WASHINGTON (CNN) – A senior administration official confirms that President Barack Obama will appear on five Sunday morning talk shows this weekend. The president will sit down with CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, and Univision. The official said Obama will not be appearing on FOX.
The president's interview with CNN will appear on State of the Union with John King at 9 am ET this Sunday.

No Fox. Why? Tough questions?
More lies for the Obama, excuse me, Liberal press to push. If you crazy people would learn from more than CNN and MSNBC and FOX, this country wouldn't be so screwed up. Another thought: YOUR kids and grandkids are going to be paying for your "Saviour's" programs
Why will he not go on the network with the highest ratings?
Fox beats all the other networks hands down.
Maybe the President should appear on Foxnews and dispel all the falsehoods Republicans are saying about healthcare. Are scare tactics all Republicans know? Some of the things they say are just plain ridiculous! They had no problem with Bush's czars but now are after Obama's! They even played the Russian anthem while showing a photo of Obama's czars. Sadly, many people believe the stuff they say.
Thank heaven our President will be on TV real soon because it's been almost 5 minutes since I've seen him last! Will the lib press ask him real questions this time or will it be more serve and volley? Wait a tic, "The president will sit down with CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, and Univision" so that means yet more soft gloves and hero worship...totally pathetic!
Thank God he is not going on Fix news... All Democrats should decline any invitation to appear on that media outlet for the RNC..
OHHHHHH, I thought he would have had booked an interview with FOX. Wow that is surprising, I guess this is sending a message to FOX News, that the president thinks thier news organization is part of the misinformation circuit.
Well fox isnt a real news company its views are obviously slanted.
Good, It's going to be a fight to the finish.
We stand with the president and he will be re-elected.
I don't disagree with Obama for ignoring Fox news. Maybe they can have one of their "exclusive" interviews with Rush Limbaugh or show a re-run of one of Glenn Beck's rants.
Both FOX and MSNBC cater to the extremes in the right and left. But there IS one significant difference between the two organizations. FOX makes false, incorrect statements and it lies to it's audience. It creates or generates stories and it's on-screen talent (a generous use of the word) is held to no standard, EXCEPT to raise the ire of those who fear and aren't able to obtain facts or read or know how to do research.
Frankly, this is a downfall of the Dems. There is a void of facts and information and truth and we dems are not filling that void effectively.
Does Obama really have nothing better to do than go on talk shows. Is this why he collects a paycheck for being President of the United States? There are more ways to get a message to the american people than by going on TV on every other day of the week. Its called get something done! Pay attention to what the people are telling you, all of the people and not just the ones you want to hear that pander to your inflated ego. I never participate in blogs but this candidate (and I say that because he is acting like that and not a president) is really over the top with his constant barrage of press appearances. He needs to sit in the Oval Office and get some work done already.
Seems a little partisan to me. . .
Sorry, but appearing on State of the Union and Meet the Press is the same as appearing on Fox.
ox (there is no misspelling here) news gets the cold shoulder, excellent move by the White House, unless they clean up the criminal minds spewing hatred on the air waves, they will become useless because a good boycot by their sponsors will brake it.......this guy beck, where is his full police report?
Why is the President in such campaign mode?? Americans know we need to do something about health care–Just most do not like the PUBLIC OPTION...Why won't he appear on the Factor with Bill OREilly–now that would be an interview....
Why is Obama afraid of FOX? I guess we must look closer at what they are saying.
Good to see the president is keeping to his word about not wasting time with people who are distorting and lying about the health care bill.
FOX you are irrelevant.
I'm sure he will be able to answer the tough questions from CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and Univision.
How do you like living in the White House so far?
Who is going to the Super Bowl this year?
What is Michelle going to wear to the DNC Ball?
Bag the FOX... I really can't blame him for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With or without a teleprompter?
Apparently our President feels he is only President of some of the country. Like it or not, Fox is the top rated cable news network. It is the news source for a lot of Americans. By continuing to ignore Fox, Obama is essentially telling these people that they don't matter.
Let's face it. This guy is ONLY about his celebrity. Has anyone else noticed that he ID's Cabinet Members as "My" Sec of State, "My" Secretary of Health...etc. Don't these Cabinet members work for "Us"? Shouldn't they be referred to as "The" Sec of State.
Oboma thinks he is a hollywood star. Very tired of him continuing to campaign. He needs to act like a president and spend more time in his office. Believe me obama your no star.
Nice to see the President sticking it to Faux News. LOL. I luv it. They did not air his speech to the joint session of congress, so they don't deserve the courtesy of a sit down chat. Act like an adult instead of a cry baby misinformed, and you get treated like one. Fox can continue to cover Natalie Hallaway.
Have these washington/hollywood weirdos ever heard of worshipping God on Sunday morning??
