Memo to all the right wingers spewing venom:

If you choose to ignore the Nobel committee's stated reasons for awarding the honor, here's another way to look at it.

The rest of the world knows who and what you are- indolent and arrogant bullies whose policies have been failures on every level- especially economics and foreign policy).

This honor bestowed on Obama- who you've (laughably) called every name you can conjure up is as much a rejection of your and your party's vile nature as it is a recognition of Obama's efforts to change direction and clean up all of the messes that you've made.

How refreshing it is to see an insightful, intelligent and engaged figure on the world stage who actually understands how to use diplomacy and mutual interests to reach common goals.

Of course, it's very much a work in progress- as it has been with many previous recipients. It's going to take many years to undue all the damage that you and your ilk have wrought- though as the committee (and the leaders and the people throughout the rest of the world) see, Obama's not only got the right stuff- but is step by step, following through and once again working with other nations to solve our collective problems.

I prayed to God that I had a nightmare this morning when I learned that Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize. What has he done to earn this award? NOTHING! At best, and that's a stretch, he has done nothing more than any past president, who have all done the same thing. Clinton and Bush both worked on peace in the middle east, and both had their successes and losses. Oh, and they both served TWO terms. What has Obama done? All of his campaign promises are still yet to be fullfilled, with the exception of one of his very first official acts, to help Mexico pay for their abortions on America's dime. He's certainly gone on a lot of vacations around the world, he's said a lot without saying anything at all, much less doing anything to back up anything he said, embarrassed this great country by apologizing to the world for our actions. He embarrasses himself and he embarrasses me when he does it. He has weakened ties with our allies and strengthened ties with our enemies. When Barack Obama does this, he undoes everything that this great country has stood for, has fought for, and everything that our brave men and women have ultimately died for. When Barack Obama is praised by our enemies, it makes me shiver. The Nobel Committee have not only cheapened this award, they have put Prostitute Eye Shadow on it, put it in a mini skirt with a thong, and set it on a street corner for everyone to have a turn at it.

CNN, this is kind of long, but I hope that you post it.

Oh come on Mr. Rollins. Ronald Reagan did nothing for peace. He tripled our defense budget, invaded the island of Grenada, got a bunch of marines killed in Lebanaon, ran up a bunch of debt and rattled his saber a lot. How can you say he did anything for peace?

Obama will EARN IT....... with or without the support of the Republician Party.........so far he has met nothing but opposition from the GOP....... to the point that it is sickning.........boy the sore losers in the GOP are really coming out now........Maybe the reason only Democrats are the ones that have received the Prize is because they are the only party that truely cares about World Peace, about Saving our World and making it a better place for all mankind.........they sure aren't going to award this Prize to a Party that Calls their President a LIER, or people in their party that are praying for the Death of Obama, or putting up signs to Kill Obama.........this sounds more line a Party of Racists and Hate Mongers

The Nobel committee is utterly inscrutable. I haven't taken the Nobel Peace Prize very seriously ever since they gave it to Henry Kissinger, a person who has the blood of hundreds of thousands of South East Asians on his hands.

The President deserves the award. He is also in a powerful yet dangerous position by playing peace maker in this racist country. He carefully conveys his views while listening and addressing other view points.

This safe glorious country allows the advertising of the N-word in referencing our President at the Georgia Peach, which is owned by Republican Pat Lanzo, a convicted sex offender and longtime hatemonger in the town. The restaurant has a number of racist images in his Georgia Peach Museum bar such as cartoons of Klan members lounging on lynched black men and items disparaging Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. A number of Klan rallies have been held here in the past. One such rally was the Aryan Unity Rally on May 18, 2002.

All Americans need to aide the President on keeping the peace.

I used to respect Ed Rollins, but since the election of Obama, he has shown his true colors. White Man, GOP, Right Wing. They are all alike.

Obama is losing incentive to get reelected. His win put him in the record books. Now the Nobel – quit while ahead? Of course, Rollins is right.

Obama added a facet of leadership that the Republicans do not seem to appreciate or understand...that is the ability of the leader to inspire not only his nation but nations of the world. He does this mainly through his words. Words do matter; they do inspire.

Nehru used words, his only asset, to inspire nations of the world to reject the idea that they had to align behind one or the other of the two combatants in the Cold War. The result was a bloc called the Unaligned Nations. Their power helped moderate the Cold War.

Obiviously – he's earned the Honor – Ed Rollins should give congratulations instead of negative commentary. What else should we expect from him

He has earned it. The International community sees our President as someone that has the vision, guidence and drive to bring the world together. I see some green in your statement.

Who are these pundits. The Nobel Committee can give the prize to whoever it wishes. Get a life!!!!! These folks act as if Obama held the Nobel Committee at Gun Point. While the pundits and repubs are so busy trying to tear him down other people are actually watching how Obama is affecting the world. Sometimes you can't see when your inside of it. Shut up people. And another thing to Mike Huckabee. The Democrats, Obama, nor the Nobel Committee have to explain anything to you or anyone else as to why it gave Obama the award. This is a private organization that can do whatever it wants. Remember, government out of the private sector. Not only is the Nobel Committee a private organization, its on another continent. They owe you nothing. What have you done for the world lately? I THOUGHT NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
