WASHINGTON (CNN) - The Democratic National Committee released a sharply-worded statement Tuesday accusing Republicans of colluding with "K Street Lobbyists" to incite "angry mobs" of extremists to disrupt health care town halls in congressional districts around the country.
Full statement as released by DNC spokesman Brad Woodhouse:
Statement from DNC Communications Director Brad Woodhouse on the Republican Party and Allied Groups’ Mob Rule:The Republicans and their allied groups – desperate after losing two consecutive elections and every major policy fight on Capitol Hill – are inciting angry mobs of a small number of rabid right wing extremists funded by K Street Lobbyists to disrupt thoughtful discussions about the future of health care in America taking place in Congressional Districts across the country.
However, much like we saw at the McCain-Palin rallies last year where crowds were baited with cries of 'socialist,' 'communist,' and where the birthers movement was born – these mobs of extremists are not interested in having a thoughtful discussion about the issues – but like some Republican leaders have said – they are interested in ‘breaking’ the President and destroying his Presidency.
These mobs are bussed in by well funded, highly organized groups run by Republican operatives and funded by the special interests who are desperately trying to stop the agenda for change the President was elected to bring to Washington. Despite the headline grabbing nature of these angry mobs and their disruptions of events, they are not reflective of where the American people are on the issues – or the hundreds of thousands of thoughtful discussions taking place around kitchen tables, water coolers and in homes.
The right wing extremists’ use of things like devil horns on pictures of our elected officials, hanging members of Congress in effigy, breathlessly questioning the President's citizenship and the use of Nazi SS symbols and the like just shows how outside of the mainstream the Republican Party and their allies are. This type of anger and discord did not serve Republicans well in 2008 – and it is bound to backfire again.
UPDATE: Republican reaction to the DNC statement after the jump
Comment by National Republican Congressional Committee spokesman Ken Spain on Offensive DNC 'Mob Rule' Statement:What Democrats call ‘mob rule’ the average American calls ‘democracy.' Is this the strategy Democrats had in mind when they promised to galvanize public opinion regarding their unpopular massive government-takeover of health care?
This hyper-defensive reaction from the Democrat Party speaks volumes about the precarious position their members find themselves in. Speaker Pelosi and other party leaders dubbed this recess a healthcare ‘offensive,’ but little did we know the ‘offensiveness’ would be aimed at their own constituents. These kinds of despicable characterizations of middle class Americans, who oppose trillions in mounting government debt, as elements of the partisan ‘fringe’ smacks of elitism.

Once again the proof is in the pudding; clearly republicans hate freedom and democracy unless of course they get their way.
From this you, might think that the Republicans had been taking lesson from MoveOn.Org and others on the Left. But the DNC would think of those on the radical Left as "mainstream".
Is this anything like the DNC using ACORN? No this was voting americans, democrats and rebublicans sick of the congress not
listening to us?
Inciting a Mob at town halls is going to backfire, just like it did during the Obama v. McCain election.
Also, stalling reform is going to backfire. The Lobbyists and special interests are seriously under-estimating Obama – he will use this time to organize an even stronger push for a Public Option.
This is the same Insurance our Senators, Troops, and Seniors currently use – why not make it available to those who want to purchase it?
These astroturfers need to be put in their place.
I strongly suggest that town hall attendees who want to counter these bozos, try shouting "Health Care Now!" in response to these tactics.
In addition to this, a public condemnation of these schuysters at the start of their angry mob attitude, may also shut them up and quick.
This organized disruption of town halls is a direct interference with government business, and the FBI has jurisdiction and authority to get involved if necessary.
Health care will pass, and these tactics are the same crap the GOP and such pulled during the election campaigns.
You can already see how well that worked out for them.
Getting the media to cover this will also help expose the true nature of their agenda.
These rabble rousers are atrocious......Thieir flavor of disruption started long ago, but was recently resurrected by desperate Republicans.....It has the same DNA as was evident in many that attended Palin campaign rallies.....They are fueled by Limbaugh, Hannity, Malkins and others, and funded by wealthy donors in the GOP....They misrepresent America and its values, and bring shame to their party and the country.....Freedom of Speech is a right that we are 'Privileged' to enjoy....It wasn't intended as a flatform for the hateful and unlearned......
It's nice that the DNC has at least grown a set, though it should be almost as concerned with the effect of K Street connections on its own party! The rabid, racist tea-party crowd is dangerous in the short-term, no doubt, but the undemocratic process of shaping a bill for the benefit of private insurers is a result of collusion between lobbyists and principle-free Democrats like Max Baucus and Barack Obama. Single-payer is the only sane solution!
This makes absolutely no sense at all. Typical DNC.
The DNC is going to whine about labeling politicians as Nazis or the devil? That's a joke. I guess they forgot what they did during George Bush's presidency! Morons.
None of this surprises me. Anyone who has watched the behavior of the Republican members over the past several months can see that they are very desperate people.
And they're acting insanely. They don't realize that their repeated attacks on President Obama and their obstruction of Democratic policies only makes their image worse.
They're a party of the past. They'll be voted out of the offices they still occupy in 2010,2112 and 2014.
We're looking for another major party now.
Apparently Obama and his friends in the DNC think it is okay for groups like ACORN and the President himself earlier in his "career" to stir things up but when the Republicans organize it is all of a sudden the most deplorable act ever.
How hypocritical. If these were republicans being hammered by liberals you wouldn't hear a thing from the DNC. Both parties are out of touch. Rushing such controversial legislation through openly is a bad idea. The majority disagrees with Nacy, Harry, and Barry on this. But these elected officials act as if their party is all that matters. We, the people, still rule in this country. If the majority doesn't want it can it. Single-payer does not have the support of the majority of Americans !!Go back to the drawing board and come up with a proposal the majority will support. Simple.
America needs a "Public Option" its the only way to keep the Insurance Companies from gaming the health care system.
They just can't understand why people are not in favor of their health care plan so they have to blame everyones bad opinion of it on the Repulicans. I'm sorry but democrats have a super majority, they can do whatever they want. Since people realize this they are making sure their voice is heard Not a republican voice but a citizens voice.
Republicans are despicable. They'll do anything for power, won't they?
What's sad is that this is entirely true–it's not partison hyperbole. Lobbyists are behind these "angry mobs," it's not a true grassroots movement. Why are Republicans so afraid of having this debate? Why must they lie?
Nice try. These are people that are angry over the govement takeover of healthcare. Almost all the polls are showing that people do not want this and they are coming to these townhalls to express how they feel. I guess your labled an "extreemist" because you don't agree with this administration. The only rallying i have seen is grassroots, informing people where their congressmen are going to be.
That is exactly what the good ol' boys do.
DNC thank you for telling everyone what "these" folks are up to again.
No real surprise here. The party that embraced Rove, Limbaugh, Hannity, O'Reilly, Gingrich, W, Palin, and Cheney. Lie loud, lie often, shout your lies louder, and some will believe you. Witness: W and Rove attack on McCain in 2000, the Swift Boat Liars, any Limbaugh radio show, Sean "I'll be waterboarded for charity" Hannity, Sarah "I told congress thanks but no thanks to the bridge to nowhere (after she took the money, and then spent it on the approach road to the bridget that was to be built)" Palin.
It is sad that these people think it is ok to stifle discussion, but then when you represent the 28% of Americans who think health care is just fine, I guess you have to do something drastic (or un-American, whatever you might call it).
For what it is worth, at lease when we were thumpped at the polls, we maintained our dignity.
People are concerned, and they should be, that they're going to get this "nationalized health care" rammed down their throats like the stimulus and they are upset. I don't think this has anything to do with being a Democrat or a Republican – a lot of people just do not support it.
Every one of the "thoughtful discussions taking place around kitchen tables, water coolers and in homes" that I've been a part of or listened in to has focused on the ineptitude of government, especially in regards to healthcare. So from my (not-necessarily-representative) perspective, the conversation isn't that far away from the message of the "angry mobs."
My favorite, "let them fix the VA before they mess with the rest of our care".
Free speech is one thing but these people just want to disrupt town hall meetings. There no better then the idiots who disrupted the Republican convention during the election. Two wrongs don't make a right.
Whatever! The point here is that the DNC tactics that worked during the Obama campaign last year won't work this time and they know it!
All one has to do is read John Dean's "Conservatives Without Conscience" and "Broken Government" to see what the GOP has done to this country.
"Real" conservatives know that the GOP has been taken over by radicals that have been hell bent on destroying the middle class in order to further enrich the top 5% of the country.
The Libs need to look in a mirror. What's wrong with a little peaceful protest about the direction the government is headed. Hypocrites.
Yes, everyone who doesn't agree With Pelosi, Reed, and Obama is a right wing crazy!! Please keep this up Dem's it's only another 18 months until your gone!
Atleast none of these are Govt events held by the likes of ACORN.
It's time to call this crap out for what it is. NeoCon racist, BS propaganda aimed at trying to maintain the status quo, and misdirecting the public into thinking everything is OK as is. I've seen grade school kids act with more maturity and professionalism that the current republican party. Every month it seems they are sinking to new lows. Keep up these kinds of hate mongering campaigns, and Obama will have no problem getting re-elected in 3 years.
Perhaps the Republicans have been taking lessons from the disruptive habits of the Democrats. People who live in glass houses......
Republicans had eight years to do something, anything good but did nothing. Now they seem to have all the answers and all the lunatics!!
After 8years of the Bush Administration what does the Republican party have to offer but lies. Facing the truth would mean re-thinking much of their dogma. Thinking will never be excepted with in the conservative movement.
Clearly the DNC is out of touch with mainstream America: this is exactly reflective of where the American people are on this issue. Look at the polls. It's sad when they can't win approval for this with the public, and they can't even win approval for this in the House and yet they still claim it's what EVERYONE wants. ?????
The DNC should organize a similar movement of liberals to show up at these meetings and silence the shouting idiots of the party of NO.
You have to be kidding me. I guess the DNC doesn't watch any polls before it says that these protestors are out of touch with the majority. The majority of Americans are against Cap and Tax, this health care bill, and the "Stimulous" bill.
For the DNC's information, I personally know three democrats who were at Lloyd Doggett's town hall meeting and they were very upset with his stance. They are now switching to the Republican party because of what Obama is doing. It's the same story nationwide and it will not be a good time to be a Dem. This liberal test is going to end up being the best thing for true conservatism.
By the way DNC, we are allowed to voice our opinions. This is not China, yet and until then, we can voice our opposition to your policies. Threatening to leave the stage like the HHS secretary did is not going to help you and further insults middle Americans such as me. I don't belong to either party, any group, blog, or anything this letter says. I am an middle income average person who ALMOST voted for Obama. I couldn't decide until the day I voted so no one accuse me of being some right wing nut. Having said that, Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are insulting us with their "cram down your throat" policies and it's going to backfire big on them. I hope we have a country left.
I am so tired of these right wing radicals funding staged protests at what should be relevant conversations regarding a very important issue. Perhaps some of these so called "concerned citizens" should listen and pay attention to people who are affected deeply by the current health care system. I do not understand mob mentality. The idea that civilized human beings cannot and will not communicate effectively to resolve a major problem in society speaks loudly about the willingness of these people to improve things in the country for the good of all. Crazy, crazy behavior. All blessed by the Republican Party.
Where is our "Morning Joe". Not many level headed Republicans standing up for their party in a respectable way. Joe needs to take the lead. He is smart and level headed and I think he will be one of the best people to lead the Republican party back to a place of respectability. What in the world is wrong with all of our intelligent Republican leaders. It is as though they have abandoned all reason to engage in some of the worst behavior by a political party that this country has seen in recent time (discounting those fraudulent Bush elections).
Isn't it strange that Dr. Frist, who was a Senator, now wants to tells us all about what ought to happen with healthcare. He had that chance a long time ago. Where was he then?
Maybe folks just don't like what the DNC is selling this time? They ever think of that?
This clearly points out the fact that the New GOP has turned into a political home for right wing extremists and racists groups. They serve no beneficial purpose to America, but only foster ignorance, fear, anger and hate.
It's an embarrassment to our Country.
The rational Republicans have either switched to Independent or Democrat to get away from them.
I would think the republicans learned their lesson in the last election by all the negative adds they put out against the president plus they had Sarah out there helping with all these hateful comments. I have been been a republican all my life after I seen how the republicans acted and now throwing Sarah out their for a canditate in 2012. I have quit this decitful party and become a independent. I hope all he republicans in DC get voted out in the next election. The republican with only 23 percent left think they can get a republican into the white house. What are they thinking.?? I just cannot see how the republicans can be such racits. I hope in they end they get the pay back that they have coming.
It sounds like the Tea Party conspiracy crowd is at it again.
They should remember, "There coming to get you, ah hah, ah hah ..."
They are afraid of common citizens who happen to express their opinions openly, if they disagree with their positions.
Well looks like the uptighty rightys are at it again. They have nothing but intimidation and fearmongering left. They can't intelligently and honestly debate an issue so they want to shout at those that want intelligent discourse. They choose how they want to behave and blames others when they are called out on their behavior. Hypocrisy and deception have become synonymous with the GOP.
Timeline 2050 – GOP who?
Oh yeah, cause NONE of that stuff happened during the Bush years, right? Liberals have been all sunshine and lollypops for the last decade. In reality, never have I met more bitter, angry people than those on the left. I think they're just upset that those of us with conservative values are finally growing a pair and speaking out. But I guess Mr. Woodhouse feels that protest is only permitted for Democrats, and only when the GOP is in power.
It is not about stirring things up. They were sent there with scripts to start a riot. Did you see it? There is nothing wrong with voicing your opinion, but when you are shouting over people and telling them to shut up and sit down, I think that went a little too far. It reminds me of the 60's when the blacks were marching peacefully and the ignorant people were shouting and throwing things at them. I am wondering if that is next.
You have to remember the insurance companies are throwing millions of dollars into this campaign and it seems that everything is on the table even violence.
I don't agree with the DNC often, but I already I have place to go that's pack with rations and weapons when the political right get tired of democracy and use their guns to take over because they aren't rich enough. If you listen enough to Republicans they more radical than those that left the union in 1861; hardly a day goes by which I am certain the Republicans care more about themselves then they do their country
What? The rupublicans are inciting anger and suppressing thoughtful discussion?
I cannot believe it! Oh, wait...I can.
Gotta love the GOP...a dying breed.
REAL people are voicing REAL complaints about the way Congress is acting.
If the Dems have a problem with that (they do), so be it.
Oh, and single-payer is the path to health-care hell.
The Republicans in this country have stooped to the level of a spoiled child having a temper tantrum.
Stay classy!
What a waste of words. It is always a problem when people begin to realize that the party in power is not working for them. Obama has used this crisis to push an agenda that has nothing to do with the crisis. It is time for Americians to stand up!!! I am glad that some have the courage and will not be silenced by the DNC, Acorn and others. I just hope it is not too late.
Man oh Man does the DNC and Brad Woodhouse have it wrong. The majority of Americans do not want Obamacare. And they are furious it is being cramed down thier throats. The verision of the bills are thousands of pages long. What the hell is in them that needs to be thousands of pages long. Tons of new government regulations that effect everyone thats what. And Americans are beyond angry with those who claim this needs to be rushed into law before all Americans have a chance to understand just what in God's name is in it.
There is no need for Republicans to incite anger, the "rush in before they know what's in it" Democrats have already done it for them.
Sounds like Florida 2000 all over again.
This health care bill may not be all that great, but there is never any reason to stoop to this level. The GOP is arguably "winning" this battle in the court of public opinion anyway, so what do they have to gain by this Neanderthal behavior?
Really sad comment on the nature of American politics in 2009.
The Republicans only want to hurt this President at any cost. The Republicant party cannot survive if he is successful. They will stop at nothing to hurt him and this country, as long as they make their corporate cronies happy. These people are being used and working against their own best interests.
This is an insult to those of us who have a real issue with the out of control spending in Washington.
I have attended a "Tea Party", and Town Hall meeting, but never by bus, or paid for by anyone but myself. Nor did any others who attended.
Again, the Democrat Party has no clue, and can only respond to the anger against this out of control spending by trashing anyone who agrees with them.
Sounds like the DNC is doing exactly what they are accusing the GOP of doing ....
Don't know how wise it is for the DNC to take this tack. Unless they can come up with reasonably unassailable, documentary proof of this connection between the GOP and its allies, on the one hand, and these nutjobs, on the other hand, the DNC risks opening itself up to vicious and damaging counterattack. If, in turn, the GOP is able to make the case that these are just average, upright "real" Americans, this will BADLY backfire on the DNC and the cause of health care reform. It would be a bad credibility hit.
Of course, if they have such proof, bring it out NOW.
Heard a report about this on the radio yesterday. I'm convinced that regardless how well badly this health care overhaul might end up, the Republican alternative would be infinitely worse.
What about the freedom of speech of the Congress people involved as well as the people who attended to hear what they had to say and to ask honest questions?
What right does anyone to scream amd yell and disrupt a meertng and then claim it is their "freedom of speech"? It does not matter which side you are on...it is a matter of civil discourse and the Republicans would have been just as outraged if it happened to them.
the press, who are supposed to be the beacoms of freedom of speech should grow spines and call these people out.
This is the "M.O." of Liberal Democrats, they believe ONE thing and it is this; the American public (you and I) are not intelligent enough to "think for ourselves" thus, we all NEED the elite, super intelligent, and enlightened ones of the Liberal Dems to think for us. We really don't know how to handle our own health care. So for anyone who will not LISTEN to them spew their venom, they "villify", they try to label all who disagree as ignorant , and say we act "stupidly"!
It was "Democracy in Action" when ACORN " is bussed to anything that opposes a Dem plan, but when genuine Americans voice their opposition to the stealing of our country, they are "mean spirited".
I personally do not think the lady in PA or the Veteran who I saw voicing their opposition were "sent" there by any one! But guess what, I think it is HIGH TIME WE ON THE RIGHT GIVE WHAT'S GOOD FOR THE GOOSE BACK TO THE GANDER!
Republicans are furious that the people just might like what the Democrats are trying to do for the people. Of course you know they don't care at all about the middle or lower class people in this Country.
Statements like this will doom the DNC. These are just ordinary, mad as hell, common people standing up for themselves. By calling them some sort of Republican backed extremists mobs who are funded and bused in shows how out of touch the DNC is. And it insults all those who are angry about how Obama and the DNC wanted to cram their version of health care reform down our throats before we had a chance to know what is in it. If Obama had his way, it would be passed already and these town hall meetings would not even be taking place. People are angry, very angry.
The proof was on the news yesterday. I could not beleive what I was watching. Also did you realize how many Republicans have been bought by the insurance company's. OMG when I saw that yesterday as well I was surprised. It makes since why they would want Obama's health plan to fail. Please read everything for yourselves. Do not be fooled. There is one thing I have learned, the republicans care nothing for you or me it is all about themselves and their agenda. No one had to tell me that. I have seen it for myself. As much as people criticize Obama, you cannot say he is doing all of this form himself. Everyday people will benefit and I am all for that.
Every two weeks I feel it when the premiums are taken out for my medical coverage. I would love to use that money some place else. Every year it goes higher and higher. And even then the insurance companies decides what they will or won't pay for. There is nothing wrong with a public option. I fell it is a win win situation.
Big insurance companies have a strangle-hold on Republicans as they keep lining their pockets with your dollars and you get nothing in return. Wakeup people, enough is enough.
Nice how the DNC refers to informed citizens as an angry mob. Anyone who thinks the DNC (Pelosi, Obama, etc.) is looking out for anybody other than themselves clearly lives in a fantasy world.
And actually it won't backfire. Those who vote for this disaster will be out of a job in 2010. The Dems are getting just what they did not want, informed people.
Of course after seeing many of these posts here, you Obamaholics either don't care about the truth or are too dim to think for yourselves.
Oh no hard working people are worried about where there money is being spent and who will be in charge of there health. Its ok when a bunch of 40 drinking liberals do this all the time. Republicans are usually working so we cant do this, but times are changing hippys. Obama is the joke we all new he was, now the democrats are going to lose there seats and are in panic mode. love it
The best way to disguise that you have nothing to say is to shout it. The Republican know that their arguement against healthcare reform rings hollow so they have to shout to put the spotlight on the decible level instead of the substance. The current Republican party is turning into the laughingstock of American history.
"Angry Mobs"?, Maybe... 'Extremists", I don't think so.
Just because a person/s disagree or don't like something, doesn't make them "Extremist".
But if we must be "Extremists", then so be it. Let the Extremism begin.
This health care business is all a bunch of smoke in mirrors. Since when does the needs of the few, outweigh the needs of the many. I thought majority counted for something in a "Democracy". Or are we truly no longer a democracy. Especially after the dems comment saying they will pass health care with or without the repubs or american peoples consent.
Sue of Seattle thinks the GOP cannot survive if Obama is successful. Funny, but the GOP is gaining members while the Democrats are losing them as the radical left-wing agenda of the Obama/Pelosi/Reid triumvirate becomes clear.
All we need is a few more Dems like Congressman Bishop to tell a veteran who had to wait two months to see a doctor at a VA hospital that the VA medical system is an example of successful government run health-care.
It's about time that someone began to talk back to these ill-informed, Fox News groupies. The Republican party has been in charge of congress for 14 of the last 16 years, in charge of the overall administration for the last 8 and have not made any effort to address this issue. They frightened the public the last time that health care changes were suggested and they're doing so again. The incessant screaming of socialism is scaring people and, as far as I know, they have not presented any viable plan of their own. I might also add that our interstate, state and local highways, police, fire and safety forces and our entire educational system are all products of what the Republicans call socialism.
How soon we forget what they put before us the last 8 years: Mission Accomplished, Social Security will be better off if we put the funds into the stack market, Saddam Hussein and 9/11, "You're doin' a great job Brownie" etc., etc., etc... The people that are putting up roadblocks to real progress in this country had better be careful. You're putting all of us at risk and none of us are getting any younger!
72% of Americans WANT a public (government) health insurance option as a choice. The majority of US citizens very intentionally elected representatives and a president who could make a significant change like this happen.
There is strong evidence that these right wing people who don't want to listen and debate, but rather shout and mislead the general public were all given the talking points by Dick Army's right wing political lobbying group..The truth will always win out..Don't be fools people..Do your homework..Learn the truth..
Republicans are not protesting they are revolting. Unfortunatly for them they do not represent the majority of people in this country. Thank you God!
They should let me lead the DNC. They would become infinitely more effective and they would save money and paper by not paying attention to the RNC/GOP.
I don't know why we even bother with those people. They are ever increasingly irrelevant...IRRELEVANT I SAY!!!
They are in the midst of a self destruction. They have pushed a way the latino community with the Sotomayor pick and they aren't even trying to pick up moderates or independents. In fact, they are beligerently pushing those guys out of the party. Don't worry about conservatives or The Right
We have all seen the video evidence of the racist idiots at Palin and McCain rallies last fall. I have seen some of the town hall videos.
The president won by a large majority of the vote.
We, the people have voted for heath care reform.
We, the people, have won.
Roger from CA – there is proof that lobbyist are the ones behind these senseless rallies. They are hidden because, of course, the repugs don't want to show their hand, but Rachel Maddow (MSNBC) had plenty of proof last night on her show.
It's disgusting how log these repugs will go so that Obama (and the US) fails. They still can't get over being beaten last November.
The only thing missing is that witch inciting the crowds with chants of kill him and the C Street Family watching from the back.
We are all Americans. These people should purchase a one way ticket to China or North Korea!!!!
I love nothing more than to see folks on here make statements such as, "majority of Americans think this.....". You don't have a clue what you are talking about and you lose all credibility speaking for anyone but yourself. It's also ridiculous to quote any CNN Poll. These polls are conducted with less than a thousand people and those thousand don't represent the rest of the millions. I agree that this bill needs some rework, but to put it away altogether would be destructive to our Nation. I have employer provided Healthcare and I am fine. A friend of mine, single male 26yrs of age, has no Health Care. He recently needed some medical attention and the bill was 26K. He is unemployed and the hospital is not interested in waiting for payment. They refused a payment plan even. Oh, did I mention he is unemployed due to layoffs? Get a grip folks, this is a very serious issue that deserves responsible adults discussing the options. Sending in anyone to disrupt democracy does not equal democracy. It doesn't make it okay simply because you can compare it to something someone else did. It does not matter what side you are on, this is serious and will destroy this country if not fixed.
If in fact these people are truly just your average American voters, and not sent by lobby groups, is there a reason they can't have an honest debate? Listen to one side's view, then calmly express their own? Why do they have to shout over the speakers who are trying to discuss such an importnat issue?
Anybody who believes that these town hall meetings are scripted and set up also believes there wont be a middle class tax increase!! What a bunch of gullible fools.
Leave it to the DNC to accuse others of "fear mongering"....they have used this as their standard tactic since before Bill. What the DNC needs is a group of statesmen (women) to provide true leadership in the party – not Pelosi, Ried, Frank, Chuckie, Charlie and the other clowns in Washington today.
Why are we not having a discussion about the attack on personal freedom that the DNC is truely engaged in?
BTW – i am a registered democrate. Like Zell Miller said – the party left me a long time ago.....
