Kennedy funeral begins

BOSTON, Massachusetts (CNN) - The body of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy arrived at Boston's Our Lady of Perpetual Help Basilica for his funeral Mass Saturday, carried by a military honor guard through a sea of black umbrellas in the rain.

President Obama will deliver the eulogy at the funeral, according to the program, and former presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Jimmy Carter also came to honor the late legistator known as the lion of the Senate. Obama and Clinton chatted before the funeral began, while Secretary of State Hillary Clinton conversed with Bush.
