WASHINGTON (CNN) - Former Vice President Al Gore is coming to Virginia on Friday to raise money for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Creigh Deeds, a campaign aide confirmed.

Gore will headline a fundraiser at a private home in McLean. At this point, however, Gore is not scheduled to make a public appearance with the Democratic hopeful.

The event comes one week after Deeds got fundraising help from the current vice president, Joe Biden.

President Obama has also campaigned and raised money for Deeds, but the White House is being cagey on whether the president will return to the commonwealth in the final three weeks before Election Day on November 3. But the Democratic National Committee launched a flurry of robocalls into Virginia on Tuesday asking Obama campaign supporters to help elect Deeds.

Deeds trails Republican Bob McDonnell in recent polls. Former GOP presidential nominee John McCain will hold a rally for McDonnell in Hampton Roads on Saturday.

Gore is an opportunist and the biggest liar on the planet. They should at least someone that is credible and respectable. Instead they send someone with the ethical compass of John Edwards.

Deeds is a good man but a poor candidate. McDonnell is a slick candidate who will destroy VA like former Gov. Jim Gilmore, another slickster

List the things Socialism has done for us and then list who actually paid for them. List the things that could have been done with the money before the government got their grubby hands on it. Before 1960 this country had almost everyone in a productive job because without one you would have starved. Was it a fair world? Hell no and this one is not either. Was it racist? Sure was. Is it any less now? No. And as long as you have the rabble rousers that depend on a living pushing hate it will always be there. Good example is the Black Africans who come here now, can't speak English and still succeed in business before they can understand the language the born here troubler makers speak. In my business I got the chance to meet these successful people from several countries not just Africa.Anyone that can't make it here has no where else to go.

A speech from Gore should seal Deeds fate..maybe Gore could give his pathetic "I used to be the next POTUS" as well as his "convenient untruth" speech. If anyone questions him–he can always turn his mike off and have the brave reporter ejected from the room.

Gore can no more bring a victory for Deeds than he can make global warming true. Deeds is going to lose and the planet is cooling over the last decade. Gore is clueless on both counts.

With friends like Al Gore and Joe Biden helping him, this guy Deeds will have a tough time getting elected dog catcher let alone governor. I'm sure Al will weave global warming into his speeches and remind Virginia how dirty coal is but Deeds doesn't need those miners' votes does he?.

You know, Al Gore is still a pretty popular person. He won an award to show for it but he is in fact the only thing who is trying to lobby for Global Warming, I give him props but unfortunately, even some in his party(some) are on the bandwagon.

Virginia is a very interesting state, that can tip the balance for the next election. Deeds is alright and McDonell is alright but if I would bet, McDonall would take it. But in the meantime, I don't think any of those has the game to have an impact, but that's just my opinion.

I really do believe everything can be based on momentum and I'm sticking by it. If McDonall wins, the Commonwealth will seek to fiscal and responsibility but most importantly, stability. If Deeds win, it will be about jobs and the most effective way and trait, trust.

I hope someone asks good ole Al Bore about stealing almost $600 million of taxpayer money to finance a green car venture overseas. Yes, WE the taxpayers are funding his stupid adventures. It is almost certain now that he has been wrong on global warming (I hope it snows while he is campaigning there), yet he continues to lead the brainless like the Pied Piper. All the while, Al Bore has been a financial beneficiary of the global warming scam. Even Rolling Stone magazine noted this a couple of months ago. Global warming has been a financial scam from the start.

If Deeds cant pull this off on his own he's done. If he needs everbody holding his hand now, who would be there for him if he were elected?
OH that's right, Odumbo would tell him what to do, he likes that, telling everyone what to do.
    God Bless All
