we need to get one thing straight,,,being criitical of President Obama is NOT racist..........when you are critical of him and have to bring up his race and background when you do IS being racist. And some of the signs I saw from the tea baggers were racists.

republicans should be recognized as the racist party. All I here from their party is hate and racism. No new ideas only hate. One thing I find interesting is how republicans always talk about how bad the government is at doing anything, but don't they realize they work for the government. So based on their suggestions I will never vote for a republican because they are bad at doing everything.

Bringing up such allagations is what keeps agnst alive between races. that being the case Carter has caused negative issues by his comments. If he continues going unchecked he could ahave a negative impact on inter-racial relations. It's true there will be biggots on every racial front along with gender, religious, political fronts etc.. But not letting it naturally fade is like promoting Helter Skelter and Manson. If someone compars Obama to Hitler does that denote racial issues? no. It denotes political issues. He's just another college professor with his head up where the sun don't shine doing more harm than good to our society. Carter's idiotic ramblings are eroding any legitimacy Obama may have. He should just shut up and let America debate POLITICAL issues and let race issues die.

Obie should be pushed around just like any other Presidents. It's part of the package, but whatever pictures or names that reminds or resembles racism, please do not use it. It can be done differently.

We've seen it done to Bill. Obie is not different, but just be careful. We have a history of it, let's not bring back its UGLY head.

As for Mr. Wilson, it was not racism, just plain arrogance and lack of disrespect for the Office of the Prez. I am sure he's learned his lesson.

The more scared the right-wing fringe group gets, the more hate-mongering they do.

It's a shame there are even that many ignorant people in this country.

Their parents did a horrible job of raising them properly. Shame shame shame shame.

People are just ranting and raving again. The truth of the matter is, that a racist would not be in the same politcal party as President Obama. Therefore, the small number of people who are racists look much larger because they are a part of the GOP. I don't believe that all Republican are racists, but they'll welcome these people with open arms because they need the votes.

Wouldn't calling Michael Steele names be labeled as racist?

I'm so tired of that word. No one can possibly know what truly motivates another person.

Have you ever noticed the only people identified by skin color are caucasions? We have African American, Native American, Hispanic, Asian American, and WHITE.

In case you're wondering, I'm 'other'.

Just remember this one this and we'll all find ourselves in a more civil society. Everyone wants to feel important.

Oh, so if you disagree with the President you are a Republican racist? Gee, I'm not a Republican yet I disagree with him on most issues so tell me how that makes me a Republican. obama is leading us down a very slippery path and it scares the hell out of me.

It makes me sick to think that people actually buy into the idea that criticizing the President and his policies make one racist. I guess there was a ton of racism against Bush! Oh, the absurdity and reverse racism of the leftists...

  14. Don't blame me-I voted for the american

With all the good reasons to hate Obama's policies, and those of the left, who needs to resort to racism.

BTW, lefties. I hate you and I don't even know you except through your words and thoughts. Does that make me a racist? In your universe, we know the answer, but what about in the real one?

Jimmy Carter was not borned on yesterday. His life experiences has taught him enough that he knows where people are being racist and when they are not. It is not that the comments alone is racist; rather, the motovation behind them are.

President Obama is disrespected like no other president this country has ever seen. Regardless of what is done or what he say or wear, people find a problem with it. Many can not confirm what they are shouting out against, yet they will die saying it's true just because another white person said it.

President Obama will be successful!! It has already been spoken. Who God blesses, no man can curse and who he curses, no man can bless.

The republican party has shown time and time again that they will use race and hatred to achieve their political goal of keeping the rich ever richer.

Haven't yet heard which half of Mr. Obama is the racist half: his white half or his black half . . . no doubt the republicans will eventually decide which it is . . .

It would be criticism if they were not protesting with pictures of monkeys and witch doctors with bones through the nose. It is one thing to disagree and I can completely respect that…but this, this is racism. We all disagreed with Bush and people protested; but you did not see signs with burning crosses, and him dressed in a hooded sheet. No, people did not disrespect him like that, no matter what he did and that is the way it should be. If it is not racism then why has the Klan had an overwhelming amount of new members more than they have ever had and the numbers went up after President Obama was elected?

Disguise it any way you want to, but it is what it is.

The irony of the situation is that the first president to be heckled at a joint session of congress was Black, and the heckler is a proud member of the "Sons of the Confederacy". Also, to add insult to injury, Congressman Wilson was wrong!!!!!!!!!! No immigrants will get coverage (section 246 of HR3200). So if he isn't racist, he's stupid. Which amounts to net gain for Obama, and a net loss for Wilson.
    Obama/Biden 2012!!!!!

That march was not about Racism. It was about the issues and how our constitution has been torn apart for the past 20 years. Obama has lied about everything that he promised on his campaign. He has extended the wars, kept the patriot act stronger, and Guantanamo bay isn't even closed down yet.

    Obama is Bush 2.0

It sounds like many Republicans aren't 'racist'...that is....just as long as someone whose skin is darker than theirs hasn't proved to be more intelligent and more successful than they are...

When some Republicans cry out 'Communist', 'Socialist' and 'Terrorist'!! All they are really saying is:

"I'm Republican, Conservative and White...this alone used to place a higher value on my life in comparison to yours since your skin is darker than mine...I'm really upset that this isn't the case anymore!"

    hahahahahahaha.
