Opinion: RNC Chairman Michael Steele on Obama

(CNN) - Friday marks President Obama's 200th day in office, and in most respects, his second hundred days as president have been worse than the first 100.

Obama campaigned on bringing "change" to America, and during his first 200 days as president, his real definition of change is becoming absolutely clear to Americans.

Mr.Steel, you still can't realize that the republican party is using for the same reason Mccain use Sarah palin. They try to use Sarah to get the woman votes, they failed, and now they're using you in a hope to conquer blacks' votes in the next election and I assure you they will fail again even harder. As prejudice and discriminative as the republicans are, do you think they enjoy having you at the head of their party? Wake up stupid moron. Just enjoy your position and shut your mouth.

Rome was not built in a day, especially when it took 8 years for the Republicans to throw this country into the worst financial shape it's ever been since its founding. I know Steele is a loud-mouth wanna-be and the GOP is glad to have him as their Dr. NO mouthpiece. Guess what, GOP: The economy is already beginning to show some signs of stabilization and even recovery in certain areas. All in a little over six months! That's incredibly fast considering the fact that you and your GOP SOB's screwed up everything and turned a surplus into a mountain of debt. Zip it man; I mean, shut up for good already.

"Obama's worst day to date, is by far and beyond better then any republicans best day ever."

Well said. Republicans seem to care more about the next election than helping Americans right now. Obama was elected President by the American people, and the Republicans want to stand in Obamas way. Thus, the Republicans are standing in the way of Americans, generally speaking. When will Republicans get a clue?

Hey! All I'm trying to do is tell you your shills are posting to a non-existent article. Why do you keep deleting my comments telling you about it? If you can't take the heat, get your head out of the oven.

President Obama rocks! He could have found the cure for cancer and acheived World Peace in his first 200 days and the GOP would find a way to criticize him for it.

The economy is stabelizing, housing is improving, Cash for Clunkers is a total success, the rest of the world looks upon us more favorable since he took office, he signed the Lilly Ledbetter Act guaranteeing equal pay for women doing the same job, got the first Latina Supreme Court Justice confirmed, and he is working at getting a heath care bill passed. I think he has done a wonderful job and has accomplished more positive things in 200 days than GW Bush did in 8 years. Pres. Obama is actually keeping many of his campaign promises! Something the GOP does not understand. The Republicans are irrelevant.

I see that my old 'friend' TCM is on here. I knew you would be. President has done and is doing a fine job. Just admit it, you are a Repub therefore you hate. Michael Steele is ridiculous. If Barrack Obama had not come on the scene, Michael Steele would still be picking and scratching around the edges of the RNC trying to get noticed. I cannot take anything Steele or the Obama haters seriously.

I have to say kudos to CNN for putting Mr. Steele's commentary on it's website. Finally a breath of fresh air....keep it up and maybe CNN's cable ratings might go up. You've got a long way to go though, because FOX is still #1 with total viewers that beat out CNN and MSNBC's viewers combined. I try to watch both, unlike a lot of these angry Dems that only get one-sided info and are just shocked and outraged if it's not mainstream.

Mr. Steele, you are a vicious sellout, and your unethical party has been fighting President Obama's agenda, which is to help the greater good – so that you and your cronies can maintain the status quo of privilege and greed.

You should be ashamed of yourself, but ignorant sellouts usually are not.

Michael Steele has no class, no credibility, no backer and most of all no real backbone. This puppet says whatever fat boy rush and cheney tell him. He really is a disgrace to african americans not because he is a republician, but because he is spineless.

Michael Steele is a non entity. He has damaged the Republican Party more than helping it. The changes that President Obama have implemented have been very positive. He has the monumental task of undoing all the harm that has been done to this country by the Bush administration, Republicans in Congress, Rush Limbaugh and his big mouth buddies. I support him in his efforts.

I think Obama has great courage in still sticking with his agenda, even though might have to compromise on health care reform. Every comtempary president has gone through low approval rating. I would rather see a one term president and do something in long run that will greatly benifit this country, than two term president that has not change this country in the right direction. Steele is coward and politcal soldier for his party and offering nothing substantial to help this country progess. Its really ashamed that our country is so divided and our two party system is so polorizing. For the GOP this has do trying to get back in power and nothing more.

Mr. Steele you are a token houseboy in the truest sense of the word. You know it, and so do your little "pals". Do not even think of putting yourelf on the same level as our President (and yours by the way). You could'nt reach his ankles. Where Barack promotes inclusion, and dialogue; where he makes people aspire to be all that they can be You bring nothing to the picnic but a pack of rabid, jealous, bigoted dogs.

Our sons went to school together. Did'nt care for you when I met you. Certainly can't stand you now. Ever hear the expression "not every brother is a brother?" No? Have a real Black man break it down for you.
