Palin's PAC steps up contributions to GOP candidates

Palin has given contributions to a number of Republicans in recent days.
Palin has given contributions to a number of Republicans in recent days.

(CNN) - Sarah Palin's political action committee is handing out cash to some of the most conservative members of Congress, a new report filed with the Federal Elections Commission reveals.

According to the latest disclosure with the FEC, SarahPac has donated to money to Minnesota Rep. Michelle Bachmann, Tennessee Rep. Marsha Blackburn, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch and Senate hopeful Rob Portman of Ohio.

Palin spokeswoman Meghan Stapleton confirms the former Alaska governor's committee did donate $1,000 to each of those Republicans, as well as $2,500 to Virginia gubernatorial hopeful Bob McDonnell, now dealing with fallout from the revelation of a controversial 20-year-old thesis.

The donations come more than a week after SarahPAC was notified by the FEC that it violated federal election law with the donations it gave to Sens. John McCain and Lisa Murkowski earlier this year. Because the PAC had only given money to two candidates, it was only allowed to donate $4,800 to them per election cycle. (The PAC had donated $5,000 and received a refund of $200 from both McCain and Murkowski.)

But with the recent additional donations, the PAC now qualifies as a "multi-candidate PAC" and is allowed to give $10,000 to a candidate per cycle

Why do you post every picture of this dimwit with her mouth open, as if she is saying something profound ? Is this supposed to be cute ? Represent intellectualism of some sort ? Something else ? Check your recent Palin posted pics at this site. What are you up to, boys ?

The media's fascination with sarah palin is really an attempt to understand how someone with her ignorance was chosen as the vice presidential candidate for a major political party.

The GOP sees her as still an asset, a pretty face to spout the party line, but that will soon fade. sarah will (finally) be old news by 2012.

  4. Here goes CNN again

When will CNN leave Sarah alone and start reporting news????

Here's the news CNN does NOT want you to see:
-Reid heard exploiting Kennedy's death to pass the health bill.
-Lawmakers caught playing video games during budget debate in CT.
-obama's approval ratings have now fallen to 45%.

But of course, CNN would rather you don't know about those and just focus more on Sarah Palin. This way, the CNN viewers stay uninformed and in the dark. Then, they can manipulate you the audience easier.
Get the news. Read Drudgereport or switch to Fox.

Why can't the press ignore her. My god this moron could have been president. Then look at the mess we would be in. I think palin and gw had the same father or mother. There both idiots, can't complete a sentence or answer an intelligent question. Wake up people. Perhaps when she goes overseas they could kiddnap her. And never let her go.

You better hope she shakes hands with the chinese if it wasn't for the chinese lending us money all the time this country would be in worst shape than it is. Obama sent his man to China a few weeks ago and they laughed at him!

I am a Liberal and a Christian, but do not agree with the interpretation of Christ's teachings by outspoken fundamentalists.

It seems to me these fundamentalists are more concerned with control and power than the tolerant, forgiving, compassionate, accepting, love of Christ.

Every day I am thankful for the First Amendment of our Constitution, which explictly prohibits our government from establishing a state religion, thereby ensuring we are all free to hold our individual religious beliefs.

Sarah Pailin and Dick Cheney epitomize the Ugly American. They are out for themselves, and themselves alone. There is absolutely nothing heroic about them and the USA would be a better place without their constant visibility in the national media. Draft dodgers, and ex-beauty queens whose time, thankfully, has come and gone.

Palin's plain and palpable desparation is very pervasive, particularly in the political playground, when she is attempting to woo a lot of cons and neocons in her party.

CNN can you please dig a little deeper and find out how much money she has in this fund. I didn't know her husband was that wealthy or fishing that good?

Looks like Palin knows who to support.
Palin will be a huge force for conservatives even if she does not run for another office. She can draw in a lot of money from conservatives which she can then distribute around the country to conservative candidates. Great force for change to save America from fisicaly retarted liberals.

George Soros looks to destroy America with drug-legalization, mass immigration from Third-world countries, and short-selling stocks and bonds...but "Sarah Palin is evil". Okay, you people aren't too insane. Nah.

This bimbo leeches from society to support an organization that opposes leeching off of society. If she had any morals and/or ethics, she would do as she says and stop BEGGING for hand outs from the citizens of the USA.

Alas, just another republican that is all talk and no action. A scam artist that thinks her rules should apply to everyone else but is too lacking in character to live up to them herself. The rest of her party is of the same material. Just a bunch of worthless do nothings that are always lying and leeching off of the hard work of others.

The last and only good republican was Lincoln. They haven't had an original thought or success since his passing.

Why can't the press investigate this fool further and find something that is true and force her off the public scene. She is a disgrace and is doing a great diservice to the vast majority of americans

Sarah's got more experience than Obama had and is smarter than both Obama and Biden. Lib's got scared and brought out the heavy artillary–cuts, jokes, names and making "fun" of her looks, dress, glasses and lack of Ivy League education. Her political philosophy is sound and she has strong, deep and wide support among voters who work hard, pay taxes and don't expect to get or give a handout–but are always good for a hand up.; and when it comes to government: Don't Tread on Me! So go ahead-laugh at, make fun and belittle her. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Sarah's gonna be our next President!

We have GOPers wanting Cheney to run for president, Palin speaking in Hong Kong about finances, a governor enforcing Christian fundementalist "family values" through laws, Ohio students 'identifying' liberal professors in a witch hunt-type document, angry white people running around with pitchforks screaming about how much they hate so-and-so or this or that...maybe there really is something to the Mayan calendar saying the world will end in 2012?

Another non story by CNN design to provide a forum for offensive Sarah Palin comments.

Spread the money around Sarah, those Democrats in Congress now have no way of identifying up or down let alone left or right.

Take a good look at to who this PAC is giving money to. While I am not a die hard liberal this list of people scare the devil out of me. Michelle Bachmann of all people! Guess it goes along with the witchcraft that Sarah herself participated in. Wake up people. Let's get this country on the right track and get people in the House and Senate who actually want to work for Americans and stop this cultural war.
