WASHINGTON (CNN) - Sarah Palin's much-anticipated memoir now has a title and a new release date, two advisers to the former Alaska governor confirmed to CNN on Monday.
Palin's book will be called "Going Rogue: An American Life" - a reference to the anonymous criticism directed at Palin by aides to Republican presidential nominee John McCain during the final days of last year's presidential race.
After Palin strayed from the campaign playbook several times in October 2008, one McCain adviser griped to CNN that the vice presidential nominee was "going rogue." Another called her a "diva."
The book's publisher, Harper, has ordered a substantial first printing of 1.5 million copies and moved up the release date to November 17 - conveniently in time for the holiday shopping season. The memoir was originally slated for release in the spring of 2010.
Palin inked the book deal last May after hiring Washington, D.C. lawyer Robert Barnett to negotiate the terms. Her collaborator on the book is Lynn Vincent, an editor at "World," a conservative Christian magazine.

This will probably not be printed but here goes; I really do not undertand why this woman has a story that the majority of the world would want to hear. It was lucky for her that she was chosen as VEEP so now she can go on to make millions. Did she write about hiding behind facebook.

Bet it hits the best seller list like "Liberty & Tyranny" did. Since the main stream media is so way off base in real truth and so out of touch with Americans it is sure to be worth the time to read it.
I'm sure that most famous people rely on a collaborator to help them write a book. But in the case of Sarah Palin, I'm not sure what to think, given her inability to put together two coherent sentences. This is 400 pages long? Oh my . . . what will she write about, since she has no expertise in much of anything.
And the title? She's not so much a rogue as someone who has found a way to make a buck. After all, if she had kept her day job, she'd be just another working person, doing her job. But, no, she's a rogue! Yeah, right. Maybe after the book, she'll just go away? One can only hope.
We are tired of her... she has a negative impact every time she is in the news. Her book title... horrible and detrimental. Please do something constructive other than being a speaker and not knowing what you speak about. Don’t waste the Republicans time and money... stop your bid for the Presidency.
Spend time with your family and daughter.... she needs you.

There is absolutely nothing that Sarah Palin could say that would interest me in any way. Why would I ever consider purchasing her book??? I wouldn't.

What a cliche, sappy title. And its funny that she tries to advertise herself as the quintessential American, even though she married a secessionist. Although I am surprised the book is really coming out. I was betting she would quit writing the book halfway through. Guess I owe my roommate 50 dollars now.

What is wrong with this woman? I am what most people would consider a libertarian, which would put my views more in line with the republicans (in some aspects) but this woman needs to go away, forever. What a waste of paper.

Awesome title as her independent sounding title is a classy slap to the conservative elite and hateful left wing. I predict her book will be the highest selling nonfiction this year. Go Sarah!
