DNC knocks Steele on his birthday

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele turned 51 on Monday.
Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele turned 51 on Monday.

WASHINGTON (CNN) - Monday marks the occasion of Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele's 51st birthday.

The RNC doesn't appear to have anything special planned.

But Democratic National Committee spokesman Hari Sevugan is celebrating with - what else? - a little snark.

"We're not Facebook friends, so I didn't know it was his birthday," Sevugan e-mailed CNN. "But he's given us so many gifts, I feel like we certainly owe him something."

ITS great for the white house.

They cant solve the economic problems we have.
    Unemployment is now over 10%.
Foreclosures are up 23% compared to last year.
Barack is going to Slam us with additional taxes for cap and trade as well as health care...

But they have time to target Fox News and Steele...

Maybe the dems could try to fix the economy instead of spending wildly and trying to tear down a black man.

The hypocritical/uneducated liberal comments by a majority of individuals just shows some Dems are controlled by the media and do not research and make your own political opinions. Michael Steele is a great member of the Republican party and for you to bash him and call him an uncle Tom means you have no idea of the republican party and should not talk about politics. Try talking about something else.

Can someone from the so-called party of tolerance (Democrats) please tell me why you keep bringing up the fact that Michael Steele is African American?

Who cares about this man's birthday? Anyone whose agenda it is to take down this President at all costs – even if it means taking this country down with him – is a miserable human being.....and the GOP is a party full of miserable human beings right now.....

Since when is he the leader of the GOP? Wasn't he forced to apologize to Rush Limbaugh several months back? And now he's a puppet of Rush with all of his hate speak.

The absolute hatred spewn by liberal bloggers on this site reinforce my position to stay with the Republican party even with all their faults.
The last thing I want to be associated with is any liberal who posts on this site with the absolute hypocricy that they expose.
It just makes me vomit how they can be so classless. And the fact that they don't even see it shows their intelligence.
What goes around comes around. Remember that.

  20. they asked for it! ! !

Obama and co. are fighters and they're putting up a good one.
Right now the obstacles being thrown up by Fox and others is feeding those who's view of the "right-side-up" world is that presented by the Bush administration. This infernal noise has to be dealt with to move along Obama's "change" agendae over the battlefield strewn with Limbaugh-ic mines, Beck's roadside "bombs" and others that fight against providing our citizens with what every other major country has given their people for lo, these many years. And, hopefully, ending two wars that we have no business being involved in given the outcry for the domestic needs RIGHT HERE AT HOME. ! !

    Go, OBAMA.....!!!

51 yrs old and Steele is still moonwalkin’ and jawin’ about people's 'mamas'. The RCN will make him buy his own birthday cake....He already served their purpose of bringing in the 'Off Da Hook' vote-which yielded an unprecedented amount of most likely 6 or 7 new voters.....This being said, $15 is too much on top of that for the RNC to shell out for a birthday cake....to many copies of 'Going Rogue' to buy to falsify book sales. :)

What up, Michael? Now that you're 51, time to drop the street slang and talk like an adult. Time also to realize that you're a prop for the Republicans, that you're selling your soul, and that it's time to go out and get a real job. Oh, wait - if you leave your job, you might lose your health insurance. So I guess we're stuck with you. You are a gift to the Democrats! Happy Birthday!
