Alaska's 'First Dude' resigns

Todd Palin quit his job in the oil fields.
Todd Palin quit his job in the oil fields.

WASHINGTON (CNN)– The 'First Dude' of Alaska will no longer be working in the oil fields.

The Alaska Dispatch reports Todd Palin has quit his job with BP’s North Slope operation. The newspaper quotes BP Company spokesman Steve Rinehart as saying Palin submitted his resignation last month and officially resigned September 18.

As a production operator, Todd Palin was responsible for management of the oil gathering centers, where oil is gathered from multiple wells.

BP PLC is one of the largest energy companies in the world.

Todd Palin, the "First Dude" to former Governor Sarah Palin, shot to national fame along with his wife when she was named Republican vice presidential nominee. He also professionally races snowmobiles (known in Alaska as “snowmachines) and is a commercial fisherman.

News of his resignation comes about two months after Sarah Palin's resignation from office on July 26.

WHY NOT QUIT? TODD's WIFE HAS NOW HIT THE BIG TIMES . . .
With Sarah's million dollar tell-all book deal and with her closed-door speaking engagements as was in China last month; why not quit slopping around BP's oil barrels. There is talk Sarah will get a radio talk show or a regular spot on cable. They're rich now. ;-) LOL!

It appears as though resigning runs in the family. She is defintely presidential material. She'll be the one to cut and run as soon as things get tough.

ok here it comes: now this story from CNN is going to be flooded be liberal lefties, sarcastically screaming "wow, i'm SO suprised that another Palin quit their job, lol, lmao, republicans are idiots, lmao, lmao"

well, newflash, nobody named Palin is going to lead the GOP in 2012 when Obama is crushed under his own bad policies and overall weak character and moral fiber.

No sense working when the Little Woman can make millions to free up your time for academic endeavors like fishing and snowmachining.

Monkey see, monkey do. One quits, the other quits. Why is this not surprising. While the rest of America goes to work everyday actually working on the problems this country faces instead of fear mongering them.

He's even less important than his wife. This is becoming the National Enquirer. Maybe they'll collect welfare, it's only socialist when it's someone else, right?

    Obama crushed in 2012?

How on Earth can a party with 20% popularity 'crush' a president who puts America and Americans first?

Just who has been raising these childlren? It's obvious that these children are not being raised in a "normal" family environment. The mother is never (or seldom ever) home and the father was not a stay at home dad.

My prediction–Todd will be joining Sarah on the book promo tour. It's all about Sarah and money. Kids can always use Twitter to communicate with their parents.
