Palin has no brain, she says that under Obama's health care that her son would not be given health care because he would be deemed un productive to society and there fore would be rejected care. Excuse me but its the democrats who have created every program that exist today to help those less fortunate or mentally/physically handicaped not her or her party.

Wow. The Democrats in Congress must be really scared if they're pulling out the "I've received death threats" line. It's the classic line in order to avoid coming out and facing their voters. They know that if they do, it will be mobs of people opposing a poorly thought out plan that will destroy the best health care system in the world.

I'm very much looking forward to a Republican majority in the next election when the Ultra-liberals get swept out for ineptitude and the Blue-Dogs realized that it's a fools choice to stand with the Democrat party when it's self-destructing.

If the Democrats TRULY wanted to fix health care, they would create a non-governmental option where people could have a CHOICE to buy in, but make it a self-contained system, no subsidies, and people would have to pay an average cost. It will never happen, because the COST of the plan will be high, like high-risk auto insurance. They have chosen NOT to do this, and it shows that the attempt itself is a lie.

I am afraid of these people, my children and family are afraid of these people and I ask our Government to investigate and find out whose behind these people. We can never be too careful because we will never forget.

How about at the next Town Hall the first person gets up and asks them "How did you get here today?" It seemed a fair question for the auto execs then it is a fair one for US Citizens aka Angry Mob to ask as well. I'm sure they all came on private jets and limos paid for by you and me. Yet they seemed really upset when the car execs did the same thing.

    More Liberal Hypocracy.

For the sake of the people of the USA President Obama should sue liars like Palin and the "Birthers" for slander and libel. Just because somebody has a megaphone doesn't mean they are telling the truth. Palin and the birthers should be held accountable for the deception they are trying to foist on public policy. There are no proposed "death panels" and Obama was born in Hawaii. Mr. President fight back against these attacks although only a simpleton would believe them. Change the tone by holding these liars accountable.

House & Senate democrats.. YOU WORK FOR US, everyday patriotic Americans who do not want your government run health care system. If it is so great, why didn't Kennedy go to Canada for his cancer treatment? If it is so great, why will our Congress and Senators, and our President have a different health care plan? Why when liberals protest, is it exercising first amendment rights, but when concerned Americans do it, it's "astroturf"? Why should Americans who oppose the health care reform plan being shoved down our throats have to provide proof that we are not being "funded" by insurance companies. It's time that true Americans take our country back, we are SILENT NO MORE!!!!

    Anyone else notice??

These townhall meetings were certainly boisterous but NOT violent.... until Obama called on his Union & Acorn thugs.

ANY VIOLENCE deserves to be laid at the feet of Obama.

We support health care reform. The plan will include a public option. The public option will cost about the same as private insurance and there will be no real reason for businesses to move to the public plan. Talk to your doctor about the health care plan. There is a reason the AMA and the nurses support the plan. There is a reason AARP supports the ideas in the plan. It is good for the elderley, it is good for the uninsured and IT DOES NOT cover illegal aliens, unless illegal aliens pay for the plan and risk being identified and deported.

While it is reasonable to think that the "Protesters" at the Town Hall meetings have legitimate questions and/or complaints, there is a LEGITIMATE way of asking those questions and addressing those complaints. The manner is which the meetings are conducted makes one think there is a hidden agenda.

Why when CNN has Rick Scott on to speak against a public option not giving his background?

As he admitted on Rick Sanchez's show last week, he was the head of a company that was founfdguilty of defrauding Medicare and the company was fined 1.7 BILLION dollars.

Surely, this is a key part of his background that viewers need to know in order to decide on the validity of his position.

The only things missing from the tinfoild hat wearing, old geezer mobs that are being ginned up by fear and lies from the GOP and their paid lobbyist thugs are the brown shirts and billy clubs of 1930's Germany.

Remember America, in the 1930's people said the brown shirt thugs were just "exercising their freedom of speech" and dismissed them as harmless, loud mouth cranks and look what that got them.

Speak up Americans, don't let history repeat itself. Call, write or e-mail your elected GOP officials and tell them to STOP their vigilante tactics because you can see through thier hate and fear mongering.

Discourse not mob rule on the health care debate...

These folks disrupting the town halls are old enough to know better. Then they complain the bill is bing rammed through Congress and they don't have time to read it. You have all of Augusts and September to read the baill if you really want too. What they don't realize is that they are being used by the insurance industry fat cats have oursourced their greed and outrage at having to clean up their corruption the price of a box lunch, a bus ride, and rumors designed to scare those who wont find out the facts for themselves. Most of the same "protestor" are people who would benefit from health care reform. The President watched his mother's battle with the insurance industry during her illness, do you really think that he wants anyone to be in this position. For everyone who currently "happy" with their coverage that are at least 2 horror stories, but these good christians could care less about their fellow man and woman just don't touch anything of theirs. Nice attitude.

This week my doughter was on holliday in France.
She went ill and needed medicare. She was hospitalized
for one day and got medicine.
The bill was: 48 US dollars. When she comes home next week
in the Netherlands I send this bill to my healthcareprovider and
get the 48 dollars back. I pay 140 us dollars a month for my healthcare. Children under 18 are free. I can pick my own doctor or hospital. This is normal for years in Europe so I realy can not understand why so many in the USA believes in his old fashion system. Europe and many other countrys are on the lead on healthcare, clean energy and energysaving cars and heating.
Your president is on the right track on so many issues.
    He deserves your support.

It is so importaint all Americans know wat is going on. So please post this comment CNN.
