(CNN) – Sarah Palin's speech to investors in China later this month will be closed to the media, organizers of the event confirmed to CNN Monday.

The former Alaska governor is set to address the annual CLSA Investors' Forum September 23, though the group is also declining to reveal the topic of the former GOP vice presidential candidate's closed-door speech.

"We are not disclosing the topic of Sarah Palin's presentation at this point," said Simone Wheeler, head of communications for CLSA.

Wheeler said much of the four-day forum, which includes more than 200 presentations, is closed to the media except for a handful of keynote addresses where the speakers have specifically allowed members of the press to be invited.

Palin, whose lack of foreign policy credentials was criticized by Democrats during the 2008 campaign, apparently was not among those speakers willing to grant members of the media access to her speech.

"For keynote presentations, it is the speaker's decision as to whether or not their sessions are closed. Several of our keynotes this year are not open to media," Wheeler said.

There has been speculation Palin could receive upwards of six figures on the speaking circuit, though the organization is remaining tight-lipped on that matter.

"We never disclose if, or how much, our speakers are remunerated," Wheeler said.

Its because she doesn't want people to see how stupid she really is.

Imagine this: A Democrat is being paid six figures to talk to the Chinese, and the event will be closed to the media.

We all know that the same people who are so eagerly chanting "Go Sarah!" would be the first to condemn said hypothetical Democrat.

    Ahhhh...the beginnings of "Let's Make a Deal....Sarah Style?"

Sure she'll speak and/or "help" if the money's good enough...AND the Press is kept away.

As usual, CNN won't let a day go by without some reference to this has-been who never was. Can't we move on already and just quit talking about her?

I guess poor Sarah doesn't want to be photographed palling around with communists. I wonder if they'll issue tin foil hats at the door or if people will need to bring their own. It should be a hoot.

The CLSA scheduled her to get a bunch of dumb American investors that would show up, JUST because Palin was there. They throw her a bone and she reels in the big suckers for them to bleed dry.

Just goes to show what she will do for that almighty dollar; throw her own gullible followers under the bus.

There really is no other logical reason for her to be there.

That's too bad, we are all being kept from having a good laugh! What this woman knows about the world economy can be put on a pinhead. This woman is always good for laughs.

Here's the opening line from her speech:

"Hello, I am so happy to be here in the great city of Hong, which is the capital of Kong."

Sarah Palin and her "followers" are nothing but fools and will eventually be the demise of our country.

Palin would do a much better job as president than the doofus we are stuck with. And if I was Palin, I wouldn't let the media cover anything I did based on their incompetent, biased reporting.

Next stop: Tokyo! She'll fit in nicely on one of their hilarious game shows. Can you see her tied up into a ball and rolled down the giant pin-ball hill? Her Pin Head would be a show stopper there!

That's too bad. I was looking forward to getting some laughs from her typical rambling, incoherent, 5th grade level speeches.

It looks like Sarah Palin shut out the Old Media. They wont be allowed to come to her speech in China. But I am positive she will let us know what she says through the New Media. So look to them if you want to know.

Maybe you rightwingers are smarter than I give you credit for. What better way to slow down and challenge the commies than by delivering Palin to them as an expert on investing. "Investing"!!???The investilla from Wasilla. Then indeed, why let the press in to record this most secret of weapons?
