    Um....the Nobel Price Committee already decided that he did....and that's their job. Maybe Mr. Rollins should stick to his job....which right this minute should be to shush and be proud that our President just the Nobel Peace Prize.

    Rollins is a GOP strategist, out there spouting the list of talking points handed down by Limbaugh, Rove, Gingrich and Steele.

    He will always criticize President Obama, because his party wants our President and our country to fail.

    Until these Republicans start being part of the solution instead of deepening our country's problems, they will be ignored by all but the ignorant and hateful.

    And this is from a "man" who has done nothing but be a pundit and criticize anything the dems do for the last 8-10 years!

    "For 108 years, the Norwegian Nobel Committee has sought to stimulate precisely that international policy and those attitudes for which Obama is now the world's leading spokesman," the committee said, explaining its decision"

    They failed to credit Obama for what He Has Done:
    – close Guantanamo, release terrorists
    – devalue the American dollar with reckless unabated spending and borrowing for "socialized stimulus programs"
    – promote America as "not a Christian nation";
    – promote America as "one of the largest Muslim nations";
    – promote American subservience for all global ills on his apology tour
    – appoint tax cheats and people of questionable character and deed to executive positions within his administration
    – overturn the Rule of Bankruptcy Law that guarantees Secured Creditors priority settlements
    – declare private citizens as "greedy" and "unpatriotic" for daring to assert their rights as pension holders of secured bonds in GM & Chrysler
    – promote Unionized Workforce with support of EFCA
    – collapse the free market economy with more intervening gov't control
    – usurp individual rights and decisions with healthcare reform
    – Declaratively outright LIE and intentionally mislead the public
    – create the largest carbon footprint of any first family in ten months
    – promote national INSECURITY
    -promote American acquiescence to foreign concerns thru his:
    "Cap and Trade"; UN Security Council address; his pledge at the Pittsburgh G-20 Summit; his stalemate on Afghanistan; his pledge to burden Americans for global warming policies;

    He has captured the worlds attention and given people of the WORLD hope for a better future. Inspiring the world is not an easy thing to do. How many others have actually done this?

    He has already earned it.

    he award was not premature.

    Both Obama and the Republicans should be profoundly humbled by this honoe....

    Obama because he hasn't tangibly demonstrated why he deserves it...

    and

    Republicans because, truth be told, Obama won it because he was NOT George Bush.

    I don't get why those who are complaining are mad at Obama. He wasn't seeking it. Has no control over it. If you want to complain, do so at the committee who does the selection. I agree that (as well as Obama himself says) hasn't earned it. However, maybe it would be a lightening rod. Would be great. Personally at this point I am sure there are others more worthy. Get over it. Crazy. This whole backlash is the very reason he should never have been nominated and chosen. Never seen such effort to create failure and division.

    Ed, what about the peace between the policeman and the professor in Cambridge, MA.? Don't forget Obama peace efforts!

    This President has already made more overtures towards peace than all the previous republican presidents combined. That is what he has done to deserve the Nobel Peace Prize. President Obama will do great things no matter how much the GOP trys to twart his efforts.

    Obama's critics have an impossible standard for him to meet: as long as they stand in the way of what he is trying to accomplish, they have no right to complain about things not being done!

    News FLASH Obama-hating propagandists:

    President Obama was nominated 12 days into his presidency…

    MEANING: The awarding of this VERY PRESTIGIOUS prize has NOTHING to do with his presidency…

    …Barack Obama inspires PEACE and HOPE worldwide more than any individual in decades…

    …Ronald Reagan only gave a speech and the Berlin Wall came down…

    …the media snarks are showing just how DEMONIC this country is…

    Ed. Rollins,
    Is the most negative and disrespectful political strategist that I've seen. He never has anything positive to say about anything except the Republican Party. To be the first African American President elect in this sorry country deserves a prize in it self. No matter what Obama does it is never good enough for them. Who did the Republican Party think deserved the Noble Peace Prize, let's see.................Um, Rush Limbaugh, no......................................, Beck...................................no, I got it......................., I got it,...............................Sarah Palin..............................GEORGE BUSH. BUNCH OF RACIST,, CONSERVATIVE IDIOTS.

    I think Obama was the first to say it was a "call to action". It was an omen, one could say, and Obama knows it. The prize gives Obama a lot of power to get his vision through congress. It does not hurt him, as much as some fear or hope that it does. Obama was just handed a golden sword from the world. His vision is backed by billions.

    Just by not calling out the Republicans for what they are should earn him the prize. The republican want him to go out and earn the award doing something they would fight tooth and nail which is promote peace. What a bunch of hypocrits.

    Get over yourself man – you and your party. Obama didn't seek the award. All you people do is complain, complain, complain. You had your turn in office, not just sit down and shut up.

  20. WHATEVER

    The same "He or she has to earn it" or "you have to prove yourself" from some, older, conservative, rich white males who can't even temper their race issues at this point. The President and his accomplishments are driving them crazy!

    Love it!

    Obama 'til 2016. Peace.... :)

    The only reason Obama fails to "earn" it will be because of republicans trying to destroy him.

    Rollins is a bigot who has to tow the rep. party line. Just say "congrats" already. One has to wonder how deep this resentment of Obama goes? It seems that even if Obama achieved world peace, found a cure for AIDS and cancer, Rollins and his rep. cohorts will still denegrate the guy. To criticize the president, is simply unamerican. (and please don't counter with remember how dems. treated Bush crap) the difference is night and day. good luck.

    Ed Rollins is right. Obama has to do something that works. A few speeches attacking America may please the leftists dolts but will never bring peace. Reagan helped bring down the Soviet Empire and no Peace Prize. Carter brings down the Shah which led to the Iraq invasion of Iran and the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. All that blood is on Carter's hands. Reagan brought freedom and Carter brought tyranny and the Nobel Peace Prize goes to Carter. Leftist hype wins over reality.

    Is there ever anything positive that comes out of the Republicans' mouthes? First Obama is reacting too slowly to the Afghan war, but then he is rushing to much to get health care reform. Now an international award has been given to him (not by his own choice), and they resent that. He didn't campaign for the Peace Prize! Like the janitors say in the circus, "After eight years, it's hard to clean up after a big elephant!" And to think I have voted for Republicans. j.d.
