(CNN) - Former Vice President Dick Cheney is undergoing surgery on his back Thursday, his office announced.
"Former Vice President Cheney went to The George Washington University Hospital this morning for elective surgery to deal with lumbar spinal stenosis. Dr. Anthony Caputy, Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery, will perform the operation," a spokeswoman said.

I hope is surgery is successful.
And then I hope he starts supporting the healthcare bill so others will have the same chance to have "elective" surgery.

I would like to know what type of health insurance Mr. Cheney has. He frequently has surgeries and certainly has pre-existing conditions so I'm wondering if his premiums are sky high. Does he have private insurance since he is no longer employed by the government and how much are his premiums.

I hope this creep has health Insurance to pay for this elective surgery. And I hope he suffers as much as the men he sent to death and pain in Iraq in a war that was based on a lie. As a war profiteer, this creep used his position of power to enrich himself personally, which is about as low as you can go. And now he criticizes Obama for undoing some of the evil his administration brought us. He is truly an evil man and deserves to suffer. He deserves no compassion.
