Borger: Virginia results a 'signal' to the White House

(CNN) – CNN senior political analyst Gloria Borger says that the projected GOP win in the Virginia gubernatorial race - and exit polls showing independents voting overwhelmingly for Republican Bob McDonnell - could be a problem for the president.

"This is a signal to this White House they have some problems right now – particularly on the economy and on the deficit," she said.
