(CNN) - Sarah Palin, who has kept a relatively low profile immediately after stepping down as Alaska governor, stepped back into the limelight with a visit to the media capital of the country.

The former Republican vice presidential candidate - in town to meet with the publisher of her upcoming book - dined Tuesday night at New York's storied media haven, Michael's Restaurant, with a group that included husband Todd and attorney Bob Barnett. The party - which arrived without a reservation, according to Michael's Manager Danny DiVella - requested a table in the front of the restaurant. A crowd gathered outside to catch a glimpse of the group through the window.

This morning, a jeans-clad Palin was spotted on 5th Avenue and 55th Street with her husband and daughter Piper, carrying her baby son Trigg. There has been no announcement of when her next public appearance may be.

Palin's first public post-resignation comments came at a National Rifle Association event in Anchorage over the weekend which did not include reporters.

Palin is nothing but a bigot, liar and traitor. She contradicts herself monthly, shifting position on an issue in an effort to always oppose anything Democrats suggest. She would probably demand terrorists attack this country if Democrats suggested stopping them or demand we let her own house burn down if Democrats suggested putting out the fire.

She is the worst of all politicians, with no conscience, sense of duty to the electorate or this country. She deliberately whipped up racial hatred against the only valid Presidential nomination on the ballot, smiling and agreeing as her supporters suggested attacking Obama or worse.

And I have never seen her birth certificate, nor that of McCaine, so I don't believe either is even a US citizen, let alone one born in this country.

CNN.................you are becoming so much the NEW Fox that you have posted this story TWICE !!!!! I could care less if she went to Disneyland.......as most folks. Now if you showed her in a thong.......thats news. Especially important to most of the white GOP males. You know the ones that thought by putting her on the ticket that she would attract Hillary Backers. Will her new book have lots of pictures ???? Ask her what she would do with her DOWNS baby if she did not have health insurance from the state of Alaska. Ask her how she and Todd would have been able to support the health needs on a mayors salary ??? NOW THAT'S NEWS.

What is the fascination with this failed Governor who is a fringe right wing nut case? You folks are so enamored of her that you post two stories almost back to back?

Or do you do this just to fire up the majority of honest to god real republicans who think that the current group is just a right wing caretaker group who eventually will fall out of favor and allow the party to return to its Reagan roots?

For someone who blames the media for everything bad that happens to her, she sure seems to love the spotlight.

But you left out that she also meet with her ghost writer and the team of political hacks who are going to write the upcoming work of fiction that is to be loosely based on her experiences?

Yes she quit the job of governo and pursued the elite life. She sees it more fun to be in the class of Cindy McCain, which she's not, however Sarah want money and lots of it. Poor people in Alaska she has forgotten about you all. You bet cha.

Thank goodness she has more time to spend with her family now.
    Newborn child and all.
And her daughter having a baby as well.
And at least she's staying close to home.
Or at least on the same coast.
Well, at least her husband can stay home and take care of the family.
And now she can keep a low profile.
    Because that media is evil.

    AM I TAKING CRAZY PILLS?

All you liberals blaming our current problems on the Bush administration are, once again, IGNORANT. You have no intelligence when it comes to economics, free market dynamics, and most of all capitalism. So..I really don't expect you to understand HOW we got here, and WHY your radical president is not only making it worse, but he is doing so by deceptive means with EVIL intentions.

"When the Antichrist comes onto the scene, there will ultimately be no doubt about his identity. His deeds and doctrine will eventually expose him to the world. Many people will come along in the spirit of antichrist. But there will come a day when one world leader will rise to power who will be the embodiment of evil, one who is empowered and directed by the devil himself. The Beast first appears as a political leader .... "
