Isn't it a little early? Guess the Repubs think that they will kill the health bill (they won't) and that in 2010 they will regain some seats (not going to happen, either.) Then they think that Americans will fall in love with Sarah Palin again (gag) and they'll be home free. Good luck with all of that, guys and betcha.

    The GOP is increasingly irrelevant.

As their constituency decreases they bolster the tactics that failed them in the last elect and will fail them in the next and the next. As they continue to kick out moderates and coalesce around the extreme-right winger they become more and more desperate in their selfish need to perpetuate their dwindling political power.

Now the GOP is preying on the STUPID.

They spent big $ to research the slogans that will resonate with STUPID people, and created bold-face lies that healthcare reform is a bad thing, when the only people that will be hurt are by reform are those few reaping the HUGE profits from the health Insurance Industry and the Pharmaceutical companies.

If the current trend for republicans keeps up – you know, their ineffectiveness, and their current hate fueled race baiting, they'll be able to hold their convention in the Walmart parking lot.
