WASHINGTON (CNN) - Sen. George LeMieux, the newest Republican lawmaker from Florida, has stacked his office with veterans of Sunshine State politics and some former aides to Gov. Charlie Crist, LeMieux announced Wednesday.
Kerry Feehery, most recently Crist's Director of the State of Florida's Washington office, will serve as chief of staff to the new senator. Vivian Myrtetus was tapped to be the new deputy chief of staff and was a top advisor to Crist.
Crist appointed LeMieux, his former chief of staff, in August to finish the remainder of Sen. Mel Martinez's term after the GOP senator stepped down. Crist has entered the race to fill the seat in 2010.
