This is a great thing for America and as expected, the professional republicans are united against health care reform. The party of No, the party of the status quo, the party of the insurance and drug companies and so on, the Republicans have yet again voted against something so basic and right for the betterment of the country.
Yes we can, yes we can - bankrupt American and ruin it for all of the future generations! This bill will mark the economic downturn which will likley kill our economy and eliminate the U.S. as a world power!

I think the Senate should pass the bill through reconciliation, where they need 50 + the VP's vote. This is the same thing the Republicans did on the tax cuts for the wealthy!!

Thank goodness!!! Finally progress is made for the good of the American people. I am a registered Republican and I am ashamed to admit it because of the stupidity that has taken over common sense and the lack of humanity the party has displayed on this and many other topics. Get over it and drop the petty schoolyard alliances....GROW UP! The Republican Party is an embarrassment – yes I said it. You were voted to represent the people. I think it is time for every member of congress to volunteer 5 days in a hospital within their local area and another 5 days in another area of the country where it is not as posh. They will see first hand how healthcare really works. I will make sure I vote Democrat at each election and during the primaries any conservative or incumbent will not get my vote. Time to get the broom out.

I sat and watched all afternoon and tonight and I was sickened to see the antics used to slow down the process. Republicans did not have the votes to stop the bill but they did everything they could to slow it down. I sat and watched them act like children not wanting to deal with that which was coming. I sat and watched them purposely interrupt speakers that had been recognized. They just acted so childish it was a shame to see grown-ups acting like this.

This is a very sad day for Americans. They have no idea what the House just did. if this actually gets enacted into law, it will be the start of a downward spiral for this country. I am ashamed of this country for putting people in power who aim to destroy what our founding fathers tried so hard NOT to do, have the government take over areas they have no business putting their noses into.

Yeah! President Obama has done more in 9 months then 8 long years of the Republican's. Now we have to listen to them whine and lie. Shut up Republicans you had your chance and blew it. Obama is doing a good job in reversing all of your blunders. Some say it's going slow. I say analyze what he's accomplished in 9 months and dummy's stop counting the months he was not in the White House. The Bushes wouldn't even let his family stay in the guest house so Sasha and Melia could attend school.
