Superb!!! I am so proud of the way our president is focusing on the true issues that affect the lives of millions, issues like health care. It will cost money? Yes. Not everbody will be happy? Yes. But in the end, I am glad that finally the White House and some gutsy democratics are facing off insurance providers, pharmaceutical companies and lobbysts in an attempt to solve a decades old problem.

I give him a B. He is not giving enough guidance for Congress to converge on a bill. He is too busy playing "Ifits a good bill its mine, if not its Congress's bill". Lead man!

Why am I not surprised that for the most part, it's either graded an "A" or an "F"?

  6. Grade A+

Grade A+. Obama is trying to do something, which the Bush administration did not. Also, all Republicans still want to do is shut down anyone who tries to do anything. Republicans need to submit a plan to improve healthcare, or just stay out the way.

Obama – B; Congressional Democrats – D because they aren't doing what we elected them to do; Congressional Republi-Klans – F because instead of having the interest of the American people at heart, they have their own interests at heart. Oh wait . . . do Republi-Klans actually have hearts? Hmmmmm . . . good question.

Give Obama an A+ for having the guts to start the process of health care reform. He will be fighting an uphill battle, especially with all the lies and fabrications the Republicans are cooking up. But he is not one to give up when the going gets rough and he will continue to work toward this important goal. Someday our grandchildren will be thanking him for the decent health care they will have compared to what most of us have now.

It is very disappointing that this administration has been so stunningly partisan, free spending, and with little or no thought of how disastrous the deficit will be on our future; and not just our long term future. Borrowing destroys the value of the dollar, and paying the interest takes money out of our economy; taxes also take money out of the economy. Only for those who believe the government knows better how to spend our money than we do can be gushing over how wonderful everything is going.

I give the President an A+ for smooth delivery. I give him an F for his Health Care Program. While destroying the Health Care of most Americans (read the Democratic House Bill), he is redistributing the Health Care Program as we will all have lousy insurance. If Congress is not willing to participate in his Health Care Program, why should the rest of us participate. By the way, I am a registered Democrat.

I'd say he gets and A for effort and attempt to compromise in moving issues forward. B for accomplishments to date. Time will tell, but at least he's trying to move in a positive direction. Guess that's a b+ so far.
