Palin's PAC steps up contributions to GOP candidates

Palin has given contributions to a number of Republicans in recent days.

Palin has given contributions to a number of Republicans in recent days.

(CNN) - Sarah Palin's political action committee is handing out cash to some of the most conservative members of Congress, a new report filed with the Federal Elections Commission reveals.

According to the latest disclosure with the FEC, SarahPac has donated to money to Minnesota Rep. Michelle Bachmann, Tennessee Rep. Marsha Blackburn, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch and Senate hopeful Rob Portman of Ohio.

Palin spokeswoman Meghan Stapleton confirms the former Alaska governor's committee did donate $1,000 to each of those Republicans, as well as $2,500 to Virginia gubernatorial hopeful Bob McDonnell, now dealing with fallout from the revelation of a controversial 20-year-old thesis.

The donations come more than a week after SarahPAC was notified by the FEC that it violated federal election law with the donations it gave to Sens. John McCain and Lisa Murkowski earlier this year. Because the PAC had only given money to two candidates, it was only allowed to donate $4,800 to them per election cycle. (The PAC had donated $5,000 and received a refund of $200 from both McCain and Murkowski.)

But with the recent additional donations, the PAC now qualifies as a "multi-candidate PAC" and is allowed to give $10,000 to a candidate per cycle

Sarah Palin is a no-show. She is non-news worthy. She doesn't have a good education. She has nothing of value to say or do. She quit her
"beloved" state as the governor for no reason nor rhyme. Why are we giving her Internet space or news space. She is nothing. She is a Wasila, Alaska housewife.....who has nothing except the money she's being given for ???? who knows?? what shady deals she has fashioned for herself? But why do we care? She is unpopular. She has shown she does not know how to carry a thought to the end of a sentence, let alone a paragraph, and has nothing new to add to the landscape of politics, let alone international politics. She is a paid, walking face. The utlra, ultra conservatives who also believe Limbaugh and Beck listen to her I guess, but they represent what? 2% of the voting public? Leave her alone, hope she goes away, and we'll not have to deal with hiring Tina Fey to do impersonations of a dolt, who hasn't the ideas, vocabulary, or intellect to do anything.

You know what the libs problem is with Sarah Palin,,,,,

she is more like most of us. Blue collar, hard working people. People who have dirt under thier fingernails, do not live in condos and kiss up to corporate bosses. She is what built this country, good work ethic, not afraid to work for a living, actually proud that we work hard and sweat when we do. Not like many of you spoiled little liberals who have had thw world handed to you by your liberal parents. Not taking any responsibilty for anything you do or say.

Gosh liberals are such sexists. Crazy hateful sexists. Palin gets in their craw like old people and taxpayers who honestly believe their tax and spend ways, and their robbing of the taxpayer to pay for the dope smoking, non working Oprah watchers is a righteous thing, like their ban on the first amendment rights for anyone who disagrees with them. Some very sick people these liberals are. Where are the feminists? How can they stand watching a principaled woman being attacked by such a bunch arrogant sexist snobs. Oh yeah, they are still in tears over Teddy Kennedy.

Nice to see the entire democratic party, whatever's going to be left of it, here on the CNN Ticker. Call Palin and Republicans names, keep it up. You sound like spoiled little children, or welfare recipients waiting for your checks from the government. Idolize your messiah while his popularity and poll numbers go down the toilet. Pressure your congressmen to pass a healthcare bill so it can cover illegal aliens, access your tax returns, and bank account information. It's all in the 1,000+ pages if you read it. Didn't Howard Dean admit that Democrats are afraid to take on trial lawyers, so Tort Reform wasn't included?

Further proof that she does not know the laws and does not care. It is disturbing that she is doing this. It indicates that she is planning to run for national office again. She is such an idiot–she makes George Bush look articulate.

I do not understand the fascination the CNN and other media outlets have with Gov. Palin. She is a former governor and VP candidate and now a private citizen. If she is the "air-head" that many have declared then why waste time on her. May be time to "Move-On"

This country is in big trouble and here is one of the primary reasons. Maybe Sarah could donate her large mouth, but then again who wants to pay for something without substance. The interview with Katie Couric keeps flashing in front of my eyes. OMG.....There must be some long-term fishing expedition that we could send her on.

I like a good chuckle at missy's expense, just as much as any lib, but this is just this side of stalking the bimbo.

She is just a private citizen now.

100% sick and tired of the attempts to paint Sarah Palin as the "everyman" (or "everywoman" as the case may be). She's NOT. Mos of us are at least remotely intelligent, educated individuals WHO DO NOT BELIEVE THAT IT IS OK TO FABRICATE LIES FOR POLITICAL ADVANTAGE. You cannot, in any way, shape or form, be an honest person and deny that she lies for political advantage. Her nonsense about socialism was during the 2008 campaigns was just the start. her most recent verbal atrocity was the comment about "death panels," which is so utterly and blatantly untrue that it's only true function was to serve as a litmus test to figure out who in this country is such a nincompoop true-believing tribal moron that they will believe anything and everything she or some other self-serving GOPer says no matter how inane and disproveable it is.

I just don't get the hatred towards Sarah Palin...what did she ever do to these people? None of us know her very well, but she seems down to earth, a hard-worker and maybe to honest? Now I have to admit it did not look good for her to quit being a Governor, but I can tell you, I would not have the money to hire lawyers and fight off and defend myself over all the frivilous lawsuits against her. Whoever files these lawsuits and loses, should pay the bills on both sides. As far as I know, she has been found not guilty and won all the lawsuits filed against her.

Ignorance breeds ignorance. Hate breeds hate. Now we know ignroance invests and even donates to ignorance. I wish there was some way to wipe this woman off the map. But if there were, some other mindless idiot would step forward to lead the masses.

My dog has more of an intellect this this Bible-thumping air head.

Palin will continue to be a joke no matter what she tries to do. She has no future in politics. The most conservative republicans are also the minority in this country and she doesn't have a snowballs chance in you know where of making it. Most people are so over the last 8 years and people like her don't fit in anywhere anymore.
