First on the Ticker: RNC Web video targets 'White House in denial'

WASHINGTON (CNN) - On the eve of President Obama's 200th day in office, The Republican National Committee is releasing a Web video that calls his presidency "a failed experiment" that features "desperate photo-ops [and] a White House in denial."

"200 days," says the narrator in the minute-long spot. "It started. Star Studded. High hopes. All smiles. Photo ops and reassurances. Even an official White House photo for the first pup. With an economy at a crossroads, his experiment started."

The ad points to government bailouts, the stimulus package and deficit spending. "He promised to create or save millions of jobs. But unemployment is up, month after month. Press conference, after press conference. The TV ratings decline. His approval ratings decline. Desperate photo-ops. A White House in denial. Now we face his most dangerous experiment of all: Government takeover of health care An experiment that will cost over one trillion dollars, threaten your private insurance and cost taxpayers hundreds of billions in new taxes."

"The presidency of Barack Obama. A failed experiment in just 200 days."

The spot comes hours after the release of a DNC video that accused Republicans of "inciting mobs" to swarm Democratic town hall

I feel sorry for the GOP, they have shown themselves to be sad and extremely pathetic, Im ashamed that I was as member of the party. BO is not the boogey man they are trying to make him out to be. I notice that the GOP talking heads love to cater to the mis-informed and stupid.. a

I dont know why everybody keeps referencing the last 8 yrs when Bush was re-elected after 4 yrs. So why would you keep saying 8 years?? it was obvious the American people wanted him in again. Why do you liberals blame Bush for all our country's problems when Democrats have controlled congress for the past 3 years and have done NOTHING !

Obama 200 days= Bush 8 years!. plundering the economy. The republicans traded in long term gains for short term profits moreover, they broke long term relationship with other Nations for short term immediate needs " You are either with us or our enemy" other Nations choose the later. Got stuck in an un-necessary war pumping $70 billion and killing over 4000 brave souls. If I was a republican I could have moved to the Southern States and never leave.

I hope the republicans stick it to the democrats in 2010 and they loose half there seats and Nobama gets nothing. enough spending already. bill clinton did it and it caught up with us in 8 years and they blame President Bush, eight years from now they'll be blaming obama, but for now he is skating on ice. thin ice, he probably will win in 2012 but i wouldn't count on it. let only the black people vote for him and let's see if he wins.

Well, you have to admit, George W. Bush DID do a lot better in HIS first 200 days. Up to 9/11, he was on vacation 42% of the time. Of course, there were a fair number of photo ops for him in that time, as well. The nation appeared to be fascinated that he could cut all that brush without doing bodily harm....

The party of "No & Don't Know" is at it again with their hate-filled attitude; and I'm not saying that it's each and every republican, but it seems the angry ones are turning that party into one big klan organization. Yesterday I was reading about Sarah"the quitter who loves to twitter" Palin having some NRA rally that was closed to the media and to the public. I feel that the FBI should be looking into this. Ronald Reagan and Abe Lincoln are probably turning over in their graves on this manure avalanche of TODAY'S RepubliCAN'T Party.

The Conservatives are desparate and pathethic. After Bush first term, I did not see the Conservatives, asking for Bush to step down. And I want to see proof of Europe and Canada Healthcare Program, being a complete failure. You can have insurance aleady in the United States and have to wait on surgery or an organ. You can have insurance already and spend 8 hours in Emergency room. When I had a bacteria affection with severe pain, it took them 8 hours to admit me into a room.

You know what republicans remind me of? Ever see the movie "The Day After Tomorrow"? the guy who plays the Vice President in the movie...who completely acts stubborn, ignorant and is in denial...which led to millions of americans killed, and only when he was proven wrong did he realize his ignorance....these are the type of people republicans remind me of!

    Definition of a FAILURE:
    Economy getting better
Jobs, including mine, were SAVED in my state by the thousands
Even before the "clunkers" rose, car sales were better
Housing market is beginning to BOOM!!
Lower prices in stores which encourages more shopping!
    War in Iraq ENDING!
Is there MORE – Yes it is and this is why the REPUBS are panicking. Their goal is to "destroy' everything President Obama attempts to do!!!

    Definition of a WINNER!
"THE PARTY OF NO" that knows nothing – do nothing –
and they are winning within their own "PARTY OF NO"!!!

    PA-LEEEEEZ!!!! Give me a BREAK!!!

Like the tobacco companies, "doubt" is their product. The republicans may be a small minority in congress, but too large of a roadblock to plow over. They do all this in the name of patriotism, which as we know, is the last refuge of a scoundral. Further more the republican communist party has the guall to call Obama and the democrats socialists. United we stand and devided we fall. Republicans you had your eight years, now shut up.

Note : I am an independant

    1) Who started the bail-outs? Hank Paulson, a Republican under GW.
    2) Why did we need bail-outs? Because the economy faltered under their watch.

Now these hypocrites point their fingers and blame others for the damage they've done. These incompetent amateurs are of the worst kind.

    Truly a party of fascists

I am not a Republican or have I ever attended a Tea Party or Demonstration. What I am is very angry about the so called Health care reform bill being foisted on us by Obama and the Democrats.
I am very angry that Obama and the Democrats are stirring up the hate and dividing the country because people are using their right to speak out against a bad bill that will lead to huge Medicare cuts and higher taxes for every one. Do they really thing we are that stupid? This approach will only back fire on them and the election in 2010 will prove it.

According to Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, 17 representatives and senators are known to currently be under investigation for breaking ethical standards. Of those under investigation, 13 are Democratic members and four are Republican members.

It has been a sorry string of desperate crazy decisions since January 20th with no basis in experience or previous success. Consider all of the major expenditures...Wall Street bailouts, Automaker bailouts, Stimulus bill...where are the results? Where are all of these new jobs and companies saved from bankruptcy? Are there any results that remotely suggest we should trust this crew to now launch into a major expensive delve into government health care? Only results that say slam on the brakes! This is going to be just another assault on what's left of the US economy.

Why would you refer to Obama being elected POTUS as an EXPERIMENT????

Did we refer to Clinton's Presidency as an experiment? Reagan? Bush Part 1 & 2 as an experiment?

So why is this presidents' presidency being refered to as an experiment? An experiment in what......?Tolerance? Color-blindness? Justice? High morals? Intelligence? Saying no to big-business bribes? WHAT????!

President Obama has been in office for 6 months. Those in denial are the Republicans, the party of NO whose only agenda is for him to fail. Unfortunately these people want the whole country to fail. TRAITORS !

What exactly is the "experiment"? Hiring a thoughtful, deliberate intelligent candidate to fix the worst economic crisis in a generation? Or is it code for electing a minority as this country's President?

The RNC has turned out to be a great disappointment. There was a time when they lost, they would keep on keeping on. Now, they act like deposed rulers. Get a clue. You really don't have a God-given right to rule America. You are sick, sick, sick!

They don't know what to do or say anymore. They are beyond confused. It's no wonder they keep "talking" all these gibberish. Republicans are ALL talk and chaos, but NO SOLUTIONS.
