It was amazing how Obama, with his "high tech," administration, could only manage to get his "kid speech," online the day prior to giving it...hmm....I'm sure there were two speeches. He announced well in advance of when he was going to give it, and waited for responses. Since the AMerican public now mistrust him more than any other president, he had to resort to "speech B." By giving an inert, "atta-boy," speech, instead of "speech A," ....he probably feels he got over...nah...we're watching you!

The Trigger option won't work because Insurance Companies will just find a way to manipulate the system.

The ONLY way to really save money is with the Public Option – obviously everyone knows it will work, why else would they be whining about insurance companies being forced out of business?

Frankly as a tax-paying American I could care less about insurance executives losing their multi-million dollar bonuses!

What the pres. is realizing is that "when you try to sell us" it does not sell...
Over hauling an entire system run by humans never create a system with no problem: all people who tried too change the world realized this at the end, but this young pres. is still to learn facts of life!
We need changes here and there but not a big scheme that will "sell us" to the democratic party!

Instead of the continual speculation, why not wait until President Obama addresses Congress with the proposal?

The majority of Americans support health-care reforms to increase competition and extend affordable coverage to those in need.

The final Senate Finance Committee need to pass the same bill as the House Commerce and Energy Committee, which included a reasonable public option with conservative support.

    Health Reforms Now for America!

  5. Randolph Carter, the socialist child indoctrinator

You just know the lobbyists will make sure that the final bill is a big expensive giveaway to the insurance and pharmaceutical industries and will contain no meaningful reform. Have a nice day!
