God Bless President Obama and his team!! they have shown time and time again they are capable of putting America back where she belongs TOP. Only beware of those institutions headed by Republicans they can sabotage the market in anyway possible to make Obamas presidency a failure!. Otherwise the public is with you except the tea party goers who didn't and can't vote for you. Implement the healthcare reforms and if the Red States don't like it! let them pull out of medicare!, let them stop using 911 because they are social programs. Hipocracy of GOP beats any logic, even when the market shows signs of recovery they can't admit it!

He is so smart. I am happy I voted for him. It's kind of hard not to like him. Thanks to cash for clunkers which was his idea car sales are backup. Thanks to his housing bill; foreclosures are declining and new home sales are up.

The RepubliKKKans want America to fail, or just plain quit. Sort of like Palin and Martinez...

In a little over six months into this administration, Mr Obama has taken on the most difficult issues facing this nation (an economic perfect storm, two wars) in over 70 years. He also has taken on big oil special interest with his green initiatives as well as the health insurance lobbying monstrosity for fiscal as well as moral reasons.

I think the man deserves credit for any good news, face it republicans your are in big trouble at the polls as America continually rebounds from this mess you people left us in.

YBN: Is that the best you've got?? Interesting from someone who does not even post his own name....sort of how Zero lives up to his name whenever I come on here and accidently read his posts!!

Keep it up, President Obama! You have already proven the bogus, uncsientic CNN poll to be a joke!!

One report showing a SLIGHT improvement in jobs does not a trend make.

And to the genius (Deborah Black) who wrote:
"Actually, the numbers are much lower, because all the high school and college kids that flooded the job market last month, creating a false spike in unemployement, are heading back to school. Next month will be even better and then what will the hateful say?"

Are you thick or what? Summer jobs held by kids caused the rise in unemployment? I can't stop laughing at that comment.

Any summer job that a high school kid held is most likely a seasonal job that is not going to be filled once they leave. And I seriously doubt it paid enough for any one to be financially stable.

The Republicans are going to have to decide whether they are going to work for the common good and make profitable comments and amendments or become the party of regresssion. WASP arre going to have to accept the fact that blacks, latinos, asians and others are here and are going to stay. As they themselves have said, "If you do not love it leave it....." America is about diversity and this President will lead us into the 21st Century and a new era of prosperity, equality, and justice for all.

Obama recovers the economy based on the wrong foundation: huge debts.

Even if the economy can recover, it's just a matter of time when it will collapse even much deeper.

    Anna, Anna, Anna . . .

Calm down, you are yelling again. Take a deep breath, and thank God that McCain/Palin were soundly thrashed by a Black American born Christian in the presidential election. The stock market is up 1200 points since Obama was sworn in, we all got tax relief, the jobless rate will stabilize in the next six months, and it appears we are no longer 'cratering' on the brink of a depression. Our journalists are back from North Korea and a Taliban leader has been eliminated. Thanks be to God, for giving us an intelligent president after eight years of cowboy diplomacy.

Today came proof Barack Obama is the antichrist. It is basically what his name means in old Hebrew.

I hate to disappoint you but President Obama's heritage is African. And different cultures have the same words or names with different meanings. Nice try though. Have a nice day. Don't forget to go to church.

2 in our family laid off – one now has job – we are half way there – and hopeful!! Get the health care reform passed and forget all the devils out there distorting the truth and scaring the not so educated population 🙂

DJB – You are looking through fogged-up glasses. What is going on is not good for economy, our children's future, or our health care. Why do you think so many have said "ENOUGH".

Anna from MS: You are certainly not educated. You are a moron who, in any other country, would probably be beheaded by the way you speak about the POTUS. Thinking about it, you're empty-headed anyway, so you wouldn't miss much...just a place to put your dunce cap. Wow...your ignorance is astounding.

you have no evidence Mr. Mike, and I welcome evidence from you

I think you should write more back up and quit being so flippant with your comments

no signs point to the wrong direction, some are positive, and certainly better than when nightmare Bush was in office and we had a freefalling economy

It is stabilizing, if slowly from what I can see, employment numbers, housing prices and otherwise

All of you who only see gloom and doom and what this country to fail...I hear they have great accommodations waiting for you in either North Korea or Iran. As the son of a verteran, you sicken me by your hatred of our country's leader. The men and women who died so you can spew your vicious hatred and lies thank you for your support of democracy in action.

Now tell us the truth, Mr. Obama. How much of this "right direction"
is happening because of the growth in government jobs? Jobs
that didn't exist before you took office?

And the debt still grows and grows and taxing the top 10 percent 100 percent will not be enough to pay for all the spending Obama has done.

Bush didn't come close to this amount of debt.

So being in debt up to our national eyeballs is the new normal?

    OK sure makes 'perfect' sense.

(yeah yeah I know I am just a GOP hack, cept I am not but don't let the truth get in the way isn't that right white house? Gonna demonize me now too?)

Porkulus Bill of $787 Billion was supposed to keep unemployment level to 8% or below, now it is 9.4%. Our Deficit increase by $1.3 TRILLION since he's our President. Sure! our economy is going in the right direction – down at the bottom of the ocean. By around December of this year we would all be hit with HYPER-INFLATION; it doesn't have political affiliation. We are so heavily in debt with China, this administration is so SHAMELESS, Hillary Clinton and Turbo Tim had to go to China to BEG for more loan. This is what's happening now to USA; we've hit the rock bottom, we now resort to BEGGING. I don't know what to say Obambi or what he's thinking; this is the problem when people elect a President like casting their vote for an American Idol.
