Representative Heath Shuler (D-NC)...I hope he throws a basketball better than he throws a football.
I wonder are they going ot run a full court game.
This is news? Really?
Time to call in Dr.J and President Obama, and put the Death Assurance Companies out of their misery.
If by liberal accounts, Palin's book is not news, neither is the President playing basketball! I am not hating, I 'm being fair!
No women? How come?
The Democrats that are fighting Health Care Reform and Public Option are, along with the republicans, putting campaign funding, personal gains and interests over the welfare of the American
people.
We cannot let big business, those who support them, win!!
Why so few Republicans, oh wait. That's right. Sorry.
Obama... how about trying to get the economy fixed and do something about Afghanistan instead of playing games and having phony WH photo-op's.
You would think the teleprompter president would have better things to spend his time on considering all the problems with the economy and unemployment in America, what a waist of time and taxpayer dollars.
This is great! I hope all enjoy themselves. A little exercise with the President is a good thing.
Athlete in chief, fundraiser in chief...
How about helping your Generals out and be COMMANDER IN CHIEF!!!
It's about time - I was beginning to think he'd abandoned the game. I'd pay to see this! I'd be all for them getting into a game of poker, but shooting some hoops works for me.
WOW CNN, are you looking for something to write about? This is news?
Darn – Sebelius was actually on her high school basketball team – think she should be given equal opportunity. Was hoping to see her shooting skills.
Glad to see my representative Heath Shuler will participate. Perhaps after getting to know President Obama in a casual setting, Shuler will be more open to a Public Option for health insurance. Let's hope so.
Good to see our President setting a good example by getting exercise, being a team player and doing something fun with friends and collegues!
Keep up the good work, Mr. President!
does this guy [Obama] actually work?
So how many brave soldiers are going to be wounded or killed while the Poser in Chief works on his jump shot? I see there's a whole 2 Republicans on the list, just enough for Obama and his spin-meisters to claim it was a bi-partisan event.
Why is this news?
If this is to promote being healthy, then I'm all for it. But I do wait on the GOP and the crazies comments. It's just a basketball game people. It is OK to take some time out for physical fitness.
Good Show guy's. What a way to show sportsmanship to the country, along with execise.
What a President we have.
May God Bless and protect him and his Family.
President Obam/VP-Biden for the next eight years
Obama is an embarrassment to USA and World.
