WASHINGTON (CNN) – The Republican National Committee is instructing surrogates to accuse the Obama administration of trying to "fool Americans" into supporting their heath care plans by hyping GOP figures who've spoken positively about the plan, according to internal RNC talking points provided to CNN on Tuesday by a Republican source outside the committee.
In recent days, the administration and its Democratic allies have pointed to a handful of prominent Republicans who support the idea of passing some kind of health care legislation by the end of the year.
This week, California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, former Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson and former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist - all Republicans - endorsed the idea. So did New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, a Republican-turned-independent.
The RNC's response, according to the internal talking points: "The White House's latest tactic to rescue its failing health care plan is highlighting Republicans who say they support health care reform to fool Americans into thinking these Republicans support the president's government-run health care experiment ... This is yet another example of the White House's preference for P.R. over substance."

Over 30% of the bills are made by the minority party yet not a single vote has moved.
What a joke, if the GOP truly cared about health care they would have done something under their watch from 2000 to 2006 instead of ignoring the growing problem.
The Republicans only say it's a problem now that there's a chance of valid reform that will end the era of robber barons (who buy off the GOP with their bribe money to create these fake talking points) in the health insurance industry that have been leaching off hard working Americans for far too long now.
I'm sure more and more Americans are asking themselves does America even need a Republican party? Their outdated ideas are proven not to work, they have little to no new ideas, and their increasing hateful rhetoric, does nothing to win the swing voters over to their side.
The Repubicans should quit acting like bully children, and work together with the president in getting heath care to all Americans. Grow up. . I think Lincoln, Eisenhower and Reagan are rolling over in their graves, by the way their party is acting. They are showing so much disrespect for the youth to follow. A president is to be honored. He won the election, almost a landslide. Quit scaring people with your lies. Rush Limbaugh gets paid millions for his lies. Come on American people be smart, listen to what Obama says about his plan, and not what FOX says about Obama. Bush really ruined this country. Watch the movie "W' and you'll get sick to your stomach. I couldn't even finish it.
Fool who? we as Americans are not stupid we know who is for and who is against health care reform. We need to pass health care reform and stop with this name calling and playing polictics.
And the GOP has "hyped" Democrats who are against it. So What?
I usually ignore internal party propaganda, since they usually are filled with silly rhetoric that's meant to appeal to the "base"
However I have to say the RNC's propaganda is so over the top crazy that it's sometimes funny to read.
