Big wow, he visited a school while he was here. He needed to get out and see some of the work that needs to be done on the coast, what needs to be done to help the state recover and a hundred other problems that people are struggling with, but NOOOO he was campaigning to a bunch of young children. Leader, yea right.

Really, what is wrong with everyone. Bush stayed away and didn't do anything to help. Now Obama wants to come to New Orleans and what?
There's a debate? America is full of fools.

Obama has now taken more than twice as long to visit Samoa after their disaster than President Bush took to visit New Orleans after Katrina, and mums the word with the media. Bush was BLASTED for how long it took him to visit N.O. And Barrockstar even went to Copenhagen for the Olympics ahead of going to Samoa. Instead the media's writing "giddy" stories about how Obamessiah is visiting New Orleans and none of them are pointing out how Somoa needs the reassurance B.O's giving N.O.

He better do something there....he is failing everywhere else. And this from a strong supporter. I will never again put my faith in the Democratic party....they lie just like Republicans.

There is NO healthcare reform without a public option....and Dems can take that to the bank because they will never again get any of my HARD EARNED MONEY.

Bush did not do things fast enough, granted!
    Obama did NOTHING!
But, by criticizing Bush, he will win points again on do-nothing; this is a way to build up a do-nothing presidency!!!!!

This Republican is just lying flat out. Republican Gov Jindal praised Obama for his efforts in developing Lousiana and removing the red tape that George Bush put in place. The people dont need flowers, they want food and shelter. He should move into a better business. His party criticized the President over the stimulus package and he wants the money to be spent on flowers. Bloody hypocrite.

I find it interesting that Landrieu is squealing about how long the President is there. Maybe he does not want to be associated with an Insurance taking PIG like her. Landrieu needs to fight for Louisianna constituents to have health care.

Well he the First of Many things. He could be the best President this country has seen. If that very notion did not scare the Hell of so many person in the USA. If this was allowed to come to truths. It would kill what made so many American American. Being White. Bush should have beat him to New Orleans. But it was raining really hard. and Ol Bush was at the The devils Birthday Party.

Obama used Katrina time and time again - AND STILL DOES - in his speeches as a pointer to how horrible the GOP handles things.

    Then he gets elected.

Now the great Obama turns his back on the people of New Orleans, and instead goes on HOW MANY TRIPS CROSS COUNTRY TO RAISE MONEY FOR DEMOCRAT CAMPAIGNS??

And he doesn't have the time to check on the hundreds of thousands of sufferers? Nice.

    Obama = HYPOCRITE

Why does cnn think that we should comment on every thing that our President does.

Ok with that said...maybe If the president visits, it will bring peoples attn to New Orleans....

The people there also need the encouragement.

Send money and help......spend the money that it would cost to get ya there on the people in the city who have not had any real government relief. Leave your ego in DC!

Just what do they want this President to do when he takes on too much they complain and say he is not doing enough maybe he should not do anything, because they complain if he does too much and complain if he dont do enough.

Obama will probably have himself photographed (from below, in the style of Triumph des Willens) before huricane-devastated New Orleans sites, the implied promise being to aid in their repairs after the 2012 elections.
With Obama, to every promise there is a season.
