WASHINGTON (CNN)– The 'First Dude' of Alaska will no longer be working in the oil fields.
The Alaska Dispatch reports Todd Palin has quit his job with BP’s North Slope operation. The newspaper quotes BP Company spokesman Steve Rinehart as saying Palin submitted his resignation last month and officially resigned September 18.
As a production operator, Todd Palin was responsible for management of the oil gathering centers, where oil is gathered from multiple wells.
BP PLC is one of the largest energy companies in the world.
Todd Palin, the "First Dude" to former Governor Sarah Palin, shot to national fame along with his wife when she was named Republican vice presidential nominee. He also professionally races snowmobiles (known in Alaska as “snowmachines) and is a commercial fisherman.
News of his resignation comes about two months after Sarah Palin's resignation from office on July 26.

The Palins must be the quitingest family in America. Elected Governor? Quit. Good job? Quit. Went to college? Quit. Went to college again? Quit. Went to college again and again? Quit.
You know, he probably only had the job because Brainy Sarah had accidentally become governor, and once she resigned, he could not have been any use to them anymore.

All I'm saying is if she runs for President, their is a good chance that whoever she picks for VP will end up being the President when she quits. To be on the safe side I'll stay with who I know can handle pressure President Obama because everything has been done to make him want to quit.
When ms. runs for president, he he can relate to the unemployed and tell about the hardship. And ms. Palin can we say we understand how it is to suffer . I hope he can get unemployment .
I suspect it has something to do with removing ties to large oil companies before her 2012 bid.

It is obviously clear that Todd Palin wears the skirt in the Palin family while Sarah wears the pants.
First of Palin didn't quit she had to step down to save her family and state from going into debt because of ridiculous ethics complaints coming from the far left wing nuts who are afaid of Palin. Second this was only his second job his first is his fishing business!
Do these people ever finish anything they start? Of course not, now that wifey has a few thousand dollars under her belt why should he work. Why don't we start shoving them to the entertainment section where so many other stations have moved them to? They are no longer political anything. Not that they ever were.

At first, I started getting all steamed up and angry about this over exposed, pathetic couple, and then I thought....who cares...what comes around goes around. They deserve what ever they get!
