Palin reveled details of her book tour on Facebook.

(CNN) - Sarah Palin says she's gearing up for her highly anticipated book tour later this month, writing on Facebook Tuesday she is "very, very excited to travel the country as she promotes her forthcoming memoir, "Going Rogue: An American Life."

The former Alaska governor hinted she'd likely sit down with a string of friendly faces during the tour that begins in two weeks, a list of conservative television hosts that include Fox's Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck. She also wants to appear with Fox host Greta Van Susteren.

Palin added she'll likely appear on the radio programs of conservative talkers Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Dennis Miller, and Laura Ingraham, and Tammy Bruce.

The former Republican vice presidential nominee already has a high-profile sit down on The Oprah Winfrey Show November 16 - the day before her memoir is released.

The Alaska Republican said she also wants to sit down with legendary interviewer Barbara Walters during the tour.

Do any of you libertards find it strange that we know more about Sarah Palin than we do about Hussein Obama? That is the power of the state run media he has set up and you fools believe them.

Cathy in AZ   November 4th, 2009 12:25 pm ET

The real person they should all be talking to is the person who wrote the book because you can bet is was not Sarah Palin!
So, afraid to talk to Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow et al those who would ask her serious questions- NO – she chooses to talk to the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly. This woman is a joke! She quit on the state of Alaska to have someone write a book for her and she reaps the $$$$$ -

Wanda   November 4th, 2009 12:24 pm ET

I am a democrat and you want to know what bothers me about seeing her anywhere - her stupidity is an insult to my intelligence as an American and a woman - she belongs on Jerry Springer and nothing better than that kind of trash show will ever suit her – so plaster her all over the place and run her in 2012 - the media will love it!

Jeffer65   November 4th, 2009 12:24 pm ET

Hopefully Oprah and Barbara will ask Sarah some tough questions. The others won't. Republicans are very foolish if they hitch a ride on her wagon.

keith A. sillsbury   November 4th, 2009 12:24 pm ET

whats going to be funny is that nobody or should I say No real everyday Americans want, will read, or are intrested in its book. Even funnier would be if no one showed up for its book signing, Though I did visit the christian coalition website and I tell ya they love it. They think it has a chance to win in 2012 and think its inteligent. these are some really stupid people. well it said it would like to be interviewed by barbara but barbara does not want to interview it. And as for the drug addict limpo, he's to scared to interview anybody. he never has anyone on his show so why change tactics now.

Kenny   November 4th, 2009 12:21 pm ET

She's smart, she's the most talked about conservative in her party, and everything she does gets a lot of reaction (both good and bad). I hope her book sells millions and I hope she finds a prominent role in her party.

pghlou   November 4th, 2009 12:19 pm ET

There is a saying. Better to remain silent when people think you are stupid rather than speaking and removing all doubt. Speak Sarah, Speak! Sarah, Rush, Glen, etc. These are the voices of the new Republican Party. What a bunch of hateful dolts.

You should be able to read a book (without pictures) before you pretend to write one.
The trees that will be sacrificed for this artificial tome would have been better used as, say, toilet paper.

"selling lies" should be your book title Palin

Jeff Brown in Jersey   November 4th, 2009 12:10 pm ET

I see she struck again! She stuck her unwelcome nose into upstate New York politics and destroyed what was left of the Republican party there. Keep up the good work Sarah!

DJ   November 4th, 2009 12:10 pm ET

Perhaps Ms. Palin and her publishing team should look to references other than X-men comic books and 80s cop movies as inspiration for brand-naming their product. However, given the fact that the book is ready for print, I think these definitions of 'rogue' from Webster's dictionary are quite fitting (thanks Mary from Oregon):

Main Entry: rogue
Function: noun
Date: 1561
5. rogue(n): an individual exhibiting a chance and usually inferior biological variation.

Better yet:

Main Entry: rogue
Function: adjective
Date: 1872
1 : resembling or suggesting a rogue elephant especially in being isolated, aberrant, dangerous, or uncontrollable
2 : corrupt, dishonest

Put some lipstick on that! (HA-HA)

Lost in Texas FOREVER   November 4th, 2009 12:08 pm ET

I really hope that when Sarah talks to Oprah, Oprah asks her the one question of which I've always wanted to hear the answer to. That would be "WHY did she allow at her rallies for people to yell racists and hateful things at then candidate Obama and she nothing about it?" Even Sen McCain put a stop to such foolishness while Sarah Palin allowed it to continue. And if she gives the answer that she wasn't aware it was going on, then she will hold far less creditability with me than she does now.

I can't wait to not see Sarah Palin. Wow, how exciting it will be to avoid any show she goes on. The thought of seeing her in person just makes me feel ill.

Mojo   November 4th, 2009 12:04 pm ET

She seized oil company profits, and redistributed the wealth to Alaska's citizens.

She's a closet socialist.

Canadian POV   November 4th, 2009 12:04 pm ET

When the author doesn't even realize the meaning of the title of her own book, it speaks volumes about her shallow intellect. If she does know what going rogue means and is proud to call that an American Life then it is no wonder that the rest of the world despises the US when the GOP speak for the nation. She doesn't stand a chance to become president but then again neither did W but they had the power and means to steal that election. In the event that Palin was elected president the allies of the US would very, very quickly evaporate because the civilized western world would have no choice but to form its own alliance to protect the planet from the bible thumping nut jobs.

Prospering Pete   November 4th, 2009 12:04 pm ET

"Sarah Palin should try to tread water against a host who doesn't share her ultra-conservative views. She needs to be able to prove herself against someone who won't nod in agreement with everything she says. She needs to go on the Howard Stern show and get some much needed respect. There is no respect in only speaking with those whom agree with you. He will take her out of her element and show who she really is."

Yeah! Like Obama has!

It's not that we Democrat men or women HATE Sarah Palin........we aren't jealious of her, we are not the party of HATE......that's you the GOP's motto.........we can see what you republicans, independents, religious ring wing can't see, because you are the ones with your heads in the sand......she is not intelligent enough to hold the office of VP, President, Govenor, or any other political office.....if she gets elected by your party to run for the WH she is going to have to face all the Networks, all the Jounalist, all the media and this she can not do.......simple as that.......we want someone who can speak not only with good English but with knowledge......this she does not have.......we don't want to hear PIG LATIN or what ever gibberish it is that she speaks

ttbala   November 4th, 2009 12:02 pm ET

Well Howie,

I am sorry to dissapoint you It is not jealousy, it just is that the democrats have standards, and the standards of this lady is well well well below ours, look at what she did in upstate New Yorks Race when she put her nose in it, she made them loose a seat that had never been occupied by a dem, do I need to say more, accept, that what comes out of that mouth is garbage.

What's so funny to me is that there was an election last night with some pretty strong indications of how people feel about our government.

However, the only story this morning that there are comments is on Sarah Palin.

I was really looking forward to hearing the whining and justification of last night's results by Lacrosse Mom, Victim of Republican Greed, Dominican Mama for Obama and Sniffit.

At least they can feel good about themselves and write something nasty and mean-spirited about Sarah Palin and how "irrelevant" she is...

Jeff   November 4th, 2009 11:56 am ET

Breath of fresh air? They said the same thing about an Austrian guy who couldn't get admitted into art school.

Laurie in Spokane   November 4th, 2009 11:54 am ET

I see a number of people commenting that the negative postings about Palin must be due to jealousy. Not at all........

It's just that we feel Palin is a nobody, can't string two words together coherently, is a quitter, doesn't represent mainstream America, is sadly uninformed, and doesn't deserve the time spent to write these words.

Russ   November 4th, 2009 11:53 am ET

Why not, these are the only people that care a rats behind about Sarah P. She doesn't have the guts to go a real news show. She knows she would get asked easy questions that she couldn't answer.

Florida Joe   November 4th, 2009 11:52 am ET

Mary in Oregon November 4th, 2009 11:00 am ET

I am surprised that either Ms. Palin or the publisher would use the word "rogue" in the book title. Check out the definition on line or in your own dictionary. From the Merriam-Webster listing on Google: rogue – Definition from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary
1 : VAGRANT, TRAMP 2 : A DISHONEST OR WORTHLESS PERSON : SCOUNDREL 3A MISCHIEVOUS PERSON: SCAMP. All definitions on all listings are extremely unflattering.

She loves yacking about her conservative values yet she's nothing more than a delutional self promoter. Why is it that she made all these robocall in New York on behalf of these other right wing nutcase, but she only mentions HER name in the call as if she's the one who's running for election? To top it off she condemened exactly this sort of tactic just a year ago. Certainly her demented mind knows no bounds.

So ... which section of the bookstore will this illustrious tome be placed?

True Crime?? Well, maybe ... what she does to the English language is truly criminal.

Mystery?? A good possibility ... since its a mystery that anyone thinks she was a credible choice for VP.

Fashion?? Well, we know she knows how to shop for clothes on someone else's credit card.

Parenting?? If you pay any attention to Levi, there doesn't seem to be much of it in the Palin household.

Self-Improvement?? Well, she did go from wannabe beauty contestant to governor of Alaska ... but then she did quit that gig.

There could be more sections ... to Barnes & Noble ... just stick it in "Fiction" or the discount bin!

Are you just silently crying in your hands that tow Governers' races are all you have to boast? Especially ignoring the fact that the New York senate seat, held since the Civil War, by the GOP was won by a domocrat.

Talk about making mountains out of mole hills. Please know that it's the norm for the opposition to win a few elections after a change in sides, that's called checks and balances – something you had a problem with during Bush's admin, but now with a democratic President, senate, house... but, now you have your two governers. Hopefully they won't pull a Palin and jump ship...

Of the potential interviewers listed, the only ones I will watch are the ones with Oprah and also Barbara Walters; they, hopefully, will have some discerning questions; I'm not interested in softball questions; if Palin wants to change her image, she has to be able to spar with all kinds of interviewers. Her base will love the book, but I don't think she will change the minds of many others and if she wants any future in politics (she may not) she has to have broader support.

Howie   November 4th, 2009 11:44 am ET

I would like the democrats leaving commments here to tell me what it is that gets them upset when they see her on CNN. Is it jealousy????

C. Farrell, Houston, Tx   November 4th, 2009 11:43 am ET

What, no interviews with Katie Couric. If Palin thinks Oprah and Barbara Walters are a pushover in an interview like Rush, Hannity, she's wrong.

For all of you who "hate" Sara Palin it seems humorous that CNN has a Sarah Palin button where folks can rant and rave and say "oh why doesn't she go away?" If you want her to "go away" – stop obsessing over her. Stop commenting on her stories. Send email to CNN to stop reporting on her. It's like you are all "addicted" to find stories about her and then ask why is she in the news. Seems funny to me. If I don't like something, I ignore it.

james smedley   November 4th, 2009 11:34 am ET

If Ms. Palin recognizes somewhere in her book that she would not make a good president of the United States, the book may have its merit. If not, I urge her to consider the seriousness and truth in the majority of the criticism she's received. While a leader must maintain his/her self-confidence in the face of criticism, he/she must also consider his/her own fallibility. The people of the United States have spoken with regard to Ms. Palin's presence in the media. We do not want to hear any more about her. We wish she would return to the low-profile life she presumably led before entering office. Her continued ignoring of this reality denotes an inflated self-confidence and sense of superiority that the potential leader of a nation must not have.

Ms. Palin, With all due respect, cease attracting national attention.

JJ in Chula Vista, CA   November 4th, 2009 11:34 am ET

limp wrist sniffit and all you Republican bloggers,

Please, I really hope you Republicans/Conservatives nominate Sarah Palin for president in 2012.

I hope she's nominated and she accepts the nomination.

I genuinely believe she indeed represents all of you and what you stand for. She deserves to be nominated for president because she's done so much and she has so much more experience running the biggest state in the union, and so close to Russia.

That's what I'll ask Santa for this Christmas and next Christmas ahead of 2012.

Mike in MN   November 4th, 2009 11:33 am ET

Sara is sitting down with "Entertainers" – not real journalists. For God's sake, Dennis Miller? He's a comedian with a conservative talk show. Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, etc. – none of them tout themselves as political journalists. I think she is afraid to sit down with a true political journalist. Barbara Walters is no longer on top of her game and so she will be an 'easy" interview. Sara Palin can never be President because she can't stand up to questions from the likes of Anderson Cooper, Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews, etc.

The only speeches she ever gave that had any coherency and a little sense were written FOR HER. The woman is an accident waiting for a place to happen!

Tina, NC   November 4th, 2009 11:19 am ET

This woman will do anything for money. I truly feel sorry for the people who support her and can't see her for the phony that she is.

Dave   November 4th, 2009 11:19 am ET

What a coward... only conservative Neo-con interviews....What a laugh....

Harry BC   November 4th, 2009 11:18 am ET

It's the beginning of a campaign for the WH, and not for money, no matter how the radical left want to spin it.

Sarah Palin is the next President of the US, and the left hates it. Too bad.

Jackie in Dallas   November 4th, 2009 11:18 am ET

Would CNN PLEASE stop giving this woman free publicity???

OK, she ran for Vice President of this country and served part of a term as Governor of Alaska. And yeah, she's photogenic. But there are a lot of other stories out there that deserve coverage, that aren't getting it due to this obsession with this virtual non-entity!

Let her book agents take out an ad if they want to publicize her book tour - it certainly doesn't belong on the ticker!

Ron in California   November 4th, 2009 11:18 am ET

Hey...where are the Sarah basher?

She going to have a best seller and make lot's of money...Keep on giving her free publicity.

Brandon from WA   November 4th, 2009 11:17 am ET

Where I work, we refer to people that are "going rogue" as people who "quit their job".

Parnell Meagre   November 4th, 2009 11:14 am ET

I thought the headline was announcing that Sarah Palin had READ a book and was holding a press conference to announce the details of her experience.

Confused   November 4th, 2009 11:14 am ET

I'm so SICK of Palin I could PUKE

jaman   November 4th, 2009 11:14 am ET

I do not care

johnrj08   November 4th, 2009 11:13 am ET

Well, I'm glad to hear that Palin is doing a tour of America. Now, she will finally get that geography lesson she never got in high school.

It is astonishing that there are so many people who actually think this woman is something special. A more vacuous, ill-informed politician has never walked the Earth.

Are republicans evil or just stupid ?   November 4th, 2009 11:13 am ET

Now we know why Palin left office and deserted the folks in Alaska.
Just like many right wingers very selfish and the total pursuit of profits.

I really have a tough time with the Likes of beck, limberg, cheny etc and how they spout out that they have values and yet bring shame among themselves.

jaman   November 4th, 2009 11:11 am ET

Who cares

Keith in CA   November 4th, 2009 11:10 am ET

Instead of sitting down to fluff pieces with Fox, why doesn't Palin Go Rogue and discuss her views with Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews? Surely, the Pitbull with Lipstick has enough conviction in her principles to handle one-on-one interviews with real journalists.

Who am I kidding? Palin belongs on the Jerry Springer Show.

~~ July ~~ ( Working HARD to make TX Blue )   November 4th, 2009 11:10 am ET

The former Alaska governor hinted she'd likely sit down with a string of friendly faces during the tour that begins in two weeks, a list of conservative television hosts that include Fox's Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck. She also wants to appear with Fox host Greta Van Susteren.

Palin added she'll likely appear on the radio programs of conservative talkers Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Dennis Miller, and Laura Ingraham, and Tammy Bruce.

________________________________

OOhhhhh wow .... hard hitting ... hope they are 'fair and balance' with her.

Beck will cry, Sean will be 'Thanking America for being the greatest country in the world and for Sarah being the BEST Amercian' ... Bill might scare her alittle but then just laugh and say 'kidding you know I AM THE GREATEST' .... Greta with her crooked grin will for sure tell her about how GREAT Todd is ....

Rush will bow to her ....

Tom   November 4th, 2009 11:09 am ET

Even though I'm a Republican and voted for you, Sarah, I really don't care about your book. I have no interest what-so-ever to read about your life. Why is it that anyone in who's in the media feels the need to write a book? We see this all the time from sports atheletes, to radio commentators, to news broadcasters, to former Presidents and first ladies. This has nothing to do with political affiliation, as we see it from Democrat and Republican alike. Heck, we even get it from people in high-profile crime stories. I'm sure someone will write a stupd book about the "balloon boy".

Who really cares? I don't.

Ryan   November 4th, 2009 11:08 am ET

I'd love to know when she's coming to Seattle so I can plan a vacation in Florida.

Realy tired of this nutcase, can someone send her home....... lock her up there???

Don'cha just love it?   November 4th, 2009 11:08 am ET

I hope none of the interviewers asks her any tough questions like "What do you read?". She needs easier stuff than that.

Palin has already told so many lies that I am not sure what else would be in her so-called memoirs. More lies? The woman has a problem with truth. She is an opportunist who saw money and quit as Alaska governor to pursue it. But I hope Repubs believe in her enough to nominate her for the presidency in 2012 so we can, once and for all, give a defeaning blow and bury the nut wings forever!

CNN, I don't know why I have to beg you to print my comments, but here I go begging again.

George   November 4th, 2009 11:05 am ET

Sarah – who cares what you say.
To call the spade – Sarah is simply finding a way to benefit herself financially from the media, even though most Americans question her
knowledge and capabilities. She is rallying around the extreme right to make money for herself. As a result of the book she'll actually be able to afford the clothes from Bloomindales she supposedly doesn't need.

Mitch   November 4th, 2009 11:04 am ET

She can always appear on Mr. Rogers since his show caters to her intellectual equals.

Bob   November 4th, 2009 11:01 am ET

GOOD LUCK, SARAH

Dave   November 4th, 2009 11:01 am ET

Why won't this person go away? Maybe the election in upstate New York will help (nothing like endorsing a loser!)!

cathy   November 4th, 2009 11:01 am ET

Yes she should sit down, sit down and shut up that is !

S.B. Stein E.B. NJ   November 4th, 2009 10:59 am ET

I guess Palin will enjoy that because she will be out of Alaska. Isn't that why she quit being governor of Alaska? I thought it was to show what she can't do - finish an elected term.

limp wrist sniffit   November 4th, 2009 10:59 am ET

The last Palin ticker blog had 25 posts saying "why is this news", and 19 posts saying "why won"t she just go away". It was a slow day for the haters. I anticipate the broken records to come out in full force today after last nights election results.

sharon   November 4th, 2009 10:58 am ET

SNL.......get ready.....she wants to sit down with Barbara Walters.......

Can't wait until her book hits the dollar store. It will be less expensive than firewood but will include the same content.

Jim, San Antonio   November 4th, 2009 10:57 am ET

Bet she won't sit down with Katie or any other real journalist.

Vince   November 4th, 2009 10:56 am ET

"Going Rogue" sounds more like a new skin flick than a memoir but I'm sure it's loaded with interesting stories about what it was like growing up in the wilderness as sasquatch's daughter!

Ivy   November 4th, 2009 10:56 am ET

Too afraid to sit down with any real journalists, I see.

Who put the twit in twitter? Sarah!   November 4th, 2009 10:56 am ET

TangledThorns   November 4th, 2009 10:56 am ET

Sweet! Sarah Palin showed in NY23 that she is a true leader by calling out a woman who truly do not represent Republicans. I hope she visits my area of Reston, VA!!

Tammy Smith   November 4th, 2009 10:55 am ET

Go Sarah, go! You're the only one who can save this country. Stay strong! Already pre-ordered your book - can't wait to ready it!

maybe she will talk about how she single handedly ruined the race in NY23 as well. i think this woman is disgusting and such a coward to only appear with the loons that croon over her is a joke. what a role model this creepy woman is!! i wonder how many books she is selling now that they have already reduced it to 9 bucks!!! that alone says alot about her wouldn't you say?

Florida Joe   November 4th, 2009 10:49 am ET

OK, just as long as she doesn't sit down with anyone like Katie that might ask her another tough question like "what books do you read"

What a joke this creature is................

New Age Independent   November 4th, 2009 10:48 am ET

This is the problem with the Democrat Party and CNN. They both have this incredible fixation with Palin. The continual trashing of this woman in the media will not help the party, instead showing that they are only about power and greed. They gained power only to misuse it and they forgot the lessons that put them in the minority before. They appear to be doomed to repeat those mistakes.

John D.   November 4th, 2009 10:46 am ET

As if she actually wrote it....

Al-NY,NY   November 4th, 2009 10:45 am ET

wow. those are some real details Fido. I see that your list of interviewers is nothing but a bunch of enablers who will kiss your backside and tell you how great you are. Let the softball questions fly and your sheep will eat it up as evidence that you are more than a know-nothing opportunist who couldnt find her way out of a paper bag

Ken in NC   November 4th, 2009 10:45 am ET

It will be OK as long as all she does is sit down. If she opens her mouth her goose is cooked. People will realize she did not take the time to sit down and read her own book.

"very, very excited to travel the country as she promotes her forthcoming memoir, "

Well yeah of course she is. It involves two of her favorite things: money and not being in Alaska. I'm sure she'll find a way to sneak in some of her other favorite things: blaming the media, being a victim, and making stuff up.

sandy   November 4th, 2009 10:43 am ET

Anything to get the bucks rolling in, huh Sarah?

Noah Tallant   November 4th, 2009 10:43 am ET

Sarah Palin is the biggest liar in American politics. She said at her resignation speech to Alaska that she was resigning to be with her family and not to do a book deal and such. She is the epitome of all politicians when it comes to money they will tell you what you want to hear. Anybody that buys her book is just as untruthful. She should be required to give any money made from this sale of this book to a charity that gives money to the Alaska natives she let down. She did not finish her term. Just imagine if she won the presidency she would step down half way through to right another book.

Franky, Land of Lincoln   November 4th, 2009 10:41 am ET

I wonder if her book is as interesting. I'm sure it got some good stuff in there but I'm more curious to see the feedback it will receive.

I don't know for sure what she'll tal about but I'm certain is gonna be her perspective on the previous election and what she plans to do in the future. Maybe she can give a tell of some kind.

I don't know but doesn't anybody else think the book is kind of short? Usually books by major players in the public media tend to be long and durable. That's my opinion and I'm curious to see what the reviews will be when articles, blogs, newspapers, etc in the social media get to review it or preview it a couple days or maybe even a week when its released. I think someone will get their hands on it before we know it.

Mike   November 4th, 2009 10:41 am ET

Charlie_Running_horse   November 4th, 2009 10:37 am ET

I thought we'd seen the last episode of the Alaska Hillbillies a year ago. Wrong!!

Why are you wasting space on this screeching harpy?

As an independent who admired and supported McCain, I was excited when he selected a woman for VP. However, once she opened her mouth, I knew I could notbring myself to support them.

All of her speeches, rambling and incoherent as they usually are, have been long on emotion but short on facts. But that seems to be the way of the world now, doesn't it? Facts don't matter as long as you get your face out in front of the cameras. Oh, and sell books! Don't worry about your committment to the people who elected you. Shill, baby, shill!

As the bumper sticker says, "The more I learn about people, the more I love my dog."

sandy   November 4th, 2009 10:37 am ET

Oh good, we'll finally get to see her brain (?) at work. Watch me run right out and buy that book. Not on your life.

Palin 5
Obama 0

Go Sarah. America rejects Obama as all speech and golf and no action.

Doug, New Jersey   November 4th, 2009 10:36 am ET

Sarah Palin and Barak Obama sure do tell you everything you need to know about Democrats and Republicans.

With Obama, republicans do not hate the man, they don't wish him or his family harm. They disagree with his policies and ideology of hate, division, and control. Every comment about Obama from a republican is based on facts about what he is doing, has done, what he has said, or the people he works with and chooses to work with him.

With Palin, 100% of the comments made about her by every Democrat is silly hateful personal attacks, and wishing her and her family the worst harm the Democrat can dream be inflicted on a person. They have never once took on any facts about her, nothing about her actual policies or things she has said, just lies. This is excused I guess by the fact that Sarah always tells the truth, and every Democrat is full of lies and distortions of the truth. Every Democrat is a being manipulated by its own hate, lies, and anger.

You can decide what type of person you are or want to be and the example you wish to show your children. If you go with facts and being objective you will be a republican, if you like to lie, and have silly misguided hate and anger based of a false reality, then you vote Democrat. All Republicans agree that this is your choice, and maybe 10% of Democrats agree also.

james   November 4th, 2009 10:35 am ET

right on sarah!

Randy, San Francisco   November 4th, 2009 10:35 am ET

The 29 percent of GOP voters who feel Palin is qualified to be president will buy the book. Better to read the book, The Battle for America 2009 by Dan Balz and Haynes Johnson or wait til the Palin book goes on the one dollar bargain table.

Randolph Carter.   November 4th, 2009 10:33 am ET

CNN... Let's not try to distract from what was accomplished during the elections yesterday. I know Sarah is a lighting rod and is usually a good distraction, but Obama politiced hard for the Dems that lost. He basically has no clout anymore. He is very likable but not getting the job done. Barack photoop Obama.

Have a nice day!

Dennis   November 4th, 2009 10:32 am ET

Sarah Palin couldn't cut it as Governor of Alaska because of the media pressure. Now, she's writing a book and what is she doing? Asking for more media coverage.

TakeNoCrap   November 4th, 2009 10:31 am ET

When you get famous for doing nothing and will earn lot of money, I guess that is what American Dream is now a days.

First, she was not voted by people to be nominated to become running mate of McCain and then she sunk his chances and went rouge on media and her own State (you can't see Russia from her house) and finally publishing book telling lofty stories and dummy ideas that hasn't work and will never work.

This is the new America?

Said Palin, "It has words, and pictures, and I'm told it has paragraphs too." After shuffling through her notes Palin added, "Apparently there are no longer any run-on sentences and sentence fragments, as my editor also assured me they cut out all factual errors and spelling errors."

Palin's new book, Going Rogue, is a masterful 6-page tell-all filled with an inspiring story.

D. Galea   November 4th, 2009 10:27 am ET

If Sarah Palin had actually written the book herself, the title would have been Goin' Rogue: you betcha!
back in the day this would have been called propaganda.

I'm sure we all want to know if Palin will suddenly be nice to Oprah, after demonizing her and other members of "the Chicago Machine" during the election.

Does Sarah still think our president "Pals around with terrorists?"

Extremist rhetoric like that has no place in our politics anymore. It will be interesting to see if she tries to be more moderate, or if she continues to embrace the extremists in her party.

"Going Rogue: An American Lie". I look forward to Flailin Palin's interview with Oprah, and I pray that she gets booked with Barbara Walters. My hope is that between Oprah and Babs she'll come out looking like mincemeat. It is going to be very interesting having her promote her pamphlet with these two heavyweights without her tripping all over herself trying to call to mind her many lies and keeping them straight.

Only in America can a person who personifies the worst in our country: ignorance, divisiveness, no-values, and a total lack of integrity either to self or others make off like a bandit in promoting the very same. I am AGOG at the effrontery of it all.

Michelle   November 4th, 2009 10:14 am ET

I was right...she intends to talk only to those who believe just what she does: that unless you follow her "values" you are not worth her time. Or is it that she is afraid of CNN, MSNBC, ABC, and CBS? Barbara Walters will probably interview her (unless Palin demands a paycheck for it!) but you betcha it will not be a hard hitting interview. And "wants to" and "probably" and "will likely appear on the radio programs" ( appear on the radio- HUH?) don't sound like anything is actually scheduled. We'll see how many she actually does, and how many times the same softball questions are asked, and how many times she blames the media for her problems. I'm still waiting for an apology from her for any of her many lies.

The media will hammer home Palin's SINGLE words that she supported the THIRD part candidate at the last possible moments as a defeat for her and Conservatives, sorry MSM, see you next year when this is not a cluster.

Not a referendum on Obambi, really?

He made how many VISITS to each state and he spent how much capital to FULLY support two losing candidates?

Independents chose the Republicans overwhelmingly and that is somehow not bad for Obambi and Liberals?

Sara Palin a governor who abounded her job as governor of Alaska writing a book and I wonder what it will contain. Senator McCain made a big mistake picking her as his running mate. I respect the Senator for all his valor but I was surprised who was advising him. Now we have Sara Palin going around the country brandishing her conservative ideas, mock the president at every chance she gets and trying to build her political platform. I think the republican party will be mistaken to even think she will be a viable candidate in the 2012 presidential election. She also mentioned she will like to sit with all the television celebrities and promote her book and her unpolished political views.

odumber, 1 and a half year old maturity level...   November 4th, 2009 10:05 am ET

Will there be a pop-up of Alaska's coast and Russia's coast?

Also, Mrs. Palin, maybe you should have checked the definition to Rogue before you used it;
Rogue (as per Merriam-Webster)
1 : vagrant, tramp
2 : a dishonest or worthless person : scoundrel
3 : a mischievous person : scamp
4 : a horse inclined to shirk or misbehave
5 : an individual exhibiting a chance and usually inferior biological variation

Unwanted is a far cry from distancing one's self, but with eough spin you've captivated the half-wits. Congrats on your already discounted book.

LMAO   November 4th, 2009 10:04 am ET

She's going on Limbaugh, and Ingram? Nothin like taking the easy way out- Oh Yeah- that's all she knows how to do- QUITTER!!

Clint   November 4th, 2009 10:04 am ET

Please, just give this pathetic woman a TV show and get her off the political pages. Dhe is right at home with Oprah and Ellen, not with people who are elected and serve out theirs.

Mark   November 4th, 2009 10:01 am ET

If Palin were less physically attractive, would she still be getting this much attention?

Tania   November 4th, 2009 10:00 am ET

Interviews... one on one... no script... no editing.... ooooooh, can't wait. Like watching a car crash in slow motion.

Pragmatic   November 4th, 2009 10:00 am ET

"The former Alaska governor hinted she'd likely sit down with a string of friendly faces..." ya betcha! wink! wink! softball questions and unadulterated adoration ... worshiping at Sister Sarah's alter.... now that's not TV worth watching. Barbara Walters may be a whole different ball game – the questions couldn't get any softer than "what news papers do you read?" or "what Supreme Court decisions do you think are important...?"

Richard L   November 4th, 2009 10:00 am ET

It is so obvious that Palin abandoned the people of Alaska for MONEY.

Nick in LA   November 4th, 2009 10:00 am ET

America is doomed if we continue to worship such intellectual lightweights.

These days, one need only cry out "I am a staunch conservative" to get a significant political following.

Sarah: Please, go away, and take your fellow uneducated rednecks with you.

Go start a country somewhere.

Maybe Texas?

KG, MN   November 4th, 2009 10:00 am ET

If Sarah Palin really wanted to reach out to America, should would expand her interviews to include the likes of people such as Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews and Stephanie Meyers. I hope she doesn't go to Kansas City. I think that would be too much for her to digest. There are two Kansas Cities?

Steve   November 4th, 2009 9:58 am ET

I can't wait for this book! I went out and got a brand new box of crayons so I can color all the pictures! I hope there are lots of angels and magical guys and such!

RJ   November 4th, 2009 9:58 am ET

What a phony!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Karen   November 4th, 2009 9:56 am ET

I wish she would go to back to Alaska, raise her family, hunt moose and snowboard!

Vi   November 4th, 2009 9:56 am ET

Why doesn't she just go away.

Vanessa   November 4th, 2009 9:56 am ET

Be careful, Sarah. Barbara is not a wing nut like the others. You might actually be challenged. Think this over.

ladonna   November 4th, 2009 9:56 am ET

CNN, CNN, CNN, tsk tsk. When will your obsession with Sarah Palin ever end???? You guys are like a bunch of stalkers. This is not news! Give it up. Please. Find something else to "report".

Virginia Independent Voter   November 4th, 2009 9:55 am ET

We can only hope that her book is as wildly successful as her endorsement of Hoffman for the 27th district seat in New York. That woman's ego is larger than her home state of Alaska.

james hamlin   November 4th, 2009 9:55 am ET

Wow, you mean she is going to sit down with every Fox news host and promote her book, and then go on Rush and Beck radio programs? I sure didn't see that coming!

katiec   November 4th, 2009 9:55 am ET

The people Palin is being interviewed by shows the sewer caliber of this woman.
And, for CNN to headline this, with no mention of the important victory for the Democrats in NY, puts them in bed with Fox, the republicans and the extremists.
No wonder their ratings are at the bottom of the barrel as they tout news you can trust, yet show their complete bias for the party of NOthing.

George in Az.   November 4th, 2009 9:54 am ET

That's quite a soft ball tour. What a line-up!! How about stopping in at ABC,CBS abd CNBC for some relevant questions??

james right   November 4th, 2009 9:54 am ET

She is a nut job and getting paid nice racket

Palin's book tour will raise Levi Johnston's profile   November 4th, 2009 9:53 am ET

I already have Palin fatigue. She certainly is courageous to face the tough questions she will receive by appearing on every opinion show on Fox. Saturating the media for personal economic gain is a highly noble endeavor and shows she is the undisputed frontrunner in 2012.

Josh Mandel   November 4th, 2009 9:53 am ET

I went to the bookstore and stood next to the sign that said, "Sarah Palin's 'Going Rogue': Coming Soon!" And guess what? I could see the Russian Literature section from there!

Beyond Absurd   November 4th, 2009 9:52 am ET

Shameless self promoter with nothing to say except "do anything you have to for money".

RLF   November 4th, 2009 9:51 am ET

Gee. And while appearing on Beck's program she can but his current book title into practice...

inofritzn   November 4th, 2009 9:51 am ET

Yes CNN, lead with a Palin story, bury everything about yesterdays election like it never happened. Good puppets, good.

Mike S., New Orleans   November 4th, 2009 9:51 am ET

Thank God we got our 'Daily Palin' today. I was beginning to worry that Sarah had stopped shilling for the media that she despises so much. And it is very nice of her to announce the shows she'd like to be on besides that little group of right wing neocon nutjob channels.
I'm sure Oprah and Barbara are thrilled.

David   November 4th, 2009 9:49 am ET

Hopefully she won't come anywhere near my hometown...

Connie   November 4th, 2009 9:49 am ET

What the quitter 'wants' is not what the majority of Americans 'wants'......

I will be buying "Going Rouge, An American Nightmare".

Betty in Pa   November 4th, 2009 9:48 am ET

I honestly wish this lady would just GO AWAY!
It is obvious by her choice of some people to "sit" with what her ideals are. She is all for Sarah and I feel sorry that John McCain got tied with her. I would have voted for Mr. McCain had she not been on the ticket.
The US doesn't need a "Barbie" doll they need Leaders!
She sure isn't the "soccer Mom", family first person she portrayed herself to be. Go home Mrs. Palin...You are still married with a family aren't you?

DJ in TX   November 4th, 2009 9:47 am ET

This tour should say everything you need to know about Mrs. Palin. Nothing else needs to be said. Everyone of these hosts will only throw her softball questions (as Hannity did during the campaign). O'Reilly has said he'll give her tough questions, but that remains to be seen.

This book should also tell you about her ambitions. She left the governor position in Alaska, and immediately wrote a book. Enough said.

Jose   November 4th, 2009 9:46 am ET

If you enjoy talking to and listening to morons, than I betcha this will be entertaining. I could really care less and I wouldn't spend $1 on her book at my local Goodwill either.

Dean   November 4th, 2009 9:45 am ET

So she wants to sit down with OReilly,Hannity, Beck, Ingraham and Limbaugh and the rest of the Neo Con wingnuts of this country to spread more of her lies and Sarah Values wink wink.... I know her book won't be on my shopping list this Christmas

Tom B   November 4th, 2009 9:43 am ET

I am impressed she is going to sit with Oprah and think that could be an interesting discussion. As to the others, well, it seems like a football player going to talk with a bunch of fawning cheerleaders. All fluff!

Big John   November 4th, 2009 9:41 am ET

Old proverb: "It's far better to keep your mouth shut and let everyone think you're a fool than to open your mouth and prove it." ...She proves it on every occasion.

Sniffit   November 4th, 2009 9:41 am ET

Thanks CNN. I read this more as a warning. I'll be sure not to be in any of those places or watching any of those channels on the dates and times listed.

Palin represents everything wrong with this country and its political system right now and her policital celebrity marks a backwards slide for women in general.

carol   November 4th, 2009 9:41 am ET

She is very good at keeping questionable company with the exception of Winfrey and Walters. She hangs out with the losers!

Jim   November 4th, 2009 9:41 am ET

(yawn)
who cares? i don't understand why this woman is still in the news.

Mark   November 4th, 2009 9:40 am ET

Can't wait. I've ordered 5 books already. Perfect Christmas gifts.

adods   November 4th, 2009 9:40 am ET

Let's not forget Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse and Big Bird. After all, they are her real intellectual equals.

Roni   November 4th, 2009 9:37 am ET

Get a clue CNN . . . nobody cares. Stop reporting on her.

killbucket   November 4th, 2009 9:37 am ET

Nobody cares. And where's that "in high demand" activity she was bragging about? She's on facebook all day, like a common loser.

Better Panic   November 4th, 2009 9:35 am ET

Here I thought it would be titled, "Going Mavericky". I hope that this< "book", is not soled overseas. I would hate to give the world the impression that hers is a typical American life.

sean   November 4th, 2009 9:33 am ET

Is Palin bringing along the woman who actually wrote the book, or is she pretending this book was written by her?

Thomas   November 4th, 2009 9:33 am ET

She's all about the MONEY !
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

GoingRogue   November 4th, 2009 9:31 am ET

Why would Gov. Palin sit down with ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, or MSNBC? All you people do is bash and lie about the woman.

Bewildered   November 4th, 2009 9:30 am ET

No mention of her appearing on Jon Stewart's show? I'm shocked...

seebofubar   November 4th, 2009 9:29 am ET

I find it comical how CNN and the democrats are so interested in what Sarah Palin is doing, it's as if you find something aluring about her. She's just an average housewife with an average family with typical family problems who happens to be sucessfull, have conservative ideals, a drive to do what's right and speak the truth . Maybe that's what scares you.

JOHNSON oklahoma   November 4th, 2009 9:29 am ET

palin and speaking in the same sentence laughable

A. Goodwin   November 4th, 2009 9:27 am ET

Palin, O'Reilly, Hannity and Beck = PUKE!!

Richie   November 4th, 2009 9:27 am ET

Has someone read the book to her yet?

Andy Hess   November 4th, 2009 9:26 am ET

Sarah Palin should try to tread water against a host who doesn't share her ultra-conservative views. She needs to be able to prove herself against someone who won't nod in agreement with everything she says. She needs to go on the Howard Stern show and get some much needed respect. There is no respect in only speaking with those whom agree with you. He will take her out of her element and show who she really is.

ross berg-buffalo ny   November 4th, 2009 9:22 am ET

For her sake sure hope she's better at selling books that polotics!!

Her recent endorsement of Doug Hoffman cost him the election if you believe the exit polls of swing voters who gave Palins endorsement as a key reason they decided to vote the other way!!!

My guess is that the Rep. leadership hasn't yet gotten how negatively she is viewed by the vast majority of independent voters and they're the ones who decide elections.

Maybe they'll wake up before the '010 elections???

Joyce in South Carolina   November 4th, 2009 9:22 am ET

Surprise??????????///

No friends on the left!!!!!!

I am surprised that she has any friends at all.

Mike, Albany   November 4th, 2009 9:21 am ET

You go, girl! Things are going so well! Your book has already been deep discounted on amazon to $9.00 and it hasn't even shipped yet! Your guy lost in NY's 23rd. Sitting down with Bill, Glenn, Sean, and Greta will marginalize you even more, so I think this is a very intelligent move. Oh, and go into the Barbara Walters interview cold. Your moments with Katie Couric were precious, and I'd love a repeat of that.

Chris from Maine   November 4th, 2009 9:19 am ET

So she will only appear on right wing talk radio and Fox News.. so she only can handle softballs.

How will she run for President if she wont appear on non-sycophant shows?

And dont say "Oprah" because Oprah isnt gonna ask any tough questions.

Laurie   November 4th, 2009 9:18 am ET

Birds of a feather flock together. With the exception of Barbara Walters, who is a true journalist(fair and balanced!) Be sure to bring some of that moose stew when you sit down with your number 1 fan, Greta!!!!!

CHANGE.COM   November 4th, 2009 9:15 am ET

Perhaps she can really see Russia from those TV hosts! What a piece of rouge crap she is.

bob in LA   November 4th, 2009 9:13 am ET

Didn't this elecetion yesterday teach the media that she is irrevevant? who cares?

dee   November 4th, 2009 9:13 am ET

It's all about the money. I feel sorry for you Sarah!

Tram   November 4th, 2009 9:13 am ET

O'Reilly, Hannity, Beck, Limbaugh - those are HER idea of friendly faces??? What planet does she come from? Those are the most unfriendly faces on tabloid news shows!

Maybe she needs to look up the word "friendly" in her Funk & Wagnalls because what she thinks it means isn't what the rest of the world thinks it means.

Independent   November 4th, 2009 9:12 am ET

Who CARES???????? Sitting down with all the phony people on tv and radio....things didn"t go their way in the NY race...wonder what they will say about that...

NOT buying her book....

George   November 4th, 2009 9:10 am ET

Yep Wacko's stick together, Palin, Beck, Hannity and O'Reilley!!!!
Hey Sarah, don't forget your other fine Americans, Rush limbaugh and Joe the Plunger!!! A Wacko's paradise, Fox News " we lie, you believe"

Cal Dem   November 4th, 2009 9:09 am ET

Heaven forbid she should sit down with anyone that might ask her something controversial like........Sarah, what is your name?

Seattle Sue   November 4th, 2009 9:06 am ET

The 23rd. district of N.Y. has not had a Democratic Rep. in over 100 years, the Sarah Palin endorses a Conservative and a Democrat wins the election. Is this an example of Palin power? Three whoop-de-dos for Sarah.

Enough   November 4th, 2009 9:05 am ET

Sarah Palin obsession continues!! Sorry, I still like her, she's a breath of fresh air compared to the pollution in the white house.
