Huckabee compares his obesity to Obama's spending

Former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee compares his past weight problem to President Obama's economic policies.

Former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee compares his past weight problem to President Obama's economic policies.

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee compares his past weight problem to President Obama's economic policies in a pitch Wednesday for a financial newsletter.

Huckabee, a former Arkansas governor who failed to win the 2008 Republican presidential nomination, charges that the president "is devouring the entire free-enterprise system" and lists Obama's decision to bail out the auto and banking industries as mistakes. The pitch for "Successful Investing" was sent out to readers of the conservative publication Human Events.

Read an excerpt of Huckabee's e-mail after the jump:

President "Obama the Hungry" makes King Henry VIII look like a compulsive dieter!

I know something about overeating. It can kill you. Back when I was governor of Arkansas, I was so overweight I developed Type II diabetes. Doctors told me to lay down the knife and fork - or else. That scared me. I cut the calories and lost 110 pounds. Only then did I regain my health.

Does bloat scare Obama? Heck no. He's hungry for more! Fresh from gulping down $800 billion of our money to load up his Washington smorgasbord, he's planning yet another massive banquet. Obama wants to belly up to the table and swallow the best health care system in the world. And you and I will pay the tab for this gargantuan pig-out!

It is probably safe to say that Huckabee, who now hosts a show on Fox News Channel, won't be invited to the White House for dinner anytime soon.

Mike Huckabee just lose his marble.
Stupid comment, no wonder he failed to get into the Whitehorse.

Why Republicans Say No to Everything?

    – “NO” to healthcare because they are in bed with big insurance company. These are major campaign contributors
    – “NO” to green energy because they are in bed with a big oils company. These are major campaign contributors
    – “NO” to tax cut for higher bracket earning ($250K and up). These are major campaign contributors
    – “NO” to rebuilding America because they lose out on major campaign contributors
    – YES to Wars, – many Contractors and Big Corporate are major campaign contributors
    – YES to lobbyists – They are major campaign contributors

Huckabee's obesity is caused by dirty money from Fox!!. Its amazing how this guys think! one day they are tanking the economy the second day they are crying the economy has tanked. GOP, RNC is full of hypocrites who use the poor white while they pursue their evil schemes pocketing money from pharmaceuticals and insurance companies. Obama have achieved more in 200 days than what GOP achieved in 2,920.

On the health reform, American people do not want to pay for the 20m illegals and cut benefits for Medicare receipients.

May God have mercy on each one of us and on Huckabee's misguided religious denomination!!

The best healthcare system in the world? One of the best yes. Not the best. There's a big difference.

Even Obama supporters have to agree that the level of spending is beyond anything this country has ever known. I mean it's a fact, so it's not even a question of opinion anymore. Joe Biden is his sidekick and even he has to admit that. Now can any one of you supporters point to any results that suggest this spending has any chance of success? Where are the jobs? Where is unemployment? How much did that $50 billion help the auto industry? Do you ever expect to see results? When?

Oh my, today the Republicans have come out swinging with excellent ideas to America's issues.

I am sooooo proud of the Republicans. Let's count how many ideas and solutions they came up with today.

Oh wow, too many. Ideas and solutions just pour out of them. Thank them everyday, beacuse they are so insightful. Thank them for their magnificent solutions for the past eight years.

Republicans: bringing solutions and creative ideas to our nations problems every single day, and by the truck load!

It is very sad the all these men that come out against this President are white men. They are so mad that a black man is running the white house that it is driving these white men nuts. None of them have any thing to say positive about this President and they wonder why their party will never win over any black voters are lations voters. We do not want to be part of a party that hate us.
