Brazile: History not on the side of the Democrats tonight

(CNN) –Democratic strategist and CNN contributor Donna Brazile says, "If history is any guide, this is not a good night for the party in power because it's difficult to win races after you've won the presidential race."

"That said, Republicans are still dealing with a civil war in their party and that's something they'll have to sort out," she added.
