HONG KONG, China (CNN) -- Sarah Palin touched on a host of topics - including Reaganomics, China and human rights, Tibet, the Asian and U.S. economies, family and moose in Alaska - as she delivered a speech to investors Wednesday in Hong Kong, according to audience members.
The former Republican vice presidential candidate was the keynote speaker at the 16th CLSA Investors' Forum, in what was billed as her first speech outside North America. She recently stepped down as Alaska's governor.
Her 90-minute address, which was closed to the media, was heard by 1,100 people, according to CLSA head of communications Simone Wheeler.
Those who attended her speech said she did well, though some could be seen leaving early on. A few of those people said they were heading to other forum offerings. Most people declined to speak with the media about the speech.

Oh my goodness gracious!!! I am sure these Chinese investors are excited now about taking over America when they see who is our supposed brilliant leader. I can picture some things she is probably saying now – "You know, you people make such tasty food and maybe we can learn from that".

Why would anyone think she would have anything intelligent to say about the economy in China? She clearly showed she didn't have a grasp of the issues concerning the United States, so why would she know anything about China? She's obviously just reading from a script.

Well she has had a few months to prepare for this speech. Im sure she had a top dollar speech writer. And it is said she did well. So does that mean she knew the names of at least one magazine?
Good for Palin. I like her and hope that she will run for office as a senator or possible chosen for VP again. The republicans need to take back the house. The situation in this country is getting worse and though it was bad with Bush it got worse with the Democrats in power. Palin knows that we are going downhill and Obama cannot fix the economy. Hopefully Palin will make a decision in what she is going to do regarding politics.
