(CNN) - President Obama isn't the only member of his administration planning an island getaway this month.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is slated for a four-day stay in Bermuda this weekend with husband Bill, the Bermuda Sun reports.
According to the paper, it's the first trip back to the island for the famous political couple since a stay in the summer of 1979, before the birth of daughter Chelsea.
The Clintons had even sought to stay in the same cottage they did three decades ago, but the venue was unable to meet their needs.
The Clintons will instead stay at Cambridge Beaches Resort and Spa, a facility where, according to the resort's Web site, room rates can run as high as nearly $2,000 a night.
The famous duo's plans could be hampered by the fast moving Hurricane Bill, a Category 3 storm that is currently on track to pass near the island at the end of the week.
Meanwhile, next week President Obama plans to take his family to Martha's Vineyard, the island off Massachusetts where the Clintons annually vacationed during their years in the White House. Chelsea Clinton is expected to be on the island this weekend
The State Department had no comment on reports of the trip, and a spokeswoman for the resort said there is no reservation for the Clintons this weekend.
"Even if they did [have a reservation], we wouldn't say," she said.

hmmm why is this news? This is a personal vacation and should not be covered by the media. I love the Clinton's and I'm glad they are getting some down time but this should not be on CNN! I hope they get to enjoy their mini vacation without the media hounding them at every corner.

Oh well the cat is out of the bag now!!!! Why does the media think we need to hear about people in public office what they do on vacations??? Last time I looked they are still people who do get away now and then............. Just like this morning on msnbc, it was said the first lady had her shorts too short....... DUH!!! VACATION!!! MEANS no meetings ,business etc..... LET THEM RELAX AND HAVE FUN..........

They deserve a four week vacation, not four days. Both of them have work schedules that most human beings could not endure. We should realize how selflessly their time is spent on behalf of our country and its people - and we should hope for their health and well-being to be revitalized.
Bermuda is beautiful. The former President and the Secretary of State will have a nice time.
This is breach of confidentiality by the hotel. Can't people do private things privately anymore? I would cancel my stay at that hotel immediately.
While I agree that this isn't something that everyone needs to know about . . .especially since it's supposed to be a "secret", I must say I find all the comments about the Clinton's "looks" to be pretty darned rude! Don't any of you rude people understand that's what real middle-aged people look like? Jeeesh! Give them just a tiny break, will ya????

I wonder who picked this place. It certainly doesn't sound like Hillary. Are we certain she's even going along on this trip? Has anyone checked on the schedules of the two released journalists?
They deserve it. And why does CNN love to publish "Secret" information? Just yesterday Wolf talked about the buzzing in a top secret facility. Secret is just that.
