WASHINGTON (CNN) – The latest fundraising numbers show that the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee significantly outraised its Republican counterpart in June, though the two committees have raked in close to the same amount over the entire year.

The DSCC reported Monday raising $6.2 million last month compared to the National Republican Senatorial Committee's $3.4 million in the same time period. Since Jan. 1, the DSCC has raised $23.2 million, while the NRSC has taken in $20.1 million.

The DSCC also has a little less than double cash-on-hand as the NRSC, $7.9 million to $4.3 million. However, the DSCC is carrying a debt of $3.7 million, while the NRSC reports holding no debts.

Well, if the Democrats don't start standing with the President they sure aren't getting any more of my money. These unruly self-serving politicians are as responsible as Republicans for making the American people afraid of the real change they voted for when they elected Barack Obama. Health care reform – with a public option – NOW!

while i appreciate your coverage of the politics of your state, i think you should also place some interest in the politics of small island developing states such as the commonwealth of Dominica where alot is going on politically ,

republicans are to busy trying to earn enough money to pay for all the new taxes that will be coming due to Obama's spending spree. Democrats will just apply for a cabinet post and not pay any taxes. All will be forgiven.

That is because the GOP is not getting the kickbacks like they used to.Their last cash pot is Health Care. Why else would they talk and talk. At some point the real world some action is required. The American people just want to see action. Mistakes will be made and fixed but advancement is happening!

That's because despite the noise machine, a majority of Americans support the President and Democratic policies.

The opposition yells loudly, but they are virtually powerless.

Perhaps in 8 years they will understand how Democrats felt under the last 8 years of GOP rule.

Come on CNN , it is academic, when the President pushes the REAL button on the (CAMPAIN COMMITEE) The (GOP) will really know what time it is. We are ready to continue to put the (RNC) – (STEELE) and the (GOP) – (LIMPBASH) into the (AYBSS). We have gone thru 8 (YEARS) of BUSH- CHENEY, and by the way, where is (RICHARD) at?

The time for raising money for the DSCC is now. We can not allow the Republicans to take over the White House or any other house. George W. Bush put us in the outhouse, now the GOPers want us to pay them more money, so they can keep us there.

    Nothing doing.

That's pretty good when you consider that it's only the democrats that have been working their REAL jobs as well. All the repunks have been doing is siting around whining and doing nothing.

Just imagine if democrats had the same work ethic as republicans. Nothing would EVER get done. We would all just look at the amount of work that had to get done, and whine, cry, and throw a hissy fit...............Or quit.

Hhhmmm. And just where did this money came from? Little old ladies in Topeka? Family farms in Nebraska? I don't think so.
I'd love to see the contributor list.

What, did Republican donors find out their contributions were being used to funnel money into the NRSC Chairman's indiscretion?

Not even a C STREET mafia cult could keep the secrecy any longer, yet Ensign stays in office. Understandably, I would NOT contribute to their corruption & hypocrisy, either.

The demon-crats better raise every time they can – they are going to need every penny come election time. Not to mention how much 'get out of jail' money they'll need if the keep destroying our beloved country.

Lets face it.There are people who want to fix problems in our goverment and then there are people who want to keep the poor and so called middleclass down in the ditch without any clothes on there back and in order to survive we have to give money to either republicans or democrats thinking that they are going to do something for us.Its like a race to see who can soak us the most.Alot like insurance companys,Loan companys,Banks,They all work in unison to ring the living daylights out of us.This is whats wrong with America people.

  21. This will change.....

    as Obama's failures mount.....

Obama is failing on the economy, unemployment, and home foreclosures....

He is failing with N. Korea, Iran, China, the Taliban and Al Qaeda.....

He is failing on health reform and being criticized for excessive spending....

I don't care how much they raise. Everytime they raise a lot of money I just get sick to my stomach seeing millions and millions going to hateful untruthful advertisements. Money coming from big industry that further puts politicians in the pockets of these lobbyists. I don't care if its Dems or GOP. The United Corporations of America are continuing to buy all these pols and its just horrible watching money wasted like they do. Imagine what could be done if they would put a fraction of the time and energy they spend fundraising and following the lobbyist pull into actually doing positive work for hte people who elect them. Granted it would be a one term job but would be a great example of a real A

Good! The repubs are done. I think even more midwest/great plains states will start going democratic in coming elections. I see Nebraska and North Dakota heading that direction in the future. Republicans hate family farmers. How unamerican is that!?
