's ready to be unleashed.

The Alaska governor, who is set to resign her post at the end of this month, took to the social networking site Twitter Friday to proclaim she's looking forward to being a little less restrained.

"10 dys til less politically correct twitters fly frm my fingertps outside State site," Palin declared.

"I'll stay in touch w/whomever wants via personal twtr site; launch July 26," she also tweeted.

The former GOP vice presidential candidate announced earlier this month she would step down at the end of July instead of serving out the remaining year and a half of her term.

Palin later told reporters she intends to spend her days out of the governor's mansion traveling the country in support of candidates - Republican or Democrat - whose ideas she agrees with.

The fact that CNN sees nothing more important to report than Sarah Palin's incoherent twitter sentences is appalling. I guess it's just easy and simple – unlike REAL news like healthcare reform, the economy, and supreme court nominees – that would require some real journalistic talent, resources, and effort. Sarah Palin is a freak show and a distraction from what we MUST focus on! Please focus on issues that matter.

The Quitter on Twitter. What a sad commentary on the dumbing down of America, that there are people who can't see what a Jim and Tammy Faye-like huckster this nongoverning idiot is.

The Sarah Palin re-make of the Statue of Liberty:

Send me your money, you poor, you tired, you stupid yearning for
    Britney.

If she runs in 2012 I hope very democrat crosses the line to vote for her in the primaries so she wins the nomination. That would assure us of 4 more years of President Obama!

Sarah Palin is news and will continue to be so, because the media would not leave her alone and frivolous lawsuits would not allow her to do her job as Governor. They never could find anything seriously wrong in her life so like bullies they beat up on her and her family. I hope she will now laugh herself all the way to the bank. Who care, I do.

Actually, YOU'RE ALL WRONG!!! She's being 'unleashed' for the reason she stated; so she doesn't have to worry about being politically correct. Her and Hugh Hefner have quite the deal in the making, seven or eight figures indeed!

Hey, why don't you guys grow up. The double standard in this country is disgusting. What everyone doesn't realize is that with every stupid comment the liberals make, she grows stronger – combine that with Obama's fallling numbers, massive debt and socialistic ideals, we will have a Republican back in office. We can smell your fear from a mile away.
