DNC reports $1 million raised since Obama speech

WASHINGTON (CNN) – President Obama's political team has raised more than a million dollars in the hours since his congressional address, the Democratic National Committee reported Thursday.

Since the president's Wednesday night speech, more than 381,000 people have signed Organizing for America's online letter in support of his health care plan. The DNC also said that $1,087,000 has been donated in that time, even though OFA has yet to send out a dedicated fundraising e-mail.

From who? The hookers just exposed under ACORN? The DNC is a bunch of liars, and their slant of the truth is as bad as CNN's poll data.....This article, along with the rest of the ones posted by the liberal media are vain attempts to look like the majority of Americans want this crap deal of a healthcare deal...not true. Obama and the radicals have totally disregarded the repub healthcare proposal which primarily focuses on tort reform....such corruption in the White House and the DNC

I am going to donate more money to this plan and I have the upper most respect for OUR PRESIDENT: BARAK OBAMA!!!!! I am very upset over this so called Representative calling the US President a Lier and still be in office. The rules say that that is cause for removal (FIRING). The Repubstupins raked Rev. Wright over the grills and he never wished death on anyone, yet they let this preacher wish death on our President and that is a terrorist threat if I've ever heard one. But, the Repubstupins have not said anything about it and won't until the MEDIA makes it known to the public. WHAT SAY YOU-ALL!?

Don't care about the money story but last night we heard that illegals will have to buy their own insurance, right? if that is true that means they have to have money, which means they have to have a job or be on welfare, right? This means they are working in this country ILLEGALLY! Armed with this info, will the government pick them up and sent them home? Then armed with that info, how many illegals do you think are going to line up to purchase health insurance? I am guessing, oh about NONE! Without a mechanism to check citizenship, how will anybody know if folks are illegal? Somebody, please explain that!

Now that ANY position has been articulated, we can get to the business of flushing out the truth.

So far, we can be assured Americans will be required to contribute all they can "afford" to the lifestyles of fat, greedy, rich insurance executives.

One has to ask. How much of that was sandbagged until the speech?????

It seems as that may be the case since they are touting it as some great accomplishment.

All I saw was a man lying thru his teeth with a witch perched over his left sholder grinning. Most notable comment how he would not raise cost without cutting spending. The spending would be for procedures and the like so he was telling us in his used car salesmanship that rationing health care would of course follow.

Fancy that,$1 million raised during a time which economy supposedly in bad shape has prevented Americans from making ends meet. If Americans can donate money to political causes, then they should decry personal greed of others.

Didn't Obama say that the Repubs and Moderate dems in congress were telling "A flat out lie" BEFORE Wilson said "you lie!" So if Wilson said "that is a flat out lie", it would be ok?

Someone post Wilson's website I wan't to donate $100.00 to him!

...only 1 problem with MLK/JFK's statistical and financial quotes:

By the time, HIS "stats" prove to be inaccurate, the American taxpayers will already be legally saddled with the tab for this socialized Universal Healthcare, or is it Health Insurance Reform......but as they say,

"Never let the facts get in the way of a good story"

Who's going to tell those entitlement recipients that the government can no longer pay for their medical bills because the program costs WAY more than expected? Noone.

I'm not surprised, that speech was the best fundraising tool the Democrats could possibly want.

If you didn't like that speech, and some of you didn't, then you probably didn't vote for Obama. That's okay.

Anybody with a Democratic bone in their body thought that was the best speech they have seen a President give in recent history.

I think that's great, I think they should really give much more, money about 900 trillion and then those people could pay for this health insurance and instead of us going in debt even more
