Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has joined LinkedIn, a professional networking Web site.

WASHINGTON (CNN) - Sarah Palin has placed her resume on LinkedIn.

Known as the “Facebook for professionals,” LinkedIn is a social media site that displays more than 50 million people’s resumes and allows for virtual business networking for those interested in keeping in touch or finding a job. Palin’s resume includes her position as “Vice Presidential Candidate” for the 2008 election and goes back to 1992 where she was the Council Member for the Wasilla City Council.

LinkedIn lists years of employment as well; her profile says Palin was the governor of the State of Alaska for two years and seven months.

Palin also notes that she is interested in “Job inquiries, expertise requests, business deals, reference requests, and getting back in touch.”

Her 2008 running mate John McCain joined LinkedIn during the campaign to participate in “LinkedIn Answers,” a part of the site where people can ask questions and get answers from professionals. McCain asked, “What is the biggest challenge America faces?”

Perhaps she can get a job at McDonald's, but on second thought she might get distracted and walk away from the fry machine.

I wonder if her 'resume' indicates that she has quit every job she has ever had.

Looking forward to the posts by the person ghostwriting the former governor's blog. I also noticed that propensity for vapid comments was not on her resume nor is the destruction of the credibility of the republican party. Someone needs an update!!!

Shouldn't the Governor title come before the VP Presidential nominee? I mean, wasn't Sarah GOVERNOR while she was a VP candidate? HELLO Sarah?

Just another journalism slip I suppose.

She has painted those who criticize her as being unintelligent into a box. All they will every be able to do is say she is supid. Their argument was easily debunked by her own OP-Ed pieces, along with every Facebook posting she makes. Her latest Facebook posting on Health Care is indepth and shows common sense. Its time to admit she did not go from hockey mom to VP candidate by luck, or good looks. She went after each postition like the pitbull she is.

i know many people who are far more intelligent and competent than sarah palin who are also on linkedin, and yet cnn doesn't do a blurb on them.

yet more proof that cnn is feeding into the palin-hype. if cnn and other media outlets would just STOP this, then she'd disappear a whole lot quicker, because sarah palin is just not a person of substance.

Do you know, I have a funny feeling that she just might be able to pull 2012 off, through sheer cunning.

All that is left for CNN to report on Palin is tht she broke wind. CNN is the leading news organization in Palin obsession.

Sarah Palin already had a LinkedIn account when she was contesting. Funnily, John McCain had made a recommendation way back in 2008. Looks funny there.

"...her profile says Palin was the governor of the State of Alaska for two years and seven months."

Next line should read "Reason for Leaving Position": "Quit job to persue the almighty dollar by getting unneeded publicity for doing nothing and opening mouth and inserting foot to level of knee".

Why anyone would concern themselves with anything Palin has to say or (on the rare occasion think) is beyond me but it seems those people are out there. Well keep up the good work....it keeps the rest of us educated people laughing....
