Opinion: RNC Chairman Michael Steele on Obama

(CNN) - Friday marks President Obama's 200th day in office, and in most respects, his second hundred days as president have been worse than the first 100.

Obama campaigned on bringing "change" to America, and during his first 200 days as president, his real definition of change is becoming absolutely clear to Americans.

Why isn't CNN reporting that Eric Cantor and the 24 other republicans with him are in Israel contradicting the Obama administration stand on Jewish expansion onto Arab lands, They are supporting the Jewish eviction of an Arab family that has been criticized both by the European Union and Secretary of State Hilary Clinton.

This is a form of treason and you post a bog by Michael Steele when you had him on blithering away yesterday!! What a crock CNN has become.

Who cares what Michael Steele thinks? Rush runs the party and Steele is just a posterboy for the RNC to try and get the black vote. They are destined to fail.

How is he able to accomplish much when the Republicans tell so many lies, half-truths and mislead the American people? When I hear the lies being told about the Canadian health care system, I just cringe. If only the American people would do some research themselves and find out the truth. Even that Canadian woman who they have in those ads.....dig a little deeper and you will find out that lobbyists are behind them. It seems easier to believe lies than the truth.

Michael there are two things that are very clear to me, you have not yet realized that he is trying to clean up 8 years of your MESS, BIG MESS and he can't do it in 200 or 300 days another thing that is very clear to me is you are JEALOUS of him because you can't and will never be able to go as far as he has went, so take your hateration and tell it to some one that cares and for your information it is not the African American Community, K.

I would have bveen shocked if you had said anything else. I have ccome to the conclusion that Republicans hare pathalogically incapable of agreeing with anyone but themselves, and half the time not even that. Thanks for being so utterly predictable.

    Well, Mr. Steele,
It is tough to change anything for the better when the opposition party is constantly inciting fear, anger, and confusion among Americans. Had the Republicans MEANT that they would work together with Obama, the country would be further along in the recovery. Since you choose to fight every effort by Dems, malign the President and Dems at every opportunity, and yet have no positive alternatives to offer, what exactly did you think would happen to the country? I remember, you want Obama to fail so you guys can wag your fingers at us and say "told you so." I doubt that will win you many seats in 2010!

Yes. It IS clear, Mr. Steele. He's doing alright. We have no problems with this President. Nice try, though. Speak for the GOP. The rest of the country is just fine.

" Friday marks President Obama's 200th day in office, and in most respects, his second hundred days as president have been worse than the first 100."

But by comparison to ANY republican, his worst days are still three thousand times better then their best day. Then again, what do you expect when your party hasn't had an original thought, a smart leader, or even a decent solution since Lincoln died.

You must remember that President Obama started off way with a lot of issues and ground to cover. As long as he is willing to try to make things better for this country, he has my vote of confidence.
