HONG KONG, China (CNN) -- Sarah Palin touched on a host of topics - including Reaganomics, China and human rights, Tibet, the Asian and U.S. economies, family and moose in Alaska - as she delivered a speech to investors Wednesday in Hong Kong, according to audience members.
The former Republican vice presidential candidate was the keynote speaker at the 16th CLSA Investors' Forum, in what was billed as her first speech outside North America. She recently stepped down as Alaska's governor.
Her 90-minute address, which was closed to the media, was heard by 1,100 people, according to CLSA head of communications Simone Wheeler.
Those who attended her speech said she did well, though some could be seen leaving early on. A few of those people said they were heading to other forum offerings. Most people declined to speak with the media about the speech.

"He said her speech was "very well scripted," but a question-and-answer session afterward "brought out a bit more color about her as a person" and reminded everyone of "the candidate who we all saw campaigning for vice president"
Duh! Like we didn't know that – also.... Now, since they got their comic relief from the beauty queen with no brains can someone from the media on US soil other than "Faux" obtain a question and answer session with her for America belly laughs as well.
Now she is xporting her drivil.... Like she has something important to say. Yes I'm sure the well manored Chinese business people wouldn't say a bad word about her "speech" out of respect for this country and their image ( of being so polite) but you can bet they were laughing behind Palins back.
hmmm....some "early exits..." And, just how many millions refused to watch the multitude of Obama infommercials outlining healthcare, cap and trade, and stimulus slight of hands? MILLIONS....and you're reporting that a "few early exits..." left the Palin speech...when, she's not even a member of our government, when the current president is crushing our economy and way of life...and you're reporting, again on Palin? Just how shallow will you run, CNN? Just how much cover will you provide to the Obama administration before you'll finally starting reporting the truth?

Now she wants to go to international with her Fear and Hate tactics strating in Japan.... Of course they don't have any comments about her speech. They wouldn't want to say anything bad about the person they hope is propped up by the right in this country to "run" for president.

I just read that two US delegates walked out saying it was "awful" and they could not take it anymore. She also bashed Obama but did not offer any solutions to anything. Other people left early to go to other forums. Guess they will not be contacting her again!
Sarah Palin's new "well-spoken" oratory is surely a feather in her cap.
