There are more than 20 people in the photo because more than 20 leaders attend the G-20 summits. I saw a photo of the participants at the last G-20 summit, and in addition to the 20 heads of state, representatives from the European Union and other international organizations like the World Bank and IMF also attend. So I assume their spouses may be in this photo as well.

Why did they put the tall chick (Obama) in front? Did these people never see a class picture? You put the "tall kids" in back!

And this is the WANNA BE STAY-AT-HOME MOMMY????
Guess NOT!!! As we're paying for her mother to live in luxury at the white house and do HER job we wonder – why did Michelle claim to want to be a good mother? Her husband left her and their children alone all his life while campaigning and SHE wanted to have a FAMILY life???
Guess she and the Bomba are truly fame seekers!!!!!

I don't understand these negative comments. Michele is a great first lady. She is an educated and elegant lady.

  8. What?

Mark – Michelle Obama is our First Lady. It would be entirely INappropriate for her to not attend these important meetings. For crying out loud, she is hosting the G20 spouses here. You would rather her snub the international economic powerhouses?

Wow, such vitriol. It's just a photo op, for crying out loud. You think Laura, Barb, or Nancy never stood for such photos? Geez.

This is called PEACE not WAR

    This is called DIPLOMACY.

This is called CIVILIZATION and FRIENDSHIP.

THIS NEVER HAPPENED IN THE LAST 8 YEARS.

We only had WAR in the LAST 8 YEARS.

I'm unabashedly proud of our First Lady. She embodies class, a casual sophistication, and intelligence.

I'm a white, 59-year old woman who is proud to see such a First Lady standing there!

For each person there, they place them in the center, the photo you see is of the First Lady in the center, but photos are taken with each leader's wife in the center. This allows each to have thier own centered photo.

  17. What?

For those that keep counting the women in the photo and scratching their heads on the G20, you SERIOUSLY might want to read up on it. It's not 20 countries – It's 19 of the richest countries in the world + the EU, which is made up of several countries. The additional people would be from EU countries.

Oh no person.. Cindy McCain. How would she have been better? A poor excuse for an over aged pill popping uneducated Barbie doll. If Michelle Obama was white with her accomplishments, you would not have a problem.

America voted for Mr. Obama, just accept it.

The cruel comments made about Mrs. Obama are written by deranged people whose hatefulness and contempt are eating at them. They would be happier if they left the U.S. and found a country where only people like themselves live. Then they could spew their hatred as much as they want.
God bless America where all are accepted as equals. Michelle Obama is a woderful lady!

Too bad it wasn't Cindy McCain instead. Michelle Obama is about as attractive as watching Erkel get runned over by a mack truck.

GOP/Republican.....stop hating on Michelle O. It's great that the leaders of other countries even came to the US for the G-20 meeting. For many years that Bush was in office, no international diplomat wouldn't come to the US, even with an invitation. My guess is that the Bush wasn't liked by the world community. Besides, if Cindy McCain where first lady...she'd be standing by herself because none of the other presidents wives don't want to get caught up in Cindy's over dressed fallout.
