Heard from a teenager the other day that they don't Twitter. Apparently, it's only for the 25 – 40 year olds.

Kevin in Ohio   July 17th, 2009 9:11 pm ET

He is obviously ignoring a major part of America by pandering to the twits.

Zero.   July 17th, 2009 8:23 pm ET

Useing Twitter for this, is better than tape-cutting for movies..
Only an idiot would listen and be serious..

Zero.   July 17th, 2009 8:15 pm ET

Obama the twit. Remits into none-legit. Whist playing with Bit's...

annie for Palin   July 17th, 2009 8:05 pm ET

are they trying to stay up with Gov. Palin?

Aunt Bea and Opie   July 17th, 2009 8:03 pm ET

What they dont tell you is, they only poll Goober and his family.

m smith   July 17th, 2009 7:38 pm ET

Why not? Even that dufus Mc cain is trying to use twitter. Bold move keep us all informed we love it.

marissa   July 17th, 2009 7:16 pm ET

Another prime time news conference. This president is seriously messing with my tv schedule. President Obama needs to understand that those who want to be informed are informed and those who are not yet informed will most likely not watch is news conference. The press doesn't even give him tough questions, this is turning into a joke.

Barry   July 17th, 2009 6:56 pm ET

A twit and his twitter...what trailer park trash has taken up residence in the White House!!

Brina   July 17th, 2009 6:53 pm ET

I'm glad he's in control of announcements....good for him.

Batman   July 17th, 2009 6:37 pm ET

I curse Al Gore for creating the internet. If I hear one more politician or new anchor talking about twitter, I’m going to hurl. Whatever happened to actual reporting and an occasional press conference?

malclave   July 17th, 2009 6:24 pm ET

So it's okay to make a twit/Twitter remark about Palin, but not Obama?

CNN... The Most Yellow Name in Journalism

GI Joe   July 17th, 2009 5:50 pm ET

Has Jack Cafferty gone hiking on the Appalachian Trail?

He left Friday, July 10 in the middle of the program (without a word) and hasn't been heard from since.

We get blow by blow details on all others, why not news anchors?

Accountabiliy or quit.

Hagen, NC   July 17th, 2009 5:34 pm ET

We do not need twitter on anything. Bring back my money which I lost in my 401K and my retirement money. By giving press conference you cannot do it. You all are idiots including the President. Go back to Chicago or even to Kenya. By the way why did you mention muslim-Americans in your speech at NAACP yesterday. There are also American from other race and religion. Barack is a hypocrite. Get lost.

Matt in MN   July 17th, 2009 5:20 pm ET

Quick, approval numbers are dropping! Schedule a press conference so the President can do the only thing he's good at!

phoenix86   July 17th, 2009 5:10 pm ET

Great news Mr. President. Keep the uninformed..we...uninformed and focused on irrelevent things like press conferences on twitter and youtube. Meanwhile, in Iran, North Korea, unemployment, deficits...

Lucky for Obama that Obamabots don't like to think.

yuri   July 17th, 2009 5:09 pm ET

And let's see some constructive messages not exceeding 147 characters, of course.

Dutch/Bad Newz, VA   July 17th, 2009 4:59 pm ET

First Myspace and Facebook, now Twitter. It finally feels like we are living in the 21st century. Thanks Mr. President for getting all of these ol senators and politicians technically proficient.

Hmmmmm.....

Good for them!
