(CNN) - President Obama isn't the only member of his administration planning an island getaway this month.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is slated for a four-day stay in Bermuda this weekend with husband Bill, the Bermuda Sun reports.
According to the paper, it's the first trip back to the island for the famous political couple since a stay in the summer of 1979, before the birth of daughter Chelsea.
The Clintons had even sought to stay in the same cottage they did three decades ago, but the venue was unable to meet their needs.
The Clintons will instead stay at Cambridge Beaches Resort and Spa, a facility where, according to the resort's Web site, room rates can run as high as nearly $2,000 a night.
The famous duo's plans could be hampered by the fast moving Hurricane Bill, a Category 3 storm that is currently on track to pass near the island at the end of the week.
Meanwhile, next week President Obama plans to take his family to Martha's Vineyard, the island off Massachusetts where the Clintons annually vacationed during their years in the White House. Chelsea Clinton is expected to be on the island this weekend
The State Department had no comment on reports of the trip, and a spokeswoman for the resort said there is no reservation for the Clintons this weekend.
"Even if they did [have a reservation], we wouldn't say," she said.

I think it is great that the Obamas are getting away. Truth is, they really haven't stopped working since the Inauguration. One or two days at Camp David is not enough. And Hillary and Bill deserve some time together and relaxing. I might not like everything that President Obama and Secretary Clinton have done, but I certainly cannot say that they haven't been working!
But I can hear the GOP right wingers screaming now...regardless of the fact that President Bush vacationed right through Hurricane Katrina and only bothered to barely fly over on his way back to the White House...or the fact that his monthly vacations to Crawford cost the taxpayers a bundle, what with flying in three planefuls of staff, press, and family each time.

I can just imagine the messages that will be left about this story... my take is that today is Pres. Clinton's birthday... so Happy Birthday Mr. President; the gateaway is probably in part for that... so GOOD FOR THEM to take some time to be with each other... other than that I hope that "Bill" the hurricane stays away fron "Bill" the president.
