(CNN) - The Democratic National Committee is taking fresh aim at Sarah Palin, encouraging supporters to attack the former Alaska governor on Facebook in order to "debunk her lies."
In an e-mail to supporters, and on a new Web site, the DNC asks supporters to call out Palin when she uses Facebook to transmit what the committee says are falsehoods.
"The more we push back with the truth, the more Sarah Palin and others like her will have to think twice before they promote lies, and the less they'll be able to derail progress," DNC executive director Jen O'Malley Dillon wrote in the e-email.
Palin is the latest high-profile Republican to be targeted by the DNC in a campaign they've labeled "call 'em out." Other Republicans in the DNC's cross-hairs have included House Minority Leader John Boehner, Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele, and Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann.

Palin supporters are reduced to catchy yet childish one-liners to defend their queen. First and foremost, she'll never be President. This being said, now for a fleeting moment, let’s turn it around. Let’s create an opposite scenario.
Imagine a politician who claimed that a ‘Real America’ did not include the republican conservative uneducated poor white trash? Imagine a politician who called these ‘Country First Patriots’ the enemy, and not ‘one of us’? You see, in the United States, even the republican conservative uneducated poor white trash are considered Americans; even if the opposite, according to Palin are not.
Keep the focus on FOX, Keep the focus on Palin. Neocons are then so busy defending their idol worship... that the turtle crosses the finish line and the hare is lost in the dust. You're such a gullible bunch... getting played like an old violin and it sounds like music.
I also wish Snopes and the DNC would fact check all the crap that comes out of Glenn Beck's and Rush Limbaugh's mouths!
Don't waste time and energy calling this person out. For some unexplained reason lying seems to be spouted easily by a huge segment of those with conservative views. They seem to think that because they say it, it must be true and the rest of us will believe them. I don't think that Palin is capable of recognizing or speaking the truth(or even a coherent sentence for that matter). The Right knows that she lies and they don't care.

Palin and her pals never take responsibility, shoot off their mouths and gloat about how "rogue" they are, when in fact, they're intellectual lightweights who not only can't remember what newspapers they read, they can't handle any real stress in their lives. (How else do you explain her quitting in the middle of her term as governor?)

To characterize the act of challenging falsehoods as "attacking" as CNN does in this story misses the mark. The "attack" is coming from those who spread the lies. Those attempting to debunk lies would be "defending" the truth. Not attacking.
Sarah Palin and her followers are the biggest argument I’ve ever seen for studying hard and going to college. The more educated you are, the more easily you can see through Palin's (and Beck's and Hannity's and Limbaugh's and O'Reilly's ...) lies.
What about the biggest lie from Obama? I thought I could keep my current health plan. This bill specifically legislates that my plan will have to change to meet standards set by the government. The only thing I get to keep is the company offering the plan.

The truth worked then, and it will work now. It is the most powerful tool against any opponent. She makes herself out to be "better" than everyone. She wants to "preach" to everyone. She wants to call Johnston out on what he is doing.. she wants to call our her Brother in law and get him fired because of that. She is out there proclaiming from the rooftops on how CHRISTIAN she is. How Down home and common she is.
But all she does is LIE. All she does is do the same things she accuses many others of doing. She is not Common! I wouldnt try and get a family member fired just because of a personal conflict. She cant accuse Johnston of anything she is also Guilty of doing herself.

Opinions are opinions, Palin gives her opinions. I haven't seen her lie. She is fighting more taxes, more government involvement in our lives and our healthcare. She isn't perfect but I appreciate her efforts. We don't need more government. Government does not solve all of our problems.
