WASHINGTON (CNN) – President Barack Obama puts on his fundraiser-in-chief hat again later this month.
The president is scheduled to headline a top-dollar dinner for the Democratic National Committee at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York on Tuesday, October 20, according to a Democratic source.
Obama is also the main attraction at a Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee-Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee joint fundraiser in Miami on October 26, according a a Democratic leadership staff source.
The president also heads back onto the campaign trail later this month. Jon Corzine's re-election campaign says the Obama will team up with the New Jersey governor later this month. The president joined Corzine at a campaign rally this summer, and on Wednesday Vice President Biden teamed up with Corzine in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

He's going to double the GOP take everytime he open his pie hole. Thanks Mr. pResident
Wow.... the GOP-haters are out today! How pathetic. Its traditional for president to help their party's candidates campaign and raise money.
BUSH did it..... Reagan did it. Nothing new here.
"Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it; Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it." – Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Why dont he fundraise for something important, like medicare or health reform payment, instead of doing all his rockstar crap, he sure likes the cameras, dont he!!!
He wants more yes men in so they can all follow him like puppets on a string like the present ones are doing now, I sure hope they all get voted out and this country gets back to America, land of the free!!!!!!!
I thought the President and the democrats were going to clean up D.C. but instead they are dealing the same old politics with their lobbiest and special interest (Unions/Lawyers/Enviromental Loons/ Illegal Immigrants/Anti-War-Security Interest/ACLU). It looks like they want to clean up the money first form the taxpayers and from special interest.
Mega hot air but where is the beef?
When can we start buying cars straight from him?
I don't see Obama can do any good. He is very naive. I vote for him, but not any moore. Country don't have President now. We have love with himself man who don;t know what to do.
With Obama as president I feel like I don't have to think anymore. I just sit back and rest assured he will take care of everything. More government is always the answer. Maybe Fidel and Che were right after all.
I think that some of the American people are some of the most unpatriotic people this country has seen. But when you have a President who really cares about the citizens of this county I think you should shut up and let him do what he has to do. Have you forgotten how bad this country was eight (8) years ago? How soon we all forget. You might as wellsit back and relax , because he will be here to stay unitl he has served his full two (2) terms. And when he accomoplishes everything that he has promised, I want to see what you will be saying then
And if it doesn't work, blame Bush!
Our government is working for everyone but the people; they are in election mode 100% of the time, accepting money, gifts and favors from the lobbyists, PACs, Wall Street, Banks, global Corporations, auto industry and unions. The last thing on their mind is “We the People”.
Read Ron Paul's new Book "End the FED" today, and support HR1207!
Are all Republicans as snarky as those posting this hate mail?
Get a life. 8 years worth of incompetence and corruption can not be cleaned up in a day, a month , a year or a term. Did we Dems expect miracles? No. Our president is doing what he has to do while at the same time dealing with nay sayers (Reps) and generation of spoiled brats who want what they want and they want it now! Instant gratification is over kids. The time to learn patience is way over due.
" Rome wasn't built in a day" and neither will an end to the catastrophe wrought by the Bush administration. It is also time for you to accept your own responsibility for the current situation. After all you voted for it 9 years ago. Apologize and move on.
Campaigning for dollars... Obama's wheelhouse. Now if we could just find someone to actually be president.
And no one can bring in the bucks like the president. The reality is...Dems are giving their pockets a rest. The Democratic Party will get the benefit of our funds later. We are diehards who will do anything to keep the GOPers out of Congress, and definitely out of the White House. The stakes are too high, and the president is doing a fantastic job anyway.
Has he done anything? I would say yes, the president is doing his best given the state of affairs he inherited. Did GW do anything in 8 months–yes, ruin our country.
I just wonder who is flipping the bill for Odumbo to fly around to all of the fund raiser's for the Dems. Should we the people be able to tell him NO MORE of the tax payers money will be spent for a one sided campain raising effort. But the kool aid sippers wanted transparency and now we can truly see who we voted in. A CAMPAIGING FOOL, yup, he's good alright. To bad he can't run a country like he campaingns. We would all be rich by now.
God Bless All
We've seen him in his "chief apologizer" hat, his "chief of international feel good" hat, his "chief deficit raiser" hat, and his "chief healthcare reformer" hat...
How about putting his "President of the United States" hat on for a change?
Should not be a problem for a man from Chicago.
He ain't no general either.
"puts on his fundraiser-in-chief..." .... well, I did not notice he puts off his "fundraiser" and "campaigner" hat and actually put on the "president" hat!
How much would it cost us tax payers if..............
Impliment Tort Reform
Open State borders so that we can purchase health insurance from any state. This would cause insurance companies to compete with each other by lowering their cost to us.
Fix Medicare, and Medicade (after all, it was the government that couldn't keep their sticky little fingers out of those funds, so they are the ones that "Broke medicare, SS, and Medicade". FIX IT!
Now which would cost us taxpayers less? Government run (MILLIONS of $$ payed by us taxpayer) Health care? Or the above solution?
Maybe he should take Rangle's example? What's a little corruption between friends?
Great campaigner, lousy leader. Sounds a lot like Bush! The is the Change we voted for!
More dirty money from the dems
This is part of his job campaigning for his party, he is the best president we have ever had and all you republicans do is hate on him,is it jealousy? because your have never had a PRESIDENT like he is.
Who cares?
