WASHINGTON (CNN) – Sarah Palin will sit down with Oprah Winfrey the day before her new memoir hits bookstores, Harpo announced Tuesday.
The former Alaska governor will make the appearance on Oprah on November 16 to talk about her highly anticipated tell-all, "Going Rogue: An American Life."
Palin has never before appeared on the popular daytime talk show. Last December, Winfrey said she had invited her on the show to discuss the election, but suggested at the time that Palin had instead chose other interviewers.
"I said I would be happy to talk to Sarah Palin when the election was over... I went and tried to talk to Sarah Palin and instead she talked to Greta [Van Susteren]. She talked to Matt [Lauer]. She talked to Larry [King]. But she didn't talk to me," Oprah told the show Extra last year.

Who cares what she has to say but people will watch like they would a train wreck.
Oprah is going to make her look like a fool and she wont even know what hit her!
But it doesn't take much to make Palin look foolish.
OH this could be interesting. Hopefully Oprah won't give her any slack. Hopefully she will prove once and for all that Ms Palin will never be politically correct.
It's disappointing that Oprah would lower herself and give Palin any air time to push her book. Shame on Oprah! At the very least I hope she pulls a Katie Couric and blasts her on something she should know. I will not be watching Oprah that day.

What a hypocrite – she said she wouldn't interview candidates BUT Obama was different he got the personal promotion and the "He is THE ONE" speech from Oprah.

Oprah, get over it. Will you treat her fairly? I don't expect you to like her or faun over her like the "View" did Obama, but she deserves some respect and not Couric disdain.
Interesting set of events. it is nice that Ms. Palin will be interviewed by Ms. Winfrey and she will probably get Ms. Winfrey's support for her book.
Since leaving the governor's office Ms. Palin has written a book and will appear on the Oprah Show. She has also twittered and put any number of her ideas on Face Book. However, she has not given interviews or allowed us the opportunity to speak with her about her writings.

Just turn the television off and do something useful with your time.
Miss Oprah should get a back up guest for that day, she will probably cancel and her publicist will claim it was not a firm committment. Since Rush is still smarting about his NFL rejection he might whisper in her ear for some payback.
